I love this store!! Its like a treasure hunt every time I walk in. You can find just about anything in here. Im a mechanic and if I need a tool this is the first place I come to search. If you really want customer service thats great and very hard to find nowadays just ask for Ebony! Ebony is one of a kind when it comes to helping a customer and she takes her job serious as she should! Every time Ive ever dealt with this dazzling young lady, shes always got a smile on her face and is ready to help! There are so many people that could learn from this young lady. If your hands are full shes the one who notices it, comes and takes it for you and puts it behind the counter. Ebony you rock and keep up the great work! I had a great experience with trade it today. I went In to get tablets for my kids for Easter but they didn’t have a variety so decided to get two phones instead. Ebony was nice enough to help us and had extreme patience and took her time with all the questions I had regarding the phones. I was very pleased and can’t wait for my next visit. I will be sure to get her help the next time.

My 1st time ever being there & the staff was extremely helpful and polite and honest. They were very knowledgeable. I knew nothing of the item i wanted to purchase & she told me everything and showed me everything i needed for my game console. Plus everything came to a great price. Def would reccomend to other parents.

I go in here a lot. Every time I go in someone always greets me and they always make sure I know about the deals they have on whatever I happen to be looking at (usually DVDS). Ebony is always very cheerful and personable when I see her, today was no exception. It is always a pleasant experience.

It is an absolutely great experience every time I visit Trade-It. The staff is not only helpful, but always knowledgeable about the current inventory. There is always a great selection, and every product is clearly labelled and priced. Also everything is always reasonably priced. I highly recommend a visit to Trade-It in Rocky Mount, you wont regret it!

I had an item on layaway and I tried to call and find out how much I still owed on it because I was thinking about picking it up at that day. I tried calling for two hours! Eventually I just ended up riding up there and the phone was totally off the hook laying on the counter. We stood there for a few minutes before someone named Stacy came up and asked if she could help. That was the only thing she did nicely. I told her I had an item on layaway she looked it up for me, while she was looking it up I mentioned that Id tried calling for 2 hours and I pointed at the phone just laying on the counter. Stacy didnt look up or respond to that at all. After that she just had an attitude, she told me I owed more than I really did. I contacted the manager, NOT the one that was on duty because when I pointed the phone out to him all he had to say was yeah, that is an inconvenience and didnt seem interested in helping. The other manager, Dalton,who was off that day, got there and immediately put the phone on the hook, told me what I actually owed and explained the entire receipt for me. When I was leaving he was still there answering the phone. On his day off. Which is why Im giving three stars, had it been just Stacy and the other manager Id only give one since I cant do negatives.

I like to check out Trade It a few times a week for old video games. Sometimes the prices are clearly ebay prices which is a no for me and other times I can find games under $5. My only real issue with Trade It as a whole is trying to pay for an item can be a pain as the people at the checkout counter always seem to be dealing with items people are trying to sell? I thought that was what the other end of the store was for? Also half the stuff in the game case has the price on the back so you cant see what it costs...other than that its a great store.

REALLY FRIENDLY ENVIRONMENT FOR MILLENNIALS 🤘🏾💕! Older customers dont appreciate the personalities of the individuals working at the Rocky Mount location. Each employee is very helpful and informative. They promote deals and give insights to future sales. I would recommend going here if youre looking to TRADE something old for something better. DO NOT go in here trying to scam or do something underhanded because it WILL NOT work out it your favor. Youll make it bad for people trying to do honest business. Just saying. 🤷🏾‍♀️ Anyways, you cant beat good quality items for cheap. 🤓 5 star in my book.

This place is the worst! Whenever I try to sell something they hardly give me anything for it, then turn around and sell it for more than what they gave me. Thats greedy as hell. All pawn shops are the same. All they want is to make money. I am never going back there! Its a joke! Cant even give someone a decent amount for anything. Gamestop gives you more than they do. Such a fraud!

