Amazingly friendly people who went above and beyond when I bought the cheapest vacuum in the store. They re-cleaned it and put a new belt on before I bought it, and gave me a spare belt free of charge. They showed me how to use it and maintain it, then sent me out with a better vacuum than I couldve gotten at a big box store and and at a lower price. I could keep going--THATS how great this vacuum place is!(Pictures are before and after; keep in mind I spent maybe 7 minutes vacuuming, so if something was missed in the after, blame me. The vacuum is great.)

I stopped in with my old broken down Oreck thinking it was ready for the garbage can. I was pleasantly surprised when the super awesome guy that works there fixed it with in 10 minutes, fair price. I will definitely go back.Thank you A-1 Vacuum

I could not open the filter cover on my upright Hoover.I called around being told that I could leave it and incur a minimum service charge. The other place that said to stop in could not open the cover and proceeded to try and sell me a new machine.At A-1, they showed me the trick on how the mechanism works, then when I offered to buy replacement bags for their lesson, he asked you do have bags at home.I purchased the bags and will return for any additional purchases.A business geared towards retaining customers for the long term.Genuinely nice people.Highly recommended.

What great service! I have a Shark vacuum cleaner that had a broken hose. I found out Sharks are not meant to be repaired but replaced when I contacted other dealers. Much to my surprise, A-1 said to bring it in & they may be able to use a generic replacement hose to repair & it was successful! Timely repair & kind service, not to mention the great store mascot doggy. 😊 I will certainly be back when I purchase a new vacuum!

Arrived at A-1 Vacuum just as they were closing. Russ was coming out the door and asked what did we need. I said I was looking for a replacement hose assembly for my Bissell. I gave him the part number and had my part in less than 10 mins. Russ went the extra mile to save my day!! Can’t wait to have them punt in my new house canister system! Thanks again!

Took a Dyson vacuum in for repair and unfortunately it cost more to fix than it was worth. They were very helpful and explained my options and gave me a great deal on a Miele floor model. Very nice staff and family owned customer service mindset. I am glad I found them.

He worked on my vacuum, including splicing wires & it still wouldnt work (not his fault, but the manufacturers). He gave me suggestions & evenoffered me a new one. Then, he didnt even charge me because he couldnt get out to work. Weekday a great business!

Good service found a hard to find part

Knowledgeable staff/family that was very helpful to replace one of the most used appliances in a house (or should be!) Came here since many dept/big box stores seem only to carry low to to “mid” range vacuums that all seem to be competing for the lowest bar on quality. Is was nice to be able to power them on to get actual impression of the device(s).I had given it a 50/50 chance we would buy a Miele, after some research online we wanted to get into the store and be able to poke, prod, use and having a conversion with the staff helped make it an easy decision. We came out of A-1 feeling good about the purchase with them.

Gina helped me purchase a vacuum and she made the process quick and easy. I explained my needs and was able to take home the vacuum that day. I also inquired about replacing parts on an old vacuum and Gina was more than happy to track them down for me. I realize the parts were a pain in the butt to source, her willingness to help was exceptional customer service! I love supporting family businesses and highly recommend this company.

Over the past 20yrs. Ive had dealings with A1 for personal & business needs. They steered us to exactly what we needed for a central vac system that lasted til we moved 18yrs later & may still be working. Even though we now live approx. 70miles 1-way I still go to them.The reason Im rating now is I recently had an emergency & you all deserve my thanks.I professionally groom pets & my commercial high volume dryer quit (before I got my back up one in for repair) i dropped off both on a Sat. & asked if @all possible if I could get one of them back by the next wed would be great or even the following Friday I could make due.BY WED. THEY HAD ONE DONE FOR ME!THANK YOU ALL !I was able to get by with a smaller blower til then on the little pets but theres no way I could do a larger double coated dog that was scheduled unless I had one back.Great counter service immediately able to understand my issues.. great service!And I got to meet Bubba!Thanks

These people are amazing. I was actually referred by another vacuum company that didnt want to deal with my Dyson cordless vacuum repair that was covered under warranty. I was sad and frustrated and drove to Roseville with very low expectations. When I went in and talked to the lady behind the counter I was so pleasantly surprised. She was beyond helpful and extremely friendly. She fixed my vacuum FREE of charge and I have been a loyal customer ever since. I truly love this place. I regret not knowing the name of the fellow who helps me out there but man is he a rare find in sales and customer service these days. I bought a Miele vacuum here a few years ago when we became alarmed at the level of lead in our home and started learning about the potential risks for our one year old. We had an old Kirby vacuum at the time and it always stunk up the place after we ran it. I did so much research on vacuums to ensure we would get one that would keep the content where it belonged once in the bag and would not re-exhaust causing lead dust or allergens to fly. We also wanted a tried and true quality product that would last. The gentleman who helped me sort out what would be the best fit for us then, was the same dear gentleman who answered the phone and greeted my 3 year old daughter and I tonight just before closing to help us out. Such a satisfying experience that is so detrimentally rare these days.I was back today to get refill bags (my first refill box after my original purchase just over 2 years ago). I could not be happier with our vacuum, its performance, our experience shopping and making a decision at A-1 or the customer service we continue to receive.It is such a fortunate experience to be able to go somewhere in our neighborhood, that is trustworthy, knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, and enjoyable to do business in person, walking out with a product right then and there that I feel 100% about and backed by…in our disposable, save a buck at any cost, once removed, on line everything world. And, to know I am supporting a local long time family run business is all the more fulfilling.It always comes back to the simple things that are most profound in life. Saddened by our experience with A-1. We bought a re-conditioned vac, less some parts that come with it. Only to return home and after plugging the model into google to find the same exact model for the same price we bought the reconditioned one for. We will chalk it up to our own inexperience, but I still think some shame is earned by their saleslady.

Loved the personal assistance I got from Phil. Very knowledgable and provides great demonstrations and explanations. Never in a hurry giving very friendly personalized service.He helped me select a lightweight canister a Miele Compact C1. I use it both for home and my home cleaning business. Ive used it for 2 months with fairly high satisfaction. The instruction manual is not very clear. I did not know how to attach and fit the universal dusting brush to the wand. I made a trip to see Phil and he demonstrated. Im not that fond of how tight and sort of cumbersome it is to attach the brush so it may not be used much. I prefer quick easy on -easy off fittings. The HEPA bag filled in 1 month with approx 10 uses! A testament to just how much this device sucks up. The power head and floor brush are very efficient. Having 3 attachments mounted to outside of unit is very handy. A few other attachments that came with it however I have to carry in a bag. The canister unit is very maneuverable and easy to carry. The power head is heavy and can be difficult to use on stairs especially the vertical side. But it cleans like a champion! I would have preferred a 6 ft longer power cord. I end up using an extension cord with most all uses. I had a warranty issue already that I received a replacement part for. Mysteriously, I would get lint balls caught in the extension tube. I discovered the power cord was visible inside the tube. Yes, a defect and they happily replaced it for me in the store. The replacement tube however did not fully extend. I did discover this when I tried it at the store....good thing or I would have made another trip for another a replacement of a replacement. I found a nice way to fragrance the return air by applying essential oils to a piece of cotton and vacuuming it up. Once in a while a nice scent wafts out of the unit.

Incompetent. They replaced our power nozzle neck. It made a ratcheting sound. They said to bring it back. We did. They told us another part was broken and they fixed it with more money due. The original ratcheting sound is still there.
