I went on the website to look at pricing for speakers and it said to call for best price. So I call to get the price for speakers and they also let me know they do same day installation and after all that they inform me they don’t have the speakers in stock. Thanks for wasting both of our time.
After 2 years without the use of my car horn, Michael at Mickey Shorr on Gratiot, diagnosed and solved the problem in 5 minutes. Two different Kia dealerships were unable to diagnose the problem. Thank you Mickey Shorr.

I ask alot of questions and may seem like the type of customer who would waste your time and leave. Brad happily answered all my questions, gave me man options to choose from and now Im secured and overly happy to hop in my car every second of the day.2nd Id like to thank Mike, for not only perfectly installing all of my equipment but for his personal advice and knowledge as well. also for his fun spirt and attitude. made it a pleasure working with him. Roseville, MI 48066Manager: BradDate of Service/Installation: 6-26-20Service Total Cost: $1290.00Timeline of events6-26-20Installation done of JL Audio Speaker System. Upon pickup, I noticed the trim was hanging down on the passenger door. It was fixed after I pointed it out. Screws were found on the floor of my car as well. Once home, I noticed two Tweeters were not installed. I called Brad and he said to come in Monday to have them installed6-29-20Brought my vehicle back in to have Tweeters installed. Waited 2 1/2 hours at location for them to be installed.7-4-20All Tweeters blew out while on vacation. 7-6-20Called Brad about the blown out tweeters and Brad said to bring it in on Friday to have the speakers replaced and fixed.7-10-20Brought my vehicle in. Used Uber to get home and back. Left my car there all day and they did absolutely nothing to it. They never installed the Inline High Pass filters which was likely the cause of the tweeters blowing. Brad said to call again on Monday and that they would get the parts needed on Tuesday from the warehouse. Brad offered me a $106.00 refund for my troubles that I never recieved. No one spoke to me when I came to get my car at 6 pm.7-14-20Called Brad to inquire about speakers needed. Brad was not there.7-15-20Called Brad again and he said the speakers were not available yet and he would call on Thursday to let me know when the speakers were in.7-16-20Did not hear back from Brad.7-17-20.Called Brad in the am and he said he still did not have the speakers. He was now saying they did not have them at the warehouse or any other location. I then asked for the district managers phone number. Brad immediately asked me to wait and he would call around to find the speakers. Said he would call back soon. 45 minutes later, he called back to say he went to another location and found the speakers. I brought my vehicle there once more, using Uber again to get there and back. I left my vehicle there all day for the re-install fix. Picked up my vehicle after 6 pm. I noticed a static sound in the background coming from all of the speakers. Brad did not call to inquire how the re-install went or how my speakers sounded. I am not even sure that the JL Speakers installed are the correct ones because they do not sound the same.7-20-20Contacted corporate and spoke with Katie at ABC Warehouse/ Mickey Shorr corporate office. Explained in detail the events of my failed installation. I explained that I no longer wanted to deal with Brad or go back to the Roseville location for any further services. She told me someone named Shane would contact me within 24 hours.7-21-20Brad called me to inquire about the speakers and question why I contacted corporate about my issues. I explained I no longer wanted to deal with him or anyone at this location.7-21-20Contacted ABC Warehouse/Mickey Shorr corporate office once more to notify them about Brad contacting me about calling corporate and inquired again when I would receive a call from someone at corporate. She said she would send another email to Shane and note it was my second call.7-23-20. 10:30 pm - Still have not received a call from Shane or anyone from corporate.The service I received at this Mickey Shorr location was unacceptable and unprofessional. Brad and his employees did not deliver the product as promised nor did he make efforts to make things right until I asked to speak to someone higher up. I paid good money for a high quality sound system and have yet to receive it. This place was awesome. I had a budget. They kept it under. I installed my system. When my door speakers didn’t fit I returned them, they hooked me up with some that was $100 more at no charge . My system sounds great thanks to these guys!!

Use to go here all of the time. Rude sales person who would not even take the time to talk directly to me. So I went down the road and had an auto start added to my wifes truck, sons car, and daughters car too.

