Best auto service I have ever had in my lifetime of auto service. Subaru is on top of everything that is happening with your car. Having an assigned service person is wonderful. Lacey is mine and I just love her. The entire staff is customer service oriented. Very efficient, organized and on time. Would never have any other car manufacturer because of them besides loving my Subaru.
We just picked up our 22 Wilderness Edition of the Outback. Subarus newest Special Edition. The car is amazing. Subaru makes a quality car with great fit and finish. But our experience with Rodrick Gregory as out sales rep was excellent. He was honest and clear in his communications. He gave us a price that was very reasonable given the current vehicle market and never once made us feel pressured into anything I recommend that you shop local in Roseville and ask for Rod.

Salesmen Thanh and John the finance-man were so helpful, professional, and pleasant to work with during the process of buying my 2016 Mazda3. I had a rear brake pads replacement done on August 23rd and I was happy with the great service provided Lacy Black, my Service Advisor. She arranged for my free transportation home and she promptly contacted me to pick up my vehicle after job was done. My vehicle was also given a free multi-point inspection and car wash that day.

I was so pleased with buying a car through Roseville Subaru. From the moment I emailed and heard from Corey, to meeting in person, his knowledge of the Outback, his relaxed personality and ease of conversations were over the top! Buying a car is always a little stressful and if you have the wrong kind of Salesman, you can turn away and take your business somewhere else. I live in Elk Grove and that week I did not feel it at the EG Subaru. I was also so surprised that the entire process was done in 2 1/2 hours. Any time we have bought cars at Nissan, it is at least a 6 hour process! I also want to say thank you to Bradley! Both men were nothing but a pleasure to work with. It was funny B/C I brought my 19 yr old daughter and told her that it would be long day. As we were in the signing office she said, “these guys are so nice.” I responded that this was not the norm. Thank you again! We love our Outback!
I have mixed feelings about the whole AutoNation Subaru interactions Ive experienced. On one hand I love my car and have been very happy with it, even if it has had a few factory recalls. This is my first new car every other vehicle I have had previously has been used. I love Subarus! The technician I work with Cody is super helpful and tries his best to be accommodating, friendly, responsive etc. The issues I mainly have is with AutoNation and whoever I deal with on the phone that manages the scheduling. On multiple occasions they have forgot to actually make a reservation, neglected to let me know they were keeping my car overnight and I needed a rental(poor communication skills). I live relatively far from the dealership so its not convenient to go to the dealership and has been a time consuming process. If I would have just bought my car through a regular Subaru dealership I would have been better off because I could have gone anywhere to any Subaru dealership now Im forced to drive to auto nation which I strongly dislike. I had no idea that AutoNation was a super corporation and I can only go to an AutoNation to do anything on my car. So in summary love Subaru but dislike AutoNation. Also none of the employees at Subaru AutoNation did a very good job at Covid protocol. Everyone was very lax about wearing masks and made it pretty clear they choose politics over science. Super disappointing.

They have been so good at servicing my Ascent and have been very responsive to my questions. I remember my overall reaction to the service appointment. I was quite surprised at how efficiently and quickly the work was performed. In the past when I brought in cars I purchased at other dealerships, the work was slow being completed. No mater how early the appointment, it took FOREVER for the work to be completed. I never got the car before mid to later afternoon. The work at the Subaru dealership was done quickly and efficiently. That was a real surprise. I was able to wait at the dealership for the work to be completed and it was done by mid morning. I give it top marks. And my Forrester runs beautifully.

I purchased a used truck here. During the purchase process, everyone was very friendly. I got my truck and I was very happy. The service afterwards has been horrible though. As I owned the truck for a few days I discovered some issues with it. Not all the doors locked, some safety features related to the air bags dont work, there was a ton of goldfish under the rear seat, and I have a weird sound coming from under the truck.None of this was told to me during the sales process.I called and emailed the sales person and dealer multiple times over a few weeks to get some kind of answer to either fix this stuff, or help fix it, and they never answered. They sent me plenty of review emails, but nothing back from the people I contacted. They are just ignoring me.Sales process was fine. But when it comes to afterwards, the company has completely ignored me.I will not be returning to this particular business.Very disappointed in the service after I purchased a truck from them.

