A good place for all the clothing and shoes. I love their collection of shoes and the various options they have. I love the store layout and how beautiful it is. A very nice place for some good shopping.

Von Maur is a wonderful store with experienced floor staff. They truly make the difference in wanting to shop at a store or trying to find online items. You cant beat their quality. Nancy at store 38, in boys and infants was top notch and deserves to be mentioned ☺️. She helped me order an item they didnt have in stock and sent it with a hand written note. What a gem !

I havent been to Von Mauer in several years. A great store. Will go back. The girls department had a wonderful selection of clothes with a great price range. A giant perk - they box and wrap purchases for free.

Everytime I walk in the door I feel my blood pressure going down. So much pampering, I adore this store. If you remember the old Daytons stores this is it!

Was looking for a new suit for an upcoming wedding. Was greeted and helped by Ben in the Mens suit department. I could not have been happier with the customer service and the professionalism that I received. I was so happy I offered Ben a tip, but he absolutely refused. Will definitely come back in the future!

I love Von Maur!! Yes, its pricey but you can find some really good deals! I found some silver jeans that are too long but they do FREE alterations! I could have paid $15 for more of an exact hem, but I didnt feel the need.And they were cheaper than the silvers at Macys!Extra special thanks and kudos to Danny for his help. He helped me find my jeans and told me about the alterations!

This is my go-to for business casual and formal attire. They offer free alterations on any jacket or suit purchase. They truly work to find you a good option and dont pressure you. Brian in mens formal wear (and all the staff Ive met in mens and jewelry/watches have been outstanding). Their business depends on business from people like us. The guy in the mens area wouldnt help measure my friend and we were looking for dress clothes. We ended up going to Macys where the men even helped select outfits and let us know about sales we were unaware of. Maybe we didnt look like wealth but we ended up buying a suit coat, two dress shirts, a pair of pants and then we came back for another dress shirt two days later. Von Maur in Rosedale was a bit stuck up for my liking. The guy said No, I cant help measure you you just have to try things on. No helpful suggestions of any kind... He was also not helping anyone else at the time. The guys at Macys were multitasking and still made our shopping a more positive experience.

My go to place, whenever I need something special. Great service, great store.

Such a nice department store! This is not the Marshall Fields that I miss, but its that nice feel of a store where you can find really nice quality items. Since I discovered this store six months ago, Ive already bought three pairs of leather shoes from them. Before that I had been looking for some pretty but quality womens loafers.If you miss Herbergers or Marshall Fields, I would give Von Maur a try.

Beautiful stuff. but the piano player ruined it for me.She was just playing notes, she never played anything musical, with feeling, just pounding out page after page of notes.but my wife liked it so whatevever. I couldnt wait to get out of there. They should have a harpist... So much more elegant.

Hearing the melodious tunes from the live grand piano makes me feel rich as I enter this store. Unfortunately, Im not. I have one code here: only look at the clearance items. However, that has gotten me some pretty fantastic items at a decent price. This has allowed me to arrive to any fashionable event, clad in my fresh looking new button up. And, when people ask me where I get my clothes, I get to take the pipe out of my mouth and say, I got it from... (dramatic pause) Von Maur.Overall: a great store with very helpful and kind employees, but only go here when you have some extra stimulus check money that you need to blow through.

We went here looking for a mother of the bride dress. My mom is really picky when it comes to dresses. The lady working on 6/20/20 around 3:30pm by the dressing room was absolutely fantastic! I wish I could remember her name. She was very helpful and gave good suggestions. She helped my mom with a few dresses and even got her shoes to try on with the dress which we bought because they matched beautifully! Things are just a tad bit pricey, but other than that amazing store!

Great selection of clothes my wife and I were looking for. Price is a little high but you get what you pay for. My wife bought a dress and a pair of shoes and I got a pair of dress pants. We looked at a couple different places in the mall before we purchased from Von Maur and couldnt find anything remotely close in style. The staff was very friendly and accommodating as well. Overall a pleasant experience.

This place is wonderful! You feel as if youre stepping back in time when you walk through this store. Its expensive, but you are able to find some items on sale if youre on a budget. Sometimes there is a piano player on the main level. Its a great place to shop, or just to browse.

