This is a small store but normally well stocked. Prices appear to be full retail but they have items many stores dont have right now. ie. gun powders, primers, assorted ammo, etc.

The store is very good and has a big variety of fishing gear. One of the best fishing store I have went to.

Decent shop just wish there was something comparable near by to put them in check on thier prices. They tend to be any where from 5 to 50 dollars more expensive than any place else but they are the nearest place that has everything under one roof so i trade there a good bit

Don’t do business with these people. Over priced, $40 for 20 rounds of steel casing 9mm. What a joke. Outrageous addition fees when using credit card. They lost my business and anyone I know I’ll advise to stay away.

After making some very bad purchases (for way too much money) at a Big Box sporting goods store on firearms, we finally looked at home and thankfully found Country Sportsman. The salesman who helped us with our purchase of a rifle and a handgun was refreshingly honest and knowledgeable and extremely helpful. They have amazing prices, especially compared to the bigger stores and the pawn shops. They have a huge selection of firearms as well. Im confident that if you need something for any outdoor sports or hobbies, they likely have it. Were not super knowledgeable about hunting and infrequently go fishing, but they have tons of stuff for both as well. We plan to purchase another handgun soon and well definitely be making our purchase there. Well also be recommending them in the future. No need to drive to Atlanta or Chattanooga, just head down the Alabama HYW.

My order was received in three days. The Drake pullover was of great quality but was too small for my grandson who had grown 2 sizes. I make a phone call and returned the pullover, and in two days I received the new pullover. I couldnt believe out quickly this was turned over. I was very pleased andmy grandson was also. Had a good selection of certain hunting and fishing supplies. Was looking for a crossbow string and the customer service representative said that they did not carry them anymore. That was sad but sent us in the right direction to a person that deals with crossbow strings.

I like to go by and window shop. I usually buy from another place with lower prices. The kid who works the counter fancies himself a gun expert. Maybe he is but a little maturity might do wonders for him.

Dont expect much after the sale. My problem started out with a New Beretta shot gun. The problem with the firearm had nothing to do with anything the Country Sportsman had done but, was a manufactures defect. The store representative got down right rude about returning the shotgun. I wasnt mad at any one about buying a defective A400 I just wanted what I paid for to work. Beretta made it good. But I shouldnt have been subjected to a sales persons discourtesy when he really didnt have a clue about what he was talking about. Maybe they should take a step back and take advise from a customer under advisment. Some of us may just know a little bit more than they do about firearms, they may not be the experts they think they are just because they work in a sporting goods store.

There really not that bad. They gave me full $350 for a masterpiece arms 5×7, I only payed $390 taxes and all for. On the other hand I also bought an AK-47 from them, It was nuthin but problems!!!!! They sent it back for repairs. It took 16 weeks before heard anything back form them!!!!! Then took another 13 or 14 weeks to get my gun back!!!!! They just ended up giving me a brand new gun. which is great, but I wish they had done it a little sooner. So after saying that, they never really done me wrong or cheated me.

I purchased Leupold scope from Country Sportsman via ebay...Returned it because of finish issues, even though the scope did arrive in sealed box...(dont know, but suspected it may have been unadvertised factory blemish)They determined there was nothing wrong, it just needed to be wiped off...(have pics if anyone doubts)I was charged over $80 restocking fee on a $549 purchase, not counting the $17 it cost me to return it... even though the ad says there may be 15% restocking fee, implying that the fee would apply if item is not returned with all shipping material etc... their response was the shrink wrap was removed... if thats the policy, they should say this somewhere before the sale... if scope was returned with shrink wrap intact, the fee would still have applied because there was nothing wrong with it... if you remove the shrink wrap, fee applies because shrink wrap is removed!In reality there are no circumstances where you will not be charged this fee... by the way, their website says its been hacked when you try to go there!Buyer beware... This was my first and last purchase from country sportsman... there are plenty of reputable firms who dont resort to such tactics...Sorry for Jennifer in the ebay department, she was very friendly and helpful... internet refund manager... not so muchIm the first to say they have a right to any policy they choose, just that the customer should not find out what may be restocking fee means until after the sale...
