UPDATE: Left a message for Brian on his cell number below about two weeks ago and have not heard back.ORIGINAL: The best thing I can say is that the guy showed up. Eventually. 45 mins past the window, he comes in and within 2 minutes is telling me that hes only here for the paycheck. Shakes the fridge and immediately tells me theres nothing he can do about the rattling compressor. After 15 more minutes of complaining about his life he charges me $150 for a Diagnostic Fee and says hes sorry that I bought a bad fridge. I will never go here again for help of any kind.

Do not deal with this company. They schedule a repair and then the tech doesn’t even show up. You call back and schedule again in which your waiting another 2 weeks for them to call at 2:30pm and tell you they don’t have a tech in your area that day. This has happened twice now and my refrigerator still isn’t repaired. LG was supposed to send a tech and gave me an appointment date and time and nobody showed up. When I called I was told nothing had been scheduled and it must have been a computer glitch. Avoid LG products at all costs as they do not stand behind or repair their products.

When I call to try to remedy this I was very polite, asked to speak with a supervisor multiple times, the agent would not give me one, and then hung up on me. I would never use this company again. Look elsewhere.

I mistakenly wrote a review on the wrong A&E. A&E Factory service is a different company, apologize for the initial review. They are giving you a bad name. Had 4 no-shows for appointments. My sincere apologies.

Our refrigerator stopped cooling 2 days before a big dinner we were hosting. I called A&E which is our go to place for any appliance parts or service. Dave got me into the full schedule and John arrived an hour after I called. A fan was replaced and all was back to normal. A&E is the BEST!

A&E was able to send a service tech to fix my washer in a really responsive timeframe - they fit my needs into their schedule!! Technician was knowledgeable (reviewing the problem with me & showing me the repair part), professional, pleasant & considerate (he even turned off the basement lights behind him…)! Highly recommend them!!

If you were like me, you like to fix things, rather than throwing them out and buying another (not cheap, Im frugal). Its a shame that other people dont know you can replace parts (circuit boards, knobs, motors, etc.), keep your older appliances working, and not have to buy new.A&E has [or can get] the small parts that make your appliances work again. Their staff is always helpful, and the shop is easy to get to from anywhere.

One service man made me feel very violated. He would not leave. This evaluation is on this visit. I called and told them he is not to service my appliances again. He was back in about 3 weeks. His hair was changed and i even asked him if he had been here before, hevstated no. I got his name and truck number and hevwas the same guy. The firsst time i called my daughter to come over. When he knew someone was coming he left. The second time i stayed outside until i had ti check dryer. I called back andvtold them to make sure he did not come back if he does i will call police.

Always have the parts I need to fix any appliance. They ve also asked a couple quick questions to make sure I was getting the right part to solve the problem.

Called them up to fix my refrigerator which broke down over the weekend. They scheduled me for the next day, but were able to work some things around and I got same day service!! They diagnosed the problem, went back to the shop and installed the part within an hour! Pricing is reasonable. I will defiantly be using them again!

Waited almost A month for my Microwave/oven, called 4 times! They never returned my calls. Finally they say its $250 bucks to get it fixed. I said forget it, but I want it back, I get here and the thing is still not put together, and they cant remember talking to me! How unprofessional! I have used them in the past thru DTE Appliance coverage, they were great, well NOT anymore

A&E/Sears contracted to service my microwave on 9/21/20. Ordered part to be installed on 10/7/20. No show from them . Office person clueless regarding service. Choice Home Warranty informed. They never received any update from A&E/Sears. Im very disappointed with them. A phone call, text or some form of communication would have been nice. I would not recommend them based on lack of communication.

The service man came out when expected. He ordered parts to repair my microwave. Then set a return appointment for the repair. The parts arrived yo my home. However on the return date no one showed up or called. Very disappointed. Still have heard nothing from them and still have no microwave.

My washing machine broke and i was going to just buy a used one. Then i called A & E Appliance and they were all booked up on the next day. However i was about to go out of town and i really needed this taking care of ASAP. The lady i spoke with was very nice she said i will see what i can do. She called me back and made me a last minute appointment for the next day. The Repairman was very nice and fast. He fixed it in no time and it was very reasonable. Thank you very much.

I would absolutely recommend A & E Appliance for your repair needs. I had a glass cooktop that shattered on Christmas Eve,the following Monday I went to the store and the guys at the front desk were very friendly and eased my stressed mind. Within 7 days my glass was shipped to the store.My tech was Brian and hands-down he is the BEST. Although I wasnt able to get the glass installed due to the way the previous homeowners installed the cooktop and the age(Brian used arm muscle trying to remove the part)it was best determined to purchase a new cooktop. I appreciate his effort and honesty. Brian explained what I should look for when purchasing cooktop and if I had any questions to call him. If this isnt above any beyond, I truly appreciate the whole A&E Team.

