I call for appointment and I got it for next day. My flute was repaired and tested in 15 minutes. Excellent service, friendly and very reasonable price. Definitely I will back.

I brought my son clarinet to Scott and he fixed it on the spot. Scott is very responsive and professional. Price is very reasonable. We will definitely pass on the good words to other band members.

Scott always comes through with great repairs and maintenance that holds up against all the wear and tear on my saxophones. I have been using his services for years now and recommend him all the time. Hes a great person to talk shop with while he works on your precious tools of the trade. Scott is not only a talented technical repair guy, but he can play a mean sax, too. He apparently can now fabricate parts as well, so a bonus if you are looking to customize your axe.

Edit- so he is actually my ex now.. and even though I dont really like him that much anymore, everything I said in my review is still accurate. Ugh. You wont find a better repair person.Scott is truly amazing at what he does. Ive never seen someone so in tune with an instrument. He knows exactly what to do to make a wind instrument see its full potential, and then surpass it. His years of schooling, being a professional musician, and being a repairman have turned him in to a person that clients come from all over the place to see. He only does amazing work and you never have to worry about him giving you a horn back that youre not happy with. Plus, he always makes sure to playtest it with you when hes giving it back to make sure its fine tuned to your liking. Oh and the best part is.. hes halarious! I look forward to having him fix the instruments I beat up for years to come

I am a working professional in the LA area and have been taking all my woodwinds to Scott for years. I have never been disappointed with his work or his integrity. Scott is very meticulous and extremely reasonable in his pricing. And he has a great sense of humor which is rare among music repairmen.

I wish I never brought my sax here. :(*WATCH OUT!*Had my sax for over a month!!!! Was supposed to be a 2week job. Never contacted me - at 3weeks I called him and he started pulling this a couple more days thing. Then after several days of that he finally said it was done and ready to pick up, and arranged a time to come get it - and the morning of our appointment he canceled again!!! That was yesterday.DO NOT BRING YOUR INSTRUMENT HERE!*Im a saxophone teacher, by the way.Better to go anywhere else - anywhere.I am warning you all.*This morning about an hour ago I finally got the saxophone back. And only because I was forced to have to seriously threaten him with coming down with police to get my saxophone out of his possession.After more than 1month, with only a 2week estimated wait, HE NEVER EVEN STARTED WORK! I honestly cannot believe this. The sax is in the same condition as when I dropped it off. My clarinet repair person would never ever be like this. Ive never had anything like this from anyone, except here.He said directly to me on the phone several days ago that he had already finished most of the work and was just was getting keys back on lining that up.HE WILL ACTUALLY LIE TO YOU!After threatening to come down with police if he canceled the appointment again, instead of continuing to blow me off, he decided to drive to my house & leave the sax behind our gate. He was literally just holding the saxophone away from me for a month when I could have dropped it off with real professionals somewhere and have had it back nice & fixed weeks ago.*This is not a storefront, this literally is just the one repair guy working out of his garage.* Which is fine, but hes coming off as a storefront. That address listed is his house, he works there.Wont fix your instrument if its a big project, will just keep blowing it off.This is not a legitimate repair place for gigging or teaching professionals nor for serious students.I wished none of this happened. I really really wish I never brought my sax here. I wanted to find a good legit repair tech. This is NOT that. NOT AT ALL.

I met Scott just earlier today and he seems like a great guy. I brought my trombone in for minor repairs and he had it ready to take home in no time. He charged very little relative to the quality of work and gave me some great advice on maintaining my tormbone for the future. If you do want to bring your instruments in for repair, please call ahead of time so you dont drop in unexpectedly like I did and interupt his other projects.
