I came in when they opened 7:30 without an appointment and David got me all set up, even gave me the coupon price without me showing it! Once the manager Nick got there he gave me a quote for new breaks and informed me I needed new ones! Super excited to go back and have them fix up the car! Came into shop for brakes for my.VW. They did a good job on my.brakes. But broke the lug nut cover on my wheel. I called the make the issue known, but they denied it happened, no one has touched my wheels except them. It was put back on with duct tape. Unhappy customer.

I havent had any problems with them. I started taking my vehicles here after learning Firestone was ripping me off for brand new items that were put onto my vehicle. Brakemasters has very competitive pricing and communicate the entire time your vehicle is there definitely a returning customer !

Brought in my Mazda B3000 to Steve at Brake Masters to get a sticky clutch addressed. They did a free inspection, diagnosed a simple issue and fixed it free of charge. He walked me through all the inspection and results and I felt completely at ease with his knowledge and process.

Set an appointment for 11:30 am . Arrived on time for the 11:30 set appointment . At 1:30 PM My car still wasn’t in the garage . I asked why not and was told the appointments were not set in stone . I left because I think appointments are set in stone give or take 30 mins but not 2 plus hours .

On Thursday afternoon we had a catastrophic break failure stranding us along I80 in my restored 1966 Mustang Convertible. We were able to make our way to this location with no breaks hoping that they could assist us. Upon arrival we were met by the manager who was absolutely rude and unprofessional. Not only were they not able to help us, but refused to offer any assistance whatsoever. I have been a customer of this company for over 10 years going to the other location in Roseville off Fairway and have always been treated with respect. I would not recommend store #162 at all. We were fortunately able to get the parts we needed from the neighboring auto parts store, who loaned us a few tools, so we could fix the problem and safely get home.

It was amazing I went in with no appointment and got my break pads changed in 3 hours just amazing. Super friendly people and very helpful. There was this crazy lady who was yelling at my husband about being blocked in she almost seemed to get violent.

A busy shop for a reason. Friendly, reliable and trustworthy. I recommend making appointments.

Great prices and awesome staff

These guys are great! I had break problems with my 2008 Ford Escape. My regular mechanic could not figure it out. The Ford dealer told me it was a a huge job and that I was probably better off getting rid of the car. Brake Masters in Roseville diagnosed the root cause and got it fixed for a very reasonable price. I have put 1000 miles on it since I picked it up and it is working great. Steve and Nick, you guys rock!

These guys are the best. I first used them back in August, and Ill never take my car anywhere else. I took my car in because my brakes were a little squeaky and they had about 50,000 miles on them. I basically told them to just go ahead and replace them because I was sure thats what it needed. They could have just done what I asked and taken my money. Instead, I get a call about an hour later from the technician (I believe his name was Nick) letting me know that my brakes still had plenty of life in them. Much appreciated! Besides that, theyre prices are wayyy better than anyone elses. Big O wanted $120 for an alignment and $85 for a synthetic oil change. These guys did the alignment for $80-something and the oil change for $60-something. Overall, I highly recommend them!

I setup an appointment at this location somewhat randomly for handfull of maintenance requests. Not only did this shop point out where other ones had been less scrupulous, they went above and beyond to provide additional information and direction for work that was out of their scope. Add that to a very professional, courteous, and complete work done at straightforward and competitive prices and I will be going out of my way to be their customer.

I needed a same day alignment. Edward was extremely nice and assured me that they could get to it right away. After the alignment was done they gave me a print out of what exactly was done to bring the alignment into conformity. Then the service technician who did the work explained the numbers on the print out. I was impressed with how much a non-conforming alignment can effect tire wear. The price was fair and the service was great.

Worked with Nick on a difficult project. Nick was great, very analytical and very professional. I will return to Brakemasters on Harding Blvd. The next time I have any brake problems

Really good customer service. My front break cost me 188 with 35 dollar coupon. I love the fact that Nick called and explained what is wrong and what needs to be replaced, never pressured me to buy or replace stuff that I dont need.