About 3 years ago Mickey Shorr installed a remote starter/alarm on my vehicle, recently the alarm failed to engage, wasnt sure what the problem was. So I had the guys at Mickey Shorr take a look at it, Come to find out a wire was broken. I was a little worried about how much the repair was going to cost me. Amazingly the gentleman replaced the wire for me at no charge! I really cant thank them enough! Truly amazing customer service! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
Was able to get a sub install in my 2018 fiat 500L. Thank God for them now I have some bass. I know it was a learning experience but tell Josh I believe his name is to get ready because I want new door speakers, window tint, and a auto start installed!!
Sales people could care less about what your looking for, and then give an attitude when they have to look up the pieces needed for the system to fit. Then they never get back to you on the price. They seem to only want to install plug and play. I could do that, but I went to them because I thought they could handle it. Better off going to Best buy.

Brad was a great help in explaining and discussing what kind of remote start and alert system I was looking for. After my JEEP was almost broken into, I did not want to take another chance. We disscussed glass audio sensor that helps detect any crack on any glass in the car. Great help, same day service, and excellent customer service. I wouldn’t go anywhere else.
I came here checking the prices of the remote starts for my suv. I spoke with the brother there he laye out the prices for me and other choices. I endup getting one install with 3 moths warranty and it was fast installation. I recommend this place for everyone.

Got a 6 inch touch screen radio put in my Camaro. I brought my car in with working interior lights had to leave without them working because they cant guarantee their work apparently on older cars. Its a 2000 Z28 with 80000 miles. They also told me they could hook up the steering wheel buttons... lies.If your car is not brand new dont bring it to Mickey Shorr - manager
Friendly and helpful but dont go unless you have LOTS of time on your hands. Spent four hours there to get a few speakers installed. Only one installer showed up was the excuse. Four salesmen walking around and only one installer.....
This place has got to be the absolute worst place around. Husband brought my car in at 9:00 am for an auto start, literally took all day. Got the call at 4:20 that it was finally done. Got there only to hear a piss poor manager say the reason for the time delay was because they only had 1 technician. Totally not my problem. Asked what they were going to do about our poor service, he said nothing. Not one person showed me how to use my newly installed auto start, manager only told me to press the middle button. Walked into my car, only to hear rap music blasting from my car and the seat all the way back. Screw Mickey Shorr!Don’t patronize this establishment. Maybe the owner of Micky Shorr will call me to rectify their problem and fix it. Word of mouth goes a long, so I plan on telling everyone I know. I hope it was worth it.

Signed me up for a payment option and said after the first 4 payments are done which is equivalent to total cost Id be all set and paid off for! Well today I had another deduction come out of my bank account to realize they LIED ABOUT IT ALL! My total was 990$ and the payments say I owe 3500!!! Do not trust a word they say! On top of it all they fried my PCM and once I went back they said they arent familiar with my type of car! So why did you install in the first place!!!!!!!! I wouldnt wish this place on my worse enemy!

I had a radio installed with speakers and now I cant lock my drivers side door. Im only able to lock it manually from the passenger side. Now I have to make a second trip there for them to correct the problem. Very inconvenient.

The most horrible installation experience. I had a in dash CD player installed on September 23rd 2017. When I got in my vehicle to leave the radio wouldnt turn on. I also noticed after I left that the screen was scratched during installation. I will never return to Mickey Shorr to have anything installed in my vehicle ever again and I hope whoever is reading this does the same. Very poor customer service and the installers dont really want to do any work.

I had my Viper alarm system installed in 2009, and since then it worked flawlessly until I had a brake system issue and I got brand new brake lines installed at a local place in Clinton township and they broke the ground wire while working on my vehicle, obviously they didnt realize what they had done to my Viper alarm system, it still locked up and the lights flashed, but no chirping sounds when I depressed the lock or unlock button, so now my only option was to see if MICKEY SHORE in Roseville, MI could fix it and they did in less than 10 minutes, and they did it for free, THANKS MICKEY SHORE.

I had this shop update a Viper alarm for my 1993 convertible Stang.I am old school and would not have considered MS to work on my auto electronics based on memories & thoughts of the late 80s - early 90s hack jobs I remember from my high school days.However, after I shopped three or four places, and just wasnt hearing what I wanted to, I decided to check out MS because it carried Viper, which my Stang already wore.Very quickly I knew I wanted Dan at this particular MS to do my install.Dan there has been on the job since 1992, and knew all my old and high end electronic equipment and was friendly and thorough with all my anal questions.Done in half a day, alarm works perfectly and I am happy enough to write this review.Thanks Dan, and youre right, they just dont build the stuff like they used to!

