I had the WORST customer service experience in my lifetime at this Rocky Mount location last week, June 21st, 2021. I did not get the workers name, but pretty much, I was verbally assaulted and enticed to defend my self against the cashier at the printing station. I spoke loudly and asked if any other workers could serve me because I didnt come into this store to fuss with anybody. The workers on duty turned a blind eye. The MANAGER, SHARON, said not a mumbling word as this worker went back and forth with me. All other workers ignored me. Whats wrong with workers today? Nobody is forcing you to work a job that you dont want. The worker continued to tell me that the pickup time on my order (which was ONE black and white letter, two copies) was 6pm. Mind you, I came in at 11:30am. I sent my order in an hour before. There were no other customers at the print station. She told me that if there were other customers behind me, she would serve me last. I told her that Ive sent in small orders before and are able to pick them up when I walk in and ask, at anytime. She called me a child, said that she would not respect me because I was way younger than her and asked if I talked to my mother how I did to her. Im a legal adult by the way. But what does that have to do with anything? I knocked a little hand sanitizer bottle over, no where near her, and she proceeded to print my paper order and throw it at me. She said do you think youre scarring anybody? You came in with an attitude anyway! How do you know my temperament without knowing me? I will never come here again. If thats how office depot trains their staff, and the manager on duty ignores and can not deescalate worker and customer disagreements, then that is very horrible on their part. A worker should be fired on spot when they not only engage in, but cause argumentative behaviors over a simple order. Customer service is not a virtue anymore. How are people passing the interview process? None of that should have allowed to be said or done with 10 other staff members including a manager being present. I clearly asked if someone else would help me with my order. I am disappointed with Sharons managerial skills, and they all need to be fired.
Another great job by Jarius. I checked all over the Raleigh area on someone who could do 2 part Ncrs and Jarius was one of the only people who (a) knew what they were and (b) knew how to print the watermark/ shadow in the background dark enough for it to show through.He printed some for one of my companies before and yes it was worth the long trip to Rocky Mount for him to do the forms for my other business as well.This young man is top notch ie he sounds professional ovee the phone and gives excellent customer service to say the least.Warning A+++++ Experience
Purchased new computer today with the help of a great young man, Cameron. What an absolute asset he is to your store. I was very impressed not only with his attitude but also his knowledge. He has a very bright future!
I ordered a printer online. I waited 24 hours before calling to check on the status of the order. I was informed we dont have time to worry about your order. The Amazon Prime truck showed up the next day with my new printer.
I would not send anyone I know to here. My social club went and had tickets printed on October 3, 2020. The lady was so nice and told me if I needed more to come back. I went back the very next day. The lady at the desk told me that they didnt pri t tickets. I said yes mam you do because I came the day before and had it done. She said well every time that I have tried the machine gets jammed. She calls for the manager and the manager that is there says she doesnt know how. The lady had such a bad attitude from the time I told her what I needed. I told her manager that I didnt appreciate how the lady acted from the moment she saw I needed tickets. She eye rolled and smacked lips. She also told me I was disrespectful. How did I become disrespectful by coming here for tickets. Asking for a manager so I didnt have to keep dealing with her attitude. Needless to say I didnt get the tickets I needed. I had to give one star or I couldnt post.
There was a long line with one person on the register and another person putting up stock ignoring the customers. The line got longer the stock person slowly got on the register after taking a drink of his personal drink he had under the register. I stood in line for 30 minutes. This place dont care about their customers! BEWARE EVERYONE, CUSTOMER SERVICE DONT EXIST HERE!
Being the only one in the area the employees Ive been in contact with truly do the best they can. Online service is also available for a busy phone.
Well i cant comment any negative talk. They did a fantastic job on a wedding program i submitted for coping. Im sure Ill return for work as such. Its where i buy all my ink for 2 copiers. The guys were friendly. An AO K experience.
Bad service.Bad customer management.Pseudo-manager on duty. Not able to manage anything or to address issues.We do things differently here! Yes, I can see, you ate not concerned a out incompetence or to provide customer satisfaction

I dont understand how a Rep can take your order, start working on it and all of a sudden start working on someone elses project right in front of your face.
When we walked in we asked the cashier if they carry the item we wanted, he just looked at us and said No...after we walking around the store about 15 minutes without anyone asking if they could help. Im not happy with these people, I go back to the front cashier and insist he look it up. The store had the items. Talking about customer service... They SUCK

Called to check on a 100 page print job. First person that answered said he was transferring me to the print shop and would be right back. After 7 minutes a lady picked up and said she would also transfer me to the print shop. 17 minutes later I hung up and called back to speak to the manager. He apologized.
I was so amazed at how the young lady was able to bring vibrant colors back to life to a dull picture and transfered it to a glossy print out of a 16x20...I loved it! I will be returning to them for all my print outs from now on...thanks office Depot!

Only problem is the copy center can get pretty hectic. They try there best though. I sat try and go early in the morning to avoid a long wait if you can.
As far as electronics here in Rocky Mount, you dont have a large selection of options. Office depot is the place to go if you need anything school related or need things printed out. However, I would recommend checking the local staples aswell, as they carry alot of the same, or similar products

I went to store to get technical support for laptop. They are good for explaining and diagnostic service.
Worst place for mail. Attendant was really slow and my important document that was guaranteed for delivery on thursday per attendant, wasnt attempted for delivery until late friday, and went with a random signature request, which i explicitly didnt request since this was urgent, and the receiver still hasnt gotten it, is Sunday night now. Never going there again for mail.
This store routinely cuts employee hours or just doesn’t schedule them if they do not have enough people signup for the ‘rewards’ program. The same program that they sell your information to other companies.

Customer Service is horrible!!! Muhammad picks up the phone and states thank you for calling staples. 😕 The associates who works in the print center dont do what they are supposed too, they love to play the busy roll. When you pay for the printing services online it gives you a certain time when your items will be ready and the associates dont have them ready on time. They states its a coporate glitch!! Im calling coporate first thing monday. They really need to get it together asap!!!
Only thing I do not like about office depot if you do an online print order they make you stand in line behind the other people getting jobs done to pick up your order. I have waited two times for almost 40 min just to pick up my print order that was complete.
Derek in Technology was amazing, had to wait for him as there was three customers already waiting for him, but wait was worth it helped me with my laptop problem and saved me a ton of money I have gone back and bought another tablet for my son.
