Favorite place to get a quick hair cut! Great stylists with good conversation!

I was given a mullet and now I had to cut my beautiful hair off to fix it. My hair was literally cut one length too far beyond my ears in the back, then my long hair left, giving me a mullet when all I wanted was a touch up to my current layers. Now I have short hair for the first time in decades after trying for years to grow my hair out. Another hair stylist explained to me that happens if you aren’t trained properly on how to separate the front layers from the back layers. I mean, an entire middle layer section of my hair was gone and I was told I had to style my natural curls out it to make it “appear” . Do not go to the short girl with glasses who has been cutting for awhile, she is not trained properly and I’m very disappointed Fantastic Sams does not check their employees for how well they are trained .

I asked for a very simple cut. She butchered it. I asked for a slight fade from a 1 - 2 on my sides. She did it, but it was extremely uneven and it seemed as though she was cutting my hair for the first time ever and with no prior experience. I asked for a but longer than finger length and AT FIRST she did that. But she then proceeded to trim it down about a quarter inch. She also decided that instead of listening to me she would also buzz a little bit around the top of my head to “better shape it.” I also asked for my sideburns to to be trimmed and she couldn’t do that. I am extremely unimpressed and I could never, for the life of me recommend this place to ANYONE. I can’t believe you hire somebody that doesn’t even know how to do a very simple haircut.

My son had a minor meltdown while getting his hair shampooed. Bri and Iliana were great with him and very accommodating. The haircuts were great also. Nice job ladies!

Do not recommend this location. Waited 45 mins for a haircut then told to wait 30 more minutes while one stylist standing around on her phone. Management needs to make sure shifts are covered and everyone is working appropriately.

I moved to MN a year ago and have been coming to this salon. Ive been lucky with all the stylists. Lately Ive been seeing Phet pronounced Pet. She is absolutely great. I have really stubborn hair that doesnt want to lift with any volume of bleach. She is very attentive to her clients needs. She is beyond patient with my hair and my insistence on being blonde even though nature is trying to tell me to give it up already. I highly recommend this salon!

Always had good service here. Usually a short wait too. The staff has always greeted me with a smile and they have been very friendly.

Did a very good job cutting my hair. Most barbers these or hair stylist dont even know how to properly cut a guys hair, pretty straight forward common fade, but the stylist here did a great job and didnt hurry through it. Definately come back again.

So, just tried to have an hair cut at this location, there was only one person in the waiting area, but they still gave me a 90 minutes wait time. This location is a no go ever, for me.I really hate to say this, but this has happened to me before at a different Fantastic Sams, and my gut is telling me that they use the high wait time, to push away the none white ppl.

I like going to Fantastic Sam for my favorite hair dresser works there and he does a great job on my hair.

Im one of the pickiest people in the world when it comes to getting all my hairs cut. Yes, even as a dude! Thankfully, after many years of searching for a solid place to get my pampering on, the Rosemount FS was able to help me keep me looking fly for a white guy.In my experience, most stylist butcher even the simplest of hair cuts. I often find myself at home with a scissors fixing things, even after going back asking for their help to make it right. Whole family went in for cuts today, on a busy Saturday. Alicia was great; friendly and quick while giving quality cuts to my wife and me.Susie, who cut my four year olds hair, was right out rude. It was obvious she didnt want to do a child cut and was snippy from the start. She was annoyed that he wanted to sit on my lap for the cut and continually commented how much easier it could be if he would sit in the booster, even though he sat perfectly still and the entire cut took five minutes. She rolled her eyes when I asked that she not use the buzzer and insisted on using it at the end.Unfortunately, the positive experience we had with our cuts was over shadowed by the horrible service Susie provided. Think it might be time she retired...

Not knowledgeable about their own color line. Got my hair done 8 months ago by them and the individual who was going to do told me they wont do my hair. Extremely disappointed.

I have been there several times. i have had one really great cut, the last 2 times have been a disaster.the 2nd to last one, the gal instead of putting in long layers, cut a blunt cut all the way around for a 2nd layer, the last girl was going to fix it, and was supposed to cut it, she forgot to cut it when her boyfriend arrived, she did not have a comb, only a pic to show she that she had fixed the layers that the last girl incorrectly cut.I thought when i left it was almost impossible that she cut it in 15 minutes and washed it, and there was hardly any hair left on the floor. Also i was kept waiting for 20 minutes while no one was in the store, one lady was processing, the other girl who was up to cut my hair was in the back. When i arrived she said no one was ahead of me, so i would be right away, she swept up the last client, chatted with her friend, wondered when the next stylists were coming in, then went in the back. There appeared to be 2 open stylist.i vowed that that was the last time i would set foot in that store.