I was extremely impressed with the service I received at Roseville Subaru. I waited in the waiting room and found it to be clean and stocked with water, coffee, and tea, and the employees who would visit the station to get beverages were all very helpful and friendly, and everyone was wearing a mask. My service advisor was Cody, and I give him the highest praises. He checked on me frequently, asked if I would prefer to wait or wanted a ride somewhere. He let me know if there was an update to the amount of time my car would be ready, he asked if I wanted to schedule a lengthy software update today. He was incredibly polite and patient with me. This is my second experience with Cod. I highly recommend asking for Cody, I know I will on all my future visits. I am also grateful that they always wash my car!

Disappointed, very disappointed. We go there specifically for a vehicle posted online showing available, oh not there(I understand it may have sold)First disappointment. From there walked the lot for good 10 minutes 15. Nobody approached us. Not a single hello or a nod of acknowledging that we are there. Leave and check other dealers. Came back to discuss another vehicle but had to ask for help. Have a good credit score so being able to purchase was not a problem, but for some reason could not get an answer. Sales associate promised to call next next day, well that was two days ago. Leave a message for the sales manager and same disappointment. Not sure how we got so many 5 stars with my personal experience. We will find another Subaru dealer.
I got my 2018 Subaru Forester towed to AutoNation in the morning and they were able to identify the problem (blown air compressor), fix it, and have it ready for me at 5:00 pm that same day. It was costly, but they were very efficient and kept me updated throughout the process.

Can’t get them to call me back after leaving a voicemail, selecting the call-back option when all lines are busy, and leaving a message with the receptionist when she answered but no one was free to help me. I’ve already been there and it’s a simple fix I asked for. My husband also called and they never called him back, either. I call every 3-5 days and still no follow-through.

We enjoyed the no stress environment for sure everyone was quite pleasing to be around. We wanted a hybrid so why did we chose a crosstrek? We looked at Ford, Honda and Toyota but we chose the Subaru for its all electric capability. The driving my wife does on her commute has a lot of distance of under 65 mph. Though overall the others boast of higher gas mileage the gas mileage we got on the first tank blew them away at just over 50 mpg! Now she is getting set up to charge at work which will boost it even more. If your going to fall in love with it no doubt it might as well be pretty which it is drop dead gorgeous. Everyone was quite helpful in instructing my wife how to operate the basics of the features. I have gladly recommended you already and will in the future.
First time at this facility for an oil change and came out disappointed. An IPhone charger was left out during service and a day later after the service, we noticed the charger being dirty(grease like) and torn at the end of the connection plug. Not cool… don’t expect anything from this, just putting it out there. On top of that, I had an appointment for an oil change and it took over two and a half hours, and was offered a ride home but not a returning ride to the dealership.
Great experience. Our sales person, Meriah, is friendly, confident, helpful and not pushy (which we love.) Even though we didnt make a purchase (the car we wanted to test drive is in service) its been a great experience.

Brought Forester in for 2 recall corrections. I chose to stay until both recalls were done. The processing staff was very polite and courteous. Waiting area was comfortable with 2 tvs and provided refrigerated bottled water anduse of a hot water/coffee machine.The service was completed in about 45 minutes. A great experience over all.
My girlfriend and I absolutely loved the service we received. We have been shopping around for a better vehicle for a while now. We were in the area at a used car lot looking at a vehicle that did not work out due to the vehicle having issues. We took a trip around the auto mall when we found what we wanted. It was late and we were still offered a test drive and then started the paperwork. Our salesman Zen was amazing. We told him what we could do financially and what we did and did not want. He did not try to pressure us into anything and worked hard on this car for us. The next afternoon he called and told us the excellent news we were hoping for and stayed 3 hours late to help finalize the car. 10/10 would go back in the future for vehicles.
Two visits were involved. The first was diagnostic to determine why the seal around the sun roof pulled away from the sunroof perimeter. The second several days later was to install the new seal, that had to be ordered. Cody orchestrated both visits, and he was courteous and concerned about my comfort. The result was minimal time for me waiting both times, and a new seal securely in place, all at minimal cost. I am quite satisfied.
Called for a service appointment. They were fast and efficient with the regular service maintenance and inspection. Able to drive out after a few hours of waiting, they had an accommodating area for me to wait.
Raj in the service department rocks!! I dont have to, but I always call to schedule an oil change and hes able to get me in the same day or first thing the next morning. He informs me on what should be done on my next service, but always gives me the option to do it myself. He even gives me a follow up call a few days later checking to make sure my car is running smooth. hes very down to earth to talk to which is greatly appreciated.