This place is fantastic! If they dont know how to fix it, it should be thrown out! I have been going here for a long time with my father when i was a youngster to get the right parts and service. It is the first and only place I turn to for appliance service. Keep up the great work gentlemen!

A & E Appliance Parts & Service came out to fix my washing machine as it no longer agitated properly. The technician was Cliff, he arrived as scheduled and was polite, courteous & professional. He listened as I explained the problem, he ran a few tests on the washer then he got to work. He had the replacement parts on his truck, and within 15 min. my washer was working great. I am very satisfied with A & E Appliance Parts & Service and will definitely call them again should the need arise. I Highly Recommend them.

Ive had 2 different technicians at my house a total of 4 times and my lemon of a washer (8 month old GE) still isnt fixed. Neither technician took the time to thoroughly check to see if the washer was actually working properly before declaring it fixed and taking off, resulting in me having to spend another hour on the phone with GE, and another week to two weeks before getting another appointment each time. After six weeks without a working washer, I finally had to bite the bullet and buy a new washer, accepting that GE, A & E, and Home Depot will do nothing to remedy the situation. I guess corporations dont get rich by accepting responsibility for their mistakes.This will be the last time I buy an appliance from a big box store with 3rd party servicing.

This A&E Appliance Parts and Service is a local SE Michigan company and while I have never used their services, I applaud the owner for reaching out to let me know that I had reviewed the wrong company.

Had our refrigerator ice maker repaired 8/13/19. The technician was knowledgeable about fridges and how to repair them and was great overall. However, out invoice stated that we were charged a $99 diagnostic fee and labor for about 30 minutes of service was $190. The only charge that was reasonable was the $79 for the actual part we needed. I would not recommend A& E simply due to the high service cost. I never imagined i would be going in such debt to get the fridge repaired.

Had to wait for a part but once it came in the serviceman was there, quickly got the job done and was gone. Will definitely call A&E again for service.

Literally the only appliance parts store in town, helpful staff has helped troubleshoot problems. Usually most parts in stock got a normally stocked part they were out of the next day.

These guys have a bad attitude in general. Their Take it or leave it attitude really stinks. Not to mention their HIGHLY over priced parts. Example: I needed a water inlet valve for a washing machine, over the phone one guy quotes me a price of $24, I get there not an hour later and the other guy there tries charging me $36 for the same part that mind you sells for $10-$14 on Amazon. I ended up buying it for the $24 because it was an emergency fix for someone else. Another example of their price gouging is the corner seals for a dishwasher. They tried charging me $23 EACH for them. They sell for $10-$14 a PAIR on Amazon. Talk about price gouging. Another part I checked pricing with them was the door closing cam/door riser cam for my refrigerator(its a little, and I do mean LITTLE 3/4x1 1/2 plastic piece that makes your refrigerator door close on its own when the door is partially open), they qouted me $24.95 for ONE. I got a PAIR of them off Amazon for $4.87 including tax. Now I would definitely call that price gouging. I could understand a couple or a few dollars more, but twice the price on the water inlet valve, and then the guy tried charging me another $12 on top of a price I was quoted. The dishwasher seals, 4x the price! The refrigerator door riser cams, 10x the price!!! I would say to avoid this place for parts unless its an absolute emergency.

A&E made a dozen trips to my house before they were able to fix my Sears Oven/Microwave Combo Unit (Sears Kenmore Elite). The people are polite, but their ability to perform a repair properly the first time doesnt meet expectations.Today, I had to have A&E come to my house again. This time for a refrigerator (another Sears Kenmore Elite product). The compressor in the refrigerator went bad after 3 years of use and all the food went bad. Fortunately, I still have a protection policy. Unfortunately, it brings A&E back to my house and todays repair performance reminds me of what they did with the oven/micro referenced above. They have scheduled another trip for my house for 2 weeks from now. In the meantime, I dont have a working refrigerator.If anybody from A&E (or Sears) Management see this, then please contact me.

Have been waiting three weeks already for a repair on my washer. First visit was on 5/25, problem was diagnosed and parts were shipped out for an appointment on 6/1. On 6/1, the repair van arrived at my house (I was sitting on the porch and watched), then left without even coming to the door. When we finally got ahold of someone, the technicians flat out lied, saying that their van had broken down (despite driving to and from my house no problem). The next available appoint wasn’t for another 13 days. Fast forward to today, 6/13 the scheduled date, and I get a text rescheduling for the 25th, without any explanation. I have now cleared two days on my schedule and have had no service rendered. What a horrendous way to operate a business that fixes necessary appliances.