I like shopping here because I can find the same name brands as another well known department store- but yours is cleaner & offers better service. However, while shopping in womens intimates I was looked up & down several times by the associate. Big turn-off. I will purchase somewhere else where I feel more comfortable.

Von Maur is a great, high-end retail destination. I have gone here for make-up assistance for a wedding, shoe shopping for a graduation, and general bargain hunting. While prices are a bit high (due to designer names), and they do not run traditional sales, they make up for it in generous mark-downs and clearance racks. The employees are friendly and helpful, but not pushy (a big deal breaker for me). I also love the free gift wrapping, which comes in handy for birthdays or the holidays.

Finally... found the shoes for Mothers Day here, after searching SEVERAL... other stores.

This is a great place to shop. They will order things from other stores for you. I love that they will wrap up your purchase. It make you feel special.They have the nicest dresses. They are expensive, but I can usually find a nice on on the clearance rack. I love this store. Oh, the piano playing is a nice touch.

I am beyond impressed by both the store and the working knowledge of the people, and the service they provided.My wife with with our daughter, and I was with 2 of our 3 sons to get them new dress clothes. What an incredibly excellent experience from both the help and the cost stand point.They took measurements of my boys, set them up with clothing they can grow into, and guided me on cost while getting them things they liked, which means they will wear.Very, Very well done and I WILL be back !!!!!

I enjoyed everything about my experience at Von Maur. I actually was just parking there and was going to walk through to the mall to look for a cocktail dress, but decided to browse their department and Im so glad I did! Von Maur is reminiscent of the way department store shopping used to be. Sales people available and willing to actual help you find what youre shopping for, they assist you with your needs - fitting room, sizes, etc. and were actual NICE and COURTEOUS. You just dont find that at other department stores anymore. The store itself (albeit new) was very clean and inviting and even had a piano player providing lovely live music.The icing on the cake was free alterations (I just needed a hem) and I really appreciated that. They also called me about a week later, a real live person, just to see how my experience was. Really enjoyed my experience and will absolutely go back to shop there. They gained a customer for sure.

Beautiful store, lots of parking in the attached multi-level lot, and wonderful service by Jenny who helped me to find the perfect footwear for two different occasions. Remember to wear a mask in the Age of Covid. 😷😉

I stopped by for the first time and was very impressed. The displays were neat and organized and the staff was friendly and helpful. There was actually breathing room, too, which is sometimes overlooked in department stores. They even had a live piano player! What I like most about it though, is that for being a high-end department store, the prices are very reasonable.

Love Von Maur, but I also expect service when I come. WHEN I COME to your store, and ask where something is, please don’t just point me. Help me out a little. I hate just being treated flippantly. Don’t just stand around doing nothing when I asked for help..

Camille and Renee did a phenomenal job helping me pick out items while there. They were both patient and helpful and positive. This was my first time in the store and I will definitely be back because of them. Thank you.

There are always knowledgeable staff around to help an answer any questions, and they are always kind and not overly pushy like in other retail stores. I also really appreciate the mothers room where there is a nice recliner to sit and nurse as well as a changing table and diaper disposal. Would definitely recommend to others.

Tonight I stopped in for the first time at this new department store. A friend told me they were known for customer service. I was impressed not only with the look of the store but with the friendliness of the staff. Once I got the item I had come to get, I started to leave and saw another item that I decided to get for a Xmas gift right at closing time.The salesperson, Brian, said do you want this gift wrapped. I said, normally I would but you are closing and the gift is a pretty big odd shaped item. He called the gift wrapping department and told them I was on my way up. He then went out back to look for a larger box. He then went upstairs and worked with the gift wrapping person, Carian, as they both worked to figure out the best way to wrap the gift! While they did this I was so impressed, I wrote out a card of praise on both of them since they were now definitely after work hours! Brian then carried my large package to the door and offered to wait while I got my car. I haven’t had such good customer service in years! Check them out, I hope your experience will be as good as mine!

Very nice department store. But I was not happy that they cute the tags on some of the tops I bought because they were marked way down. I dont appreciate having my property defaced, no matter what price I paid for it.

Higher end anchor store in a higher end mall. Seems like the kind of place that youd find butlers hanging out. Well maintained anf decorated with classy live piano for while you shop.

Nice new store. Open floor plan with lots of options. Kids shoes are a great bargain here for some reason. We have purchased several pair of shoes for our little one here at very reasonable prices.