In May I purchased this car and a month and a half later it stopped working I took it to get serviced and they told me it would be $3100 to get it fixed. They kept the car for a week without my knowledge and every time I would call no one would get back to me. It is still having the exact same issues after being “serviced”. I even asked for the service receipt and papers yet they are apparently unable to give me.They sold me a lemon and now I’m stuck with a car that I can’t drive that I still have to pay for. I advise against purchasing with them they are just looking to take your money it’s all a scam DO NOT BUY FROM AUTONATION!
I always get excellent service from Heather and her team. I had a regular service on my new Outback and a repair from our puppy’s incident and all was done beautifully! The staff are sweet with the puppy too, he gets lots of pets, makes it an enjoyable experience visiting.

Well after our horrible and nightmarish experience at Toyota right across the street from Subaru, we went to Subaru and got the most pleasant experience with Alvin. It was a totally different vibe. There was no pressure, and he listened to what I wanted. It was truly an easy transaction. We test drove both the outback and the Forrester. We wound up buying the outback in the color that I wanted. That in itself was hard since there was very little inventory.
Excellent service. Our service rep is very courteous, and reviews the report in detail with us. The car is returned timely, washed and all maintenence points are done! Love my Subaru and its a pleasure getting service work completed!
Thank you AutoNation for a great service appointment.Sadly, I bought my car in 2014, when it was car of the year. But they also had some issues with those cars. Mine has truly been a Lemon. Subaru put a new motor in it to help with the issues. I have had numerous electrical issues too, from the trunk not opening, or windows going up and down issues, since the purchase. One previous appointments, they were not able to duplicate the issue.My dad was in the car business, and he told me that sometimes it is just luck of the draw with anything you buy. I guess I was the unlucky one. My sister also bought a Subaru a couple of years ago, and she has not had a single issue with it.In this one service appointment, they were able to fix 4 or 5 issues I had been experiencing, long term. Such a relief to have a reliable car again. And Jenna was a delight to deal with!

My 2021 Outback broke down on a Sunday while traveling. I had the OB towed to Subaru Roseville and dropped off the keys in the early bird box. The following morning I received a call from Heather. I provided the details on the issue and my situation (traveling). She called me later that day and detailed the issues (one was a non-issue). The other issue was a failed AC compressor, which required ordering. I was traveling back to Arizona later in the week, so the AC required repair. They promised the car would be repaired within two days (allowing for part ordering). The car was delivered as promised. I feel that Heather and the Roseville Subaru team understood my problem and acted promptly to help me.
Have had a Subaru since 2016. Started with a Crosstrek then traded up for an Ascent. For the past 5 years we have been nothing but pleased with sales, finance and of course the service department. Always friendly and helpful. Waiting area is comfortable and dog friendly! You won’t be disappointed.
Worked with Rod (Internet Sales Manager) on purchasing a Crosstrek. Rod and the staff are all excellent and genuine sales people. I would absolutely come here again in the future! There were a couple mistakes, but everything was handled quickly, thoroughly and with our concerns in mind.

I drive a Mazda but the dealership is now closed. So,, Ive been bringing my car to this service department for the past few years. Heather is amazing! In fact, I appreciate the service Ive received so much Ill be shopping for my next vehicle here!
New to the area, first visit, and Cody went out of his way to make me feel wanted. Time estimate to get the work done was spot on.
Ill preface my rating that John Talaga, our sales contact was outstanding. We were buying a use car, cash deal, for our daughters first car. It is because of Finance/management that Im giving them only a three start rating. The sticker price on the car was clear and reflected the year of the vehicle and the no haggle price. After we agreed to purchase the car (cash, no financing needed) it should have been a quick and easy transaction. We were getting ready to pay, and then were informed that Finance/Management said the price was a mistake, and the price on the sticker was incorrect, and that specific price was supposed to be for a car one year older, a 2012 Forester, which coincidentally we did NOT see on the lot. Finance/management said that the 2013 car we were buying was $1,500 more. We found this strange since the sticker on the window clearly showed a 2013 (and not a 2012 year model) and the listed price. John went to bat for us and Finance /management stood by the original price. We paid well over Bluebook even with the original price due to the current state of the used car market, but paying an additional $1500 would have been almost double Bluebook price. Mistake, or opportunity to make more money? Hmmm...John was great, will contact him again in the future if needed.
The advisor I spoke with was cordial, and the key drop off was smooth. Unfortunately, this dealership did not have much options to accommodate my situation (when compared to my previous car in another dealership—they had a loaner service). I was pretty stuck with no car and no way to get around, while my car is in service.