Great service. Had this shop replace and tune up brakes all around and fix a somewhat loose steering mechanism problem which was not easy to fix or diagnose. Ive been driving the vehicle over a month now after the repair work and I feel like it drives better and more stable than when it was new. Great work.

All the employees I spoke with were very pleasant and they seemed pretty upfront. They told me my brakes and were good. Mentioned some other minor problems that I can get fixed if it bothers me but not really a safety issue. I appreciated the fact they werent pushy.

Went there today for a simple oil change and it took 3 hours! After an 2 hours of waiting they told me I needed to replace my brakes and that it would be over $300. I told them I will be taking my car elsewhere to get that changed at a cheaper price and faster rate. I understand they were a little busy, but they never gave me a quoted time or apologized for waiting 3 hours. I even asked how long it was going to be and they said they were working as fast as they could. Dont waste your time here.

My fiancée was here today to get her brakes checked and then changed if needed. The store was busy so she was told her wait would be a matter of hours.Cool, fine, whatever. The issue comes in the way that a later mistake was handled. She gave her number and can verify that it was given correctly by checking the carbon copy. She then went to spend the time waiting elsewhere in Roseville. Hours later and having received no call, she started to get worried. She checked to see what time the store closed. And saw that she should get over there to see why the store still hadn’t contacted her.When she arrived, she was met by the last leaving employee who was courteous enough. However, in the conversation it was revealed that the store was dialing the wrong area code when trying to reach her. So the two messages that they left clearly did not reach her.Here’s where my complaint is: of course mistakes happen, however there was no process available to the employee to get her her keys and car back. So instead she was stranded there missing not only her car keys, but all her other keys including her house keys. Thankfully, her best friend was able to come pick her up, since I am States away and obviously couldn’t pick her up myself. This definitely adds to my frustration, however I am most livid that there was no recourse the store could take to help her in this situation.

Terrible service. Rude not happy about business

I am recommending this place to all my family and friends! I called because I received a coupon in the ValPak and needed an oil change before leaving out of town a few hours later. The receptionist was able to squeeze me in. As soon as I arrived I was kindly greeted and and asked to fill out a form. The receptionist was pretty educated on cars herself and gave some recommendations for my situation. She kept me informed on what they were doing and the timing because she new I had limited time. They found that my air filter was grossly outdated and dirty and even brought it to me to show me, then suggested I replace it. There was no pushiness whatsoever, I did not feel pressured at all. My service engine light was on and they were able to check it and give me the code without pushing a diagnostic text on me. They recommended it for sure and I think I need one but they didnt push it on my to make the decision right away. I felt that they were very honest and they were quick without feeling like they rushed anything. Great experience!

I appreciate that they keep a good record of my vehicle services and let me know when its helpful to correct something before it turns into a bigger problem, and also let me know when something is not a problem, and dont try to create a problem just to bill me.I highly recommend using this location for any of your vehicle needs.

Worst automotive experience ever! I dropped my car off for an 11 am appointment with coupons for an oil change and front brakes, and told them I would be waiting. After three hours I called them for the second time to check in because I had been given no information at this point. Mike is trying to upsell me, but cannot seem to explain the price difference and doesnt seem to want to honor the coupons. When I asked why I wasnt given a friendly heads up on the wait thats when I get a schedule stuck in my face. In 14 years of customer service I have never used my busy schedule as an excuse for poor communication. No work had been done on my car in 3 hours. Front desk let new customers walk up and addressed them while we were in the middle of talking, and I had to continue to wait to finish our conversation twice. He offered the person ahead of me a AAA discount, but didnt want to offer one to me. In the end he reluctantly took $8 off my bill, and gave me no follow up advice for my car like he gave other customers. I didnt get my car back until after 5pm. Even after it was done he helped a walk in instead of saying, Hey, I will be right with you. This guy has been waiting six hours for his car and I really want to get him on his way. Terrible customer service. All of this could have been avoided by the staff being transparent about their timeline of service, and I gave them three opportunities for that.

