BEST BIKE SHOP IN THE AREA! They are extremely knowledgeable and friendly. I came in with some questions about my bike and they helped me right away and even fit me in despite having not made an appointment. In addition, they helped me find a helmet, water bottle, bike shorts, and a little carrying case that fits perfectly on my bike. All around a great atmosphere and top notch quality! Would definitely recommend them 10/10 times for all things biking related.

I have bought 2 bikes in the last 7 months through them. The first had a few issues, I called, brought it in, they fixed it very quickly. The next bike, a Specialized Enduro, I had a bike that snapped, brought it in, and purchased a Frameset, they installed it in a timely manner, and I was extremely satisfied with my experience. Definitely will be returning, and will always buy parts through them.

Hands down the best bike shop Ive ever been to. Bought a mountain bike here almost a year ago and have been back for service a few times. Every time Ive been its been a great experience and have had phenomenal customer service. The folks at Roseville are incredibly helpful and sincere. They really went above and beyond to get me back on the trails. Its well worth the drive to Roseville!

Took my mountain bike in for work to have handle bars moved up on a riser i bought and installed. Due to short cables on the bike I could not move the handlebars high enough and needed new cabling. the service technician explained the difficulties they have had with part outages due to the COVID 19 supply chain disruptions and directed me on how to get the specific hydraulic brake cable needed so I purchased it and took it in for the work. They did a great job and now I can finally ride on trails around here and enjoy seeing everything. Finally I can sit more upright on the bike and look straight ahead instead of downward at the road and sidewalk. Nice job!

Great customer service! This store really made me feel at home with their great customer service and just the overall willingness of employees to assist in any way they could. This is a Christmas Miracle story. My son has a friend who had just got a new bike for Christmas, and stolen the VERY next day. This obviously is horrible, and not good. As soon as we found out about it our family and several others connected the young man Carson wanted to do something to make this right. We have had a long relationship with Roseville Cyclery and the owner Oliver through The Woodcreek Mountain bike team. We decided to gather whatever money we could raise and try to buy him a new bike. But when we started talking with Oliver he came up with an ever more fantastic solution. He said he would go back and look in the back for something special that might be perfect for what we needed. Within minutes he returned with a like new road bike that he said was there to be donated. He had not been able to get it to the donation company since they had been out of operation now for a while. He said we were welcome to it! Wow! What a generous company owner. It really is an incredible feeling when you can turn something unfortunate around and be part of something to make it turn out right! I want EVERYONE to help us thank Roseville Cyclery for us and remember how wonderful they are! I really hope we can all show our appreciation for Oliver, and promote his business! We need to help each other! It is MORE BLESSED to GIVE than RECEIVE !!! It is really true. MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!

Id head somewhere else. Seem understaffed or have too much business to be able to provide timely service. In late May said they were booking tune-ups so far out that theyd need to call me to set one up. Never got a call. Now they are still booking over 6 weeks out and couldnt schedule me. Their triathlon bike guy also seems to have left, if thats important to you. I also tried buying bike shoes from here and was told that my size was being ordered and would be in within a week. Two weeks later, not even shipped? Giving two stars as they were able to do a quick fix on my existing shoes while I was in the shop.Addendum: Got a call from Oliver, the shop owner. Sounds like there have been some definite extenuating circumstances.

I was able to pick-up some used/demo Turbo Levo SLs from Oliver and Matt and these bikes are amazing. Not only are the bikes exactly what we were looking for, but the entire staff at Roseville Cyclery were extremely patient and took the time to educate me on the latest eBike technology. I highly recommend these guys -- especially if you are looking for Specialized eBike products.

We went in looking for a new mountain bike for my wife to ride after she has our baby. We knew she wanted a Juliana but we did not know if she was ready to give 29in wheels a try or if she was going to stick with 27.5. Oliver greated us and promptly us and promptly set-up two bikes (Juliana Fratado & Juliana Maverick) with similar build specs. My wife rode them both and decided she loved the Maverick. We were initially going to wait a few weeks to buy the bike since she is 31 weeks pregnant but Oliver gave us such a great deal we decided not to wait. I would highly recommend Roseville Cyclery. They are friendly and have a ton of great bikes in stock. We will most definitely be giving them more business in the future

The staff are ridiculously awesome and helpful, knowledgeable in the many different fields of mountain biking (probably road biking too but thats not my cup of tea) plus some great inventory as well.

Called to get a stock check, unfortunately they no longer had the specific bike(and he even checked the warehouse), but he provided similar options and really felt invested in finding something that would work. Very personable, down to earth and friendly.