I was having issues with my vehicle and left in in the care of Raj at AutoNation. Raj was able to get my vehicle squared away and back to me, quickly and efficiently, and even had a recall issue taken care of at the same time. When it came time to assess the damage to my wallet, I was pleasantly surprised to find that it was significantly less than I had expected. I will definitely seek their services for any future needs.

First time at this Subaru Roseville and it was a very good experience. We scheduled a routine maintenance that day and Cody was there to accommodate us. The waiting area is clean, fast and free internet for guests, and clean restroom. The service was quick and we were out in less than an hour and a half. We will come back for sure for future maintenance or services.

They make good recommendations and do good work.The extra special part of being a customer at AutoNation Subaru is how I am treated by service associate, Lacey Black. She is an outstanding representative of this dealership. Lacey makes me feel important and cared for and is very knowledgeable about the vehicles at the dealership. She does more than make you feel great about yourself, she remembers my vehicle and what it needs. I waited at the dealership for my car to be serviced this time. But, if I need to get home, AutoNation provides a free shuttle ride to and from the dealership.

What a great experience! Tyler was very helpful, offering to answer any and all questions, and never pushy. We were able to browse at our leisure and take a test drive. I signed a lease for an Outback and the whole process was painless and actually easy. Ill definitely return in the future and highly recommend coming here for you next car!
Easy comfortable buying experience for me of my Subaru Ascent.
Arrived, an initial check-in happened quickly and the service rep was out within a few minutes. Reviewed actions for the day, recall and regular service. No donuts, but understandable with COVID, don’t want everyone’s hands in the box. Overall wait time was three hours, quite reasonable considering there were three services performed. Comfortable seating and was updated as things moved along. Drinks available and the restroom was clean. Overall, an excellent experience.
I have been bringing my car to AutoNation Subaru in Roseville since I moved here a few years ago and even though Elk Grove Subaru is closer to my work and might be more convenient to get my car serviced I will never leave AutoNation Subaru. Jason and Heather have always been fantastic about working with me when my Outback needed some extra TLC and the process of getting a loaner or rental has always been seamless. The service department really does go the extra mile to keep people coming back. As much as I tell my wife that Ill drive my Outback until the wheels fall off - and I know Autonation Subaru will do whatever they can to keep the car going - when it comes time to get a new Subaru I will absolutely do it through them.
Ive always had good experiences here. Never felt talked down to as a woman, never felt overcharged. Nice waiting room with coffee, nice people.
Reps were excellent! Answered all questions. Ready when they said it would be ready. Washed and vacuumed also. Service was best of any Ive seen. All around great job.

First time taking my car in here and had a great experience. I brought my car in on account of all of its lights going on, and I had been told by another shop that my car (that i had just got) was potentially a done deal and that I would need a brand new transmission that would be worth more than my car’s value. Heather and the team did some digging and found that my car was salvageable and got it going again! I wouldn’t trust to take it any place else going forward. Heather was honest and really determined to help get it fixed. I really appreciate the team’s work!
I went in to get an oil change. I called earlier in the day to see if I needed an appointment and was told I could come in for this service without one. I arrived in the afternoon and was greeted promptly when I pulled up. My advisor was Lacey Black, she was very kind and knowledgeable. The service didnt take long at all and when she came to find me to tell me it was done, she said it was FREE! Puzzled, I thought she was kidding, but then explained to me that because they were experiencing a busier day she would like to cover the charge for the service. Great experience again at Subaru Roseville. Thank you so much!
The staff is friendly and they offer to wash my car. Once, they let me drive home in a different model while my car was being worked on. I am glad to get service here. And The consistent and timely service makes it easy to return every time.
The dealership has been fine to deal with for the most part. Purchasing a certified Outback was smooth but I was surprised to get a bill for bridge toll 5 months after I traded my previous car into the dealership. The company did send me a proof of the sale so I wasn’t held responsible for the toll charge. The first time I took my car in for a minor repair They asked that I leave it overnight. I did. When I picked up the car the next day, most of the items inside had been stolen. The car was left unlocked all night. The company did reimbursed the costs of replacement items but it was on me to shop for the items and to submit receipts. I thought a discount on a future service would have been a nice offer for inconvenience. The services rendered have been good so far.One major complaint I have is the difficulty in getting through to the dealership by phone. I have always had to leave a message and wait for a call back. This seems to standard operating procedure.One recommendation: we purchased a certified vehicle and because it came from out-of-state we bought an extended warranty and I recommend that a person never, ever paid the initial price quoted for a vehicle warranty. They will reduce the price.
