Hit a jackpot with this Thorntons. Surprised to find a very nice and welcoming and accommodating cashier. Kudos to management for having exceptional staff and empowering them, unlike some other Thorntons. Store was nice and clean and customers were being taken care of in a timely manner. Property outside was well kept as well.

What happened to this country ? Capitalist greed . Spend 5$ there and asked for cup of ice and was told it’s an extra 55 cents . I know if I owed a place I’d take the 50c hit and let a customer go with being happy . What happened to leave a penny take a penny mentality ?

I also posted to Facebook about this location...First of all, WHY would you have a photo of the back of the building on your web page??? You cant even tell it is a Thorntons... so lame.This is by far the worst gas station I have been to anywhere, and I travel around a lot in IL, WI, IN. I have been complaining about this location for a few years now. The local management couldnt care less about my opinion, and I cant be the only one. I also contacted corporate a few times and filed complaints on this location. Obviously nothing gets done. The worst thing is when you pull up and desperately need to clean your windows, and the washer station is dry, or filled with garbage, or the thing stinks like sewage. Today I was told we had 8 cases of washer fluid and we are out. You should have a FULL PALLET at any location during this kind of weather, for store use and for sale. NO EXCUSES. I will no longer patronize this location, or maybe any Thorntons for that matter.

Would leave 0 stars but Google wont let that. Very dissatisfied and disappointed by how an employee made a derogatory comment about my face covering. I had on a 2nd amendment face mask/bandanna and an older guy maybe late 40s early 50s said oh haha you gotta watch out for these 2nd amendment guys, never know when someones going to pull it out. I feel discriminated against because of my face covering. I will never do business there again. If the owner cares and wants to know who the employee was it was around 4pm 11-30-20. Could have been slightly before and it could have been slightly after. White guy.

Thornton’s is my favorite gas station. Gas prices are reasonable, they always have Diet Mountain Dew on tap, and they stock fresh doughnuts daily. The new Boston Creme Long John is so good.

Gordon has been a wonderful fixture there for 20 years. Restroom is always good.

The older red headed lady cashier is terrible I walk up to the counter to pay for my drink, she is standing at the door smoking a cigarette. She notices me and continues to smoke for another minute. I mean come on its already illegal what she was doing, but then also making me feel like a hassle in her day is so disrespectful Im disgusted by her actions.

I dont know about the gas, but when I call and ask about a price and the guy tells me he cant give me the price, I mean, what is that all about?! Whats so secretive about the price of a pack of cigarettes? I think thats POOR customer service not to give the price of something you sell every single day