Ive visited twice for replacement parts and the prices are good and I got a quality replacement both times. Once they had to order it, and they promptly called me when it was in stock. If you need parts for your appliances and youre a do it yourself person, this is where to go. I havent used them for service, so I have no comment on their in home service.

Over a month dealing with this place for a refund. Tech diagnosed wrong, ordered wrong part. Then the part that came was bad. Keep getting reps tell me the refund in the process 7 to 14 days, initially told 30 days. Well its been over a month. Horrible service. Disappointing to say the least.

Had a washer problem and called A&E Appliance Service in Roseville. When the repairman arrived, he looked at the washer and started explaining all the buttons to me and how I should operate it. He then said I need new bearings and they would have to order parts. I asked him if he wasnt going to examine the washer and he yelled at me and said whats the matter, dont you trust me. He was very angry. I went into another room to get my charge card to pay for the deposit required to order the parts. When I came back, he had lifted the washer up and put my good towels that were in the laundry room to be washed underneath and dragged the washer out on them. I was appalled and upset that he wouldnt just ask me for a towel before he did that. I asked if there wasnt another repairman that could come out next time. He laughed and informed me that he was the washer guy and I was stuck with him. After he left, I called the company and was told that the owner was not in and would be back in a few days. I left a message for a call back. No one called and after 10 days, I called the company to see when someone would be out to fix the washer. I was informed that they refunded the deposit and that the crabby washer guy felt uncomfortable and would not be coming back. After using this company for years, I will never call them for anything.In response to owners comments below: Too bad, they cant blame this one on A&E Factory. The owner never returned my first call and the gentleman that I spoke to was very nice and all I did was leave a message for the owner to call me. There was never a return call, so when I called the second time 10 days later, the gentleman informed me that no one would be out and he again was very nice and professional. Dont know where all the screaming came in, because I have never talked to the owner, and apparently he has no desire to hear my side of the story. Im positive that the man I talked to on the phone never said I screamed at him. Cant say what the crabby washer guy may have said. I stand by my review!

If I could leave a zero I would. No concern or care for customer time. I have had to take time off work 3 times to get repair on my 11 month old LG dryer. The second appointment window was 1-5, they showed up at 9 pm only to discover they needed another part. The next appointment, also 1-5, they never showed up at all, and I missed my daughters 13th birthday dinner because we had been without a dryer for 3 weeks and my family of 5 is desperate. No one even called to say they were not coming, they just sent me a text cancelling the appointment at 9pm!!!! and rescheduling it for 1-5 the next day. I could not take more time off. They refuse to guarantee showing up at my house early for the next appointment, so I imagine I will be wasting most of my precious Saturday waiting on this company. I am utterly livid!

Thanks again to A & E appliances in Roseville. Brian was very knowledgeable very courteous and very professional and very patient with me as well. He help me get my refrigerator back up and running thanks a lot Brian I really appreciate Your Help. Big thanks to all the other guys in the store keep up the good work.

Cliff showed up on time, after calling to let me know he was on his way. I could tell that he was very knowledgeable about my brand of washer. He was quick, efficient, explained everything to me, and my expectations were fully met. I had never used this company before, but they will be my go-to appliance repair company if I ever need service in the future. The company was recommended to me & I will do the same. I follow the adage, You get what youre willing to pay for. Cliff had to come out twice because my washer is a discontinued model and the company did not have the part in stock. He came first thing this morning (Saturday), yet there was no extra charge for coming back at MY convenience. I am doing a load of laundry at the moment. Everything is working great. I am so relieved.

Excellent Service! At 11:00am i called with my washing machine issue. A series of questions were asked. I was then informed that someone would be at my house prior to 2:00pm. At 1:00pm, Cliff arrived. Cliff was wonderful, kind and explanatory. Not only did he fix my washing machine, the price was reasonable and he shared with me a few wise tips for using detergent, fabric softeners, etc. wish there were more people like Cliff in the world!

The technician was fast and friendly. He had the part he needed to fix my stove right in his truck. No issues. I’d definitely call them again.

Technician had to come back to redo the repair since he didnt check to make sure was completed on first visit. Did not follow CDC guidelines or wear proper PPE. Was very rude and unwilling to do what I was told he was supposed to. Will not use A &E again nor would I refer them to others.
