This is thee best big 5 i have ever been to. My son is a first time baseball player and the staff is so knowledgeable and helpful and friendly. I so appreciate the insight they gave me and helping me size my son up for his bat! Excellent customer service

Okayish store. Not very helpful with the shoe department especially if youre looking for work boots. Still a good store if ya know exactly what brand you want, or are not picky on the product selection.

Stop by on our way up to Nyack Sno Park right when they open, workers were very friendly and welcoming. I went there for gloves and snow bibs and was able to get my family of 6 what we needed. Thanks!

In the day of online shopping.... Big-5 stands out as the perfect alternative to feel, see & try sporting and camping gear. And all at an online price to boot. As for me, I go there for their great selection of gaming, hiking and you name it sports shoes. Big 5 has a selection second to none and theres usually always a couple selections of each type on sale .

Love this place, I will be getting my sneakers and exercise clothing from now on here ..they had plenty of size 10 sneakers

Although I dont frequent this store that often, I may have to change that. I went in to check out their shoe selection since I had seen an ad for a few decently priced work out shoes. I was greeted right away and I had Matthew offer to help me find anything I needed, which of course I did need help since they keep most of the shoes in my size in the back. But he was quick about finding the pairs I needed. Although the shoes ended up not working out for me, they were still pleasant in helping me find what I needed.

I have been to many of Big 5 and unfortunate this one is closest. The customer service is in need of a revamp. If you need help call the Greenback or Arden store! Their customer service is great.

Amazing selection and prices

I was in the store in June to look at a paddle board and Was helped by Will who was extremely helpful and gave me great customer service. I don’t normally give reviews good or bad but Will went above and beyond to help me with my purchase. I think he deserves a raise!!

Ran by a bunch of Communists who refuse to sell ammo for no legitimate reason. The shelves were decently stocked and there were plenty of employees as well. I will not give big 5 a single dime any more

I like this little store. The staff is friendly and they have a lot to choose from. The parking lot is a little tricky but worth the issues.Never had a problem finding what we need and again the staff is very helpful.

Went for an exercise ball. Knowledgeable staff showed me right where they were and offered options on the brand and size. Since I was shopping for a specific one for physical rehab I was led to the exact one I needed. Awesome!

You can not shop here unless you wear a sheeple mask. Dont shop at a store that conforms to unsubstantiated claims and is too stupid to think for themselves.

I regularly buy my work shoes at Big 5 that is closer in Citrus Heights,but since they are closed. I came to this Big 5 in Roseville..and the worker guy helping me that day,wasnt of good service,as in he wasnt friendly at all..

Went to big 5 to look at some things . while looking at Sun glasses not one person offered to help. As we were walking around by the shoes 2 employees were just standing around talking to each other didnt even say hi or offered to help. Store looked very cluttered. Probably wont go to that location again.

Keyla was a great responsive cashier, but tallest guy, whose name I might have forgot, helped reaching, and understanding sales (Presidents Day) and savings on several items including back packs, fishing equipment, and the 10 hand warmers--Grabbers (Keyla on experience)...But tall man was indeed a great help, and sold me on 2 different bags, one on sale...Also, place is great, decorated and able to find price check areas quickly which really helped in saving time as well. Cool store, has everything one needs, and with cool people to answer any and all questions. Thanks So much!!

I bought shuttlecock from here,its a popular Asian sport which this is least popular in US. Its not available in all sport shops, luckily we could get from here. Also on a quick look into the shop I found that this shop has amazing collection of lot of sports stuff packed in a small space

Sistance depends on the associate. A couple are always friendly and helpful. Others not so much, either they ignore or are dismissive to customers.

Unfortunately with Sports Authority and Sport Chalet going out of business we are left with only Big 5. I was very disappointed in their shoe selection as they had only one option for mens baseball cleats and they were metal - which is not allowed in most leagues so ended up not being much help.They have a wide variety of sports gear but not much selection (if that makes sense)

This store generally has good prices and decent inventory. Sometimes it can take a while to get help, other times its great.

This place is alright some of the stuff is overpriced but you can find stuff that is either on clearance or on sale and sometimes you can get a really really good deal on it. Otherwise its a kind of small place so they dont have much. They do have a good selection of shoes though.

I was only in there for like 15 minutes to look for volleyball shorts my 11 daughter - she wear a little girls size 10. I actually found so that work. This was at the Douglas Blvd in Roseville .CA. My closest store on Greenback Lane in Citrus Heights, .CA doesnt carry them. I wish the stores all carried the same.

Walked in on this store last night to buy fishing lake supplies. My kids have been requesting to go lake fishing for quite sometime but me and my husband are both totally clueless on how to do it. Jason, the store manage, spent a good 30 mins of his busy time to show us the basics : from prepping the string to the pole up to setting up the bait/ lures. Now, we are en route to Icehouse, Ca... Thank you so much Jason for going beyond.. 😊

Great store good stuff

When I am looking for sporting goods I always end up at this Big 5! I tend to look at the weekly ads because they are constantly moving inventory. Great deals on shoes or whatever it is you need to enjoy most activities and outdoor sports.

Would not take a coupon I had even though it was not expired and NO there were no terms against my coupon. ANOTHER REASON TO SHOP ONLINE! when I asked the manager he didnt bother to look or even compensate for their mistake!

Showed up at 10:05 doors looked employees inside but didnt open door. Called and was told it was a manager issue. Nice waste of my time.

I needed snow pants for a trip the nect day and I bought snow pants from Any Mountain for $110 then came here and found better ones for $80! So I bought it and returned Any Mountain same night. Be sure to come here first to find better prices.

Things are just stuffed all over and its hard to find anything or even walk through the aisles. Its the only sporting goods store left around here but I dont know how with this organization or lack there of.

I love the variety of swimming gear and clothes. Anything from Nikes to Speedos,Prices are nice too. Always can find a coupon online and save :)

Stood around for 10 minutes at the shoe rack looking positively puzzled and unsure what to try on while several employees passed by without a glance or a single offer to help. They seemed to be self-absorbed, talking amongst themselves and when I did ask for shoes in my size it was like asking a robot to help. Finally decided on a pair of Dr. Scholls on sale. Great shoe but terrible service.