Excellent price on a Kenwood DNX893 & b/u camera as well as excellent service. My Pontiac G8 required a custom installation kit with AC touchscreen which I bought separately and brought to them. After install there were issues with the kit (no fault ofthe installer) but he worked relentlessly until each was debugged. The store manager was also knowledgeable and treated me well - both are longtime employees experienced in the field. I highly recommend Nick and Dan - I am a customer for life!
I got 2 JL audio 12s installed with a rockford amp and bass knob. Havnt had a problem with the sound hookup yet. Only 2 issues were the time it took to install and the pricing

Took 6 and a half hours to get the wiring done to hook up my sub and it didnt even work right. Took it back four times now and they didnt fix it. Tried multiple amps and subs but they did something wrong with the wiring. Taking it back one last time when their head technician is back but if they cant fix it Im asking for a full refund.
The only thing that sucks Is the fact you can’t make appointments for insulation first come first serve doesn’t make any sense

Place sucks it’s a rip off
Had a Kenwood radio installed with remote starter and sub woofer back in November 2016 on credit. I spent $2500 so you would think with that amount of money spent, the better the installation. WRONG.3 months after installation the subwoofer goes out. I had to go back for an exchange. There is a 1st come 1st serve policy there so I spent my whole Saturday waiting on a 10 minute speaker exchange.A few months afterwards my car would not start using the remote start. In fact it would continuously start without turning over and I had to disconnect the battery to stop the malfunction. I notified the shop owner Nick about it, and convinced me that it was a dealership issue and not Mickey Shorrs.So I go to my dealership to explain the issue, they disconnect the remote start item and the car stated right up. This cost me $450. I take it back to MS to let them know that it was their product that was at fault and not a dealership issue.I was expecting to be reimbursed for the inconvenience because I told them that it was their fault but I had to pay $450 to prove it. Instead they re installed the remote start and told me how it was malfunctioning. After waiting all day for the installation, I drove off and realized that the parking lights no longer turn on when I hit the remote start. It works though.I will not go there for any future installation of whatever product that they have. And yes their installers are non chalant about interacting with the customer but it is what it is.My advice to them: 1. Schedule appointments to avoid long unnecessary wait times. 2. Have your installers communicate with the customer about the progress. Upon my first visit Ive witnessed multiple customers coming in to complain about installation issues. 3. If you are found in fault of bad installation, at least offer a free product, discount or reimbursement to the customer that had to consult a 3rd party to discover that your product is at fault.

They gave me an ok deal for stero and back up camera...but they could not get the expensive module to work properly...so they had to bypass most of the reasons I had to put it...now I dont get some features that I should..I dont know if it is there fault or the maker of the module but does not make me want to go spend over 1k again at this location
Today 3/18/13 was the first time i ever went to this location, my dad suggested it and my regular installer was too busy goofing off so i took my business elsewere. I got to say the service was OUTSTANDING to say the very least. to put a head unit, subwoofer, amp and run 0 guage wire in a 2002 ford escort (yes zero guage in an escort) I had to pay a wee bit more then ABC but abc told me oh we have to do this and do that and we cant do this and we got to hoist the car up and blah blah so try Mickeys. when you have a bass addiction like i do for them to charge me the extra what was it $20 i think? idk i got to say i really dont care.I would like the staff at this location to know that they have won me over as a customer and i do plan on returning. My only grief and this is very minor is i would like to have seen a larger display of audio brands it was mainly JVC, JL audio and like 2 other brands dont get me wrong JL is a nice brand but your just paying for the name for the price of a 13W7 i could get a Crossfire XS-V2 SPLEdit: so i went in today to get new RCAs and 1/0 ring terminals the guy asked what i was running i told him HCCA 12 on two Powerbass asa 1500.1Dx amps strapped, 3 batteries and a 320 amp Singer alt. He proceeds to tell me about his 2 door blazer with three 18s each running off 13,000 watts and he had a 3,000 watt alt that added to the power and he hit 178 db which is only 2 db shy of the world record.Too bad Craig Butlers world record stands at 182.x this story will be passed on to my great grand children.signed,happy returning customer