In life there are many things that are not awesome. RC is the exact opposite, friendly and caring staff. Great equipment, great selection. If you want to buy a bike, service a bike, or talk about bikes, do it here. Roseville Cyclery is hands down the best.I am editing this post after two years. All of the above statements still hold true, but I also want to emphasize how phenomenal the service department performs. Buying a bike is important, but it is a product - you can buy a product at a lot of places. The individual service and knowledge displayed by the service department is unmatched. These guys diagnose problems, correct them and do so in a timely and efficient manner. I am constantly breaking something and they are repairing it or replacing it in a time line that exceeds my expectations. Hands down, the best shop because of the people and the customer service they offer from sales to repair.

This is how all bike shops should be! I had a great time at Roseville Cyclery. I have not been on a bike since longer than I care to mention. So of course I was a little behind on the tech and the terms. This is when Tim and Oliver come to the rescue. They spent time with me explaining and catching me up on all the new and cool stuff on modern bikes. I told them what I wanted to do with the bike and they gave me the options that were available. I also was given time to try out and fit the bike. Even after the time and energy they spent with me they did not pressure me to buy like some other shops I had been to.Roseville is about 30-45 minutes from where I live so it not short trip for me but I feel that the service, price, and experience at Roseville Cyclery was worth the trip.You can go anywhere to buy an bike but if you want great service, knowledgable staff, good selection and no pressure experience then Roseville Cyclery is the the place to go. I had an excellent experience at Roseville Cyclery. My wife and I bought a Giant road bike (her first one), and the process was great. Employees were professional, knowledgeable, and extremely helpful. The shop had an unique appearance with granite counter-tops, wood flooring, and brick walls. They had great selection of bikes including Giant, Focus, and Yeti. Highly recommend checking it out.

The staff here goes above and beyond to make customers happy.They really take care of their customers!Starting off from my 3 yr old son, they fixed up his balance bike, and setup my tubeless tires, and special order my cycling nutrition.They took the time to fit me on mountain bikes and gravel bikes so I can decide which bike is best for my riding. I had some issues with my shimano brakes being too far for my reach and I took it in to get it adjusted. The mechanic adjusted my brake reach and then also checked and fixed the cables so it would work correctly.Being able to find a shop who takes care of my comfort and safety as their priority is super important to me as a cyclist. This is a shop where you come in and you are greeted right away and they want to help you get back on the road again. Love the staff here for making this a family friendly bike shop :)

Fabulous folks, fabulous service, simply fabulous. Very knowledgeable and they wont try to sale you something you dont need. As a newbie to the cycling world, it was nice to find a place I could trust who would help me make the most of my budget.

Spoke to Matt 30-40 minutes before closing time about bringing my bike in for a tune-up + some additional work to be done. Told Matt I would be there before they closed. I got there, admittedly, only a couple minutes prior to closing (was just dropping the bike off) but they were already closed - to be clear, they closed earlier than the posted closing time indicated. A young girl that was closing up made eye contact with but couldnt be bothered to offer an explanation/apology for their closing early.Called up REI.. they got me in immediately, $35 cheaper for the basic tune-up, and the gentleman helping me ended up talking with me for about 20 minutes about cycling. The only reason I didnt give these guys a 1-star was because due to their lack of customer service it resulted in me finding a better option. I will be going back to REI for any future work.I would encourage RC to realize that as a customer looking for work to be done on my bike the most important thing to me is the level of service. I dont think it takes an MIT Grad to work on my bike... but Im only going to let you touch my bike if you have the customer service to match your technical ability. In short, there are too many other bikes shops around for RC to provide that crummy of service.--------------------------Edit-------------------------After a response from the owner, Id like to point out it wasnt the matter of closing 2 minutes and 12 seconds early.. It was the fact that I personally spoke with Matt (possible the owner??) and told him that I would be dropping my bike off and that I was on my way to the store. If the store wanted to close 2 minutes early then perhaps Matt could have mentioned you would be closing early... what really struck me was how the lady still working inside, made obvious eye contact with me, couldnt be bothered with explaining or simply bringing my bike inside.My initial review still stands. And REI has been not only great for cycling but Im purchased hiking and camping gear from there since my last review as well... oh, and purchased a new Mt. bike...

Wow, super impressed with this place: I first went to Bobs on Sunrise but they didnt have a solution for my BMX (trying to go retro and fit some Tuff wheels to it) and they suggested Elite Bicycles but Im familiar with them and refuse to deal with any business with a cranky, ornery owner. I found these guys on the web and visited their place on Vernon Street. Neal is the tech who looked at my bike and initially was nervous about being efficient with the challenge of finding parts to make it work but when I said I was desperate to avoid going to Elite (they have more BMX expertise there) he took on the challenge. I think these guys dont charge enough! Everyone in the store was pleasant and professional, its a nice clean place. The sprocket (chain ring is what they call them now) and labor was under $40. Service was friendly and professional. Dig this place!