On a cross country trip, My vans brakes overheated coming through Yosemite. Since I just had the brakes replaced by the dealer in NC, I wanted to get them checked. Mark, Brian, and David were very kind and understanding. They got me in right away and performed a highly detailed brake check at no charge!!!! Brian (the mechanic) has experience with Dodge vans and he knew that under the load of Yosemite, it is possible to overheat brakes. I decided to get the oil changed since it was due and was pleased that for the total sum of $ 28.45, I was on my way. This location has knowledgeable people, and I was not taken advantage of. I run a business and know good service when I see it. Thanks again!!

Totaly disrespectful to me

I walked in to get my brakes checked without an appointment and my car was seen immediately! Mike helped me out and informed me that my rotors needed to be replaced because they were warped, (which I already had a hunch). Mike said if I wanted to wait about 45 min, that he could do them right then and there. I also informed him that I needed my windshield wipers replaced and he offered to put them on for me if I bought them next door at O’Reilly’s. Everything was done in about 30-35 min!! I absolutely recommend these guys to anyone needing they’re brakes or rotors replaced!!! Mike was extremely helpful and very professional, he treated me like a person and not just a customer.

Ive had a decent experience with Brake Masters, but today, after setting and appointment last week, I was told that it would be at least 1 1/2 before my oil change would be done. Sometimes these things cant be avoided, but at the least Im a bit annoyed. Well, Ive got better things to do on Saturday than hang out in a shop waiting.

I highly recommend you NOT use the Harding Blvd Brake Masters. After making an appointment for a front wheel alignment, I sat for 45 minutes before they even put my car on the hoist, only to find out they ... BIG SURPRISE ... couldnt do an alignment on my vehicle because the tires were only 13 inches. Like they couldnt have guessed that a 2004 Hyundai Accent might have small tires? These are supposed to be car guys, who would know. Very disappointed in the lack of professionalism at this place. Its pretty schlocky. Save your own valuable time and go to someplace that is more reputable, even if it costs a few bucks more. And by the way, Amelia is long gone from this place, so ignore the positives about her. The Bozo at the front desk when I visited is a pure con man.

Save your $ go to a professional shop not a quick oil change station. I shouldve known when they asked me to sign a waiver for the service! I took my wifes vehicle into have a full system flush done and diagnose a noise I was hearing. I told them it was possibly motor mounts. They called me and confirmed it was mounts and serpentine tension er. Reluctantly I authorized the repair as the car was there and we needed it for a trip. They said it would be done by close which it was not. On the good side they did stay until past close to insure my car was done that day. On the down side the job was done very sloppy I had oil all over the engine. It was like they sprayed the fluids everywhere. I had a pool in my battery compartment. They also got it in the carpet on the driver side. The morning after picking the car up my wife got in and the car wouldnt start!. Keep in mind this car has NEVER had a problem at all beyond routine maintenance. Fortunately a neighbor Is very handy and took a look at it. He discovered that the housing that holds the shift cable in place was broken. Basically the shifter was not putting the car into park so it wouldnt start in drive or reverse. Further the car would roll if on any incline. Fortunately our driveway is flat. He managed to rig it together so we could avoid a tow to a real shop. I am all for giving praise to professionals but this is not the case here.

Just got my brakes done at this place Ill start off by saying it was an unexpected day I needed my calibers roaters and pads replaced the total cost was to much for me to afford so I told the members Ill need to come back mind you my calibers were leaking my breaks did not work at all dwayne came up to me and was concerned about me driving home like that so we worked something up to where I could get on the road safe he was the most helpful guy Ive came across the whole staff was awesome and Dwayne was really professional about everything glad hes at the roseville location if any body needs anything done that place will do the job right my brakes work amazing thanks guys.