Went to the store today and bought a couple games. My first impression was that it was a pretty cool store. They had a decent selection of games, for very fair prices, although the game section was very disorganized and messy. MANY of the cases were empty (were the disks stolen?). I ended up picking up 3 games. After waiting at the front counter, which was empty, for 5 minutes, I was finally acknowledged by the staff. I asked the clerk if I could look in the glass case at a game, she was very reluctant for some reason, but I convinced her by saying it was only one game and that I knew exactly where it was. She then rushed me over there and pulled the game out of the case. I felt like she was annoyed by it, so I didnt bother about asking to see anything else behind the glass, despite being interested in a few other items. I then left the store after being rung up.The experience was pretty awful, so I was happy to get out of there.After I got home about an hour later, I opened the game that I had purchased within the glass case, which had been sealed in plastic wrap. I then discovered that the game itself was not even inside. It was a sealed collectors edition Resident Evil 5, with no disk. I dont even know how this happened? They claim to test every game to make sure their customers get what they pay for, yet somehow overlook the fact that an expensive collectors edition box doesnt even have a game in it. To be fair, it was partially my fault for not opening the game when I got out to the car.Unfortunately I live too far away to return it. Regardless I will never go back to this store for as long as I live, what a dreadful place. The manager should be ashamed.

Son was quoted pricing over the phone for item he was looking for and when we got to the store, item was conveniently sold out an hour before we got there but had said they had multiple items of the same kind. Called personnel out on it and theyre not sure who he talked to. Similar USED items have a 54% markup over same items brand new in other stores. What a crock. Happens every time we go in there which is not often because of this issue. Also asked if they would be willing to meet price he was quoted over the phone for same higher priced item and it was a clear no and walked away. Store is a joke. Needs to close up shop.

Trade it in Rocky Mount is very interesting. Ive been in several times to find absolutely nothing of interest. Other times I have found myself in complete content browsing all the different things found here. If you have never visited a trade it, I highly recommend it!

This business all trade it stores are a rip off do not come here or any other trade it they treat their customers horrible. Theyll be nice to you and once you purchase something and its not working properly because their poor quality control people. They wont even honor their own warranty! People work to hard for their money and they jack up prices and sell non-working electronics. Dont come here or any other trade it! Go to a local pawnshop at lease their stuff works! All they do is prey on people hardship then take advantage of you!!!

How can they sell you a game console without the controller to it and then you take it back to them to sell without the controller and they say we can not take this. Trade it is nothing but a rip off. I will not ever do business with them again. I also bought a laptop from them for $200 and returned that to only get $80 within a months time mind you and the sales associate said that they go down in retail. Ok why did I see the same exact one online for 500 and some odd dollars. Rip off. Ive been doing business with Trade It ever since they opened. No more. Ever!!!!

I enjoy browsing through the DVDs, especially the TV shows. I recently found one and purchased it because the description on the back sounded good and the TV show was really good so Im a really happy customer!

I cant even rate this store. My husband took a brand new xbox one in to them with brand new games and they only offered $150 for everything. Then they will turn around and sell it for higher. I dont recommend letting them buy anything from you. Will never use them again.

Worst darn store ever I bought a Xbox 360 I was so excited to play it I worked fine until now it has coffie stains on the inside and got the red ring of death that means it is fried on the inside the woman I bought it form said it was fine and clean thats a flat down lie it was flithy but I thought it would be fine not break down after less than a month a use worst store ever I want a refund and Im going tomorrow warranty or not hell itself is gonna burn tomorrow

Well I bought a Car audio battery that I Paid $1000 dollars for 4months ago. I took it in to see How much I could get for it because Im Building another Project that Requires Less Power plus it was 1 of 3 batteries that I have. but walked in there. Sat it down and asked him His Much I could get. He typed a number in the calculater and showed it to the OTher employee and said man...imma go look it up..took home 5-8minutes l..he came back and was talking back and fourth like they didnt want me to hear them and very Sneaky about it. He typed in the calculater and said. Ok I can give you about $10 bucks for it...me in shock..Im like WHAT!! He said ok $12 bucks... Adding insult To Insult.... I said You cant do $30 dollars?. he replied I Seen it on eBay for $70 dollars and we have to Sale Under EBay. As mad as I was I asked him if He really Had to Go thru All of that Back and forth Mess to tell me that..He had no Respectable Excuse. This is not The First time I went through this kind of Poor Service from the establishment leaving the premises feeling Hustled and disrespected. I dont go there to often, only a couple times a year Because of the Poor Service and I inkt went there Thinking the Staff had either been Trained or Fired For the good but Service there has Gotten worse as well as the Upkeep of the items they do buy. Obviously theres no order or discipline going on because the first I went back in April 2015, I bought some DVDs from them and When u Got home. 1 of the DVDs Daddy Daycare* to be exact was a BOOTLEG..A burned copy of the Original Movie. So Something Has To be Done ASAP. Only thing I Recommend is the Owner AND Corporate To Do a Walk-Through and Investigate Everybody! Its not a Good Thing to have Your Customers leave Your establishment feeling Hustled and Disrespected by Your Staff.
