Pretty good local coffee shop. I personally prefer Larema a little more if you can only go to one place in downtown Rocky Mount but this is still really good and the price is honestly a little better than Larema (definitely still better quality than a Starbucks or other chain)! The staff was really friendly and welcomed me well. They also have a pretty wide variety of events like Taco Food Trucks and a Karaoke night if that is your thing!!

I was looking for coffee places on my way back to PA with my wife, which we decided to stop in Rocky Mount. Since I had never been to Rocky Mount, I figured this was a good opportunity to see the town and support a local business at the same time. We both ordered the mocha, which they were very good. Plus, the barista was very friendly and really appreciated our business. It’s a great addition to Rocky Mount, which I would definitely go a few miles out of the way off I-95 to visit Trax again.

They are the sweetest people with excellent lemonade and sweets.

Barista: Whats in a Name?I would like to complement Barista, Darius Martinez for his exquisite attention to detail. I order the Mocha Frappe with extra whip cream and extra chocolate and it is an absolute delight. Mr. Martinez tells me about the lunch offerings and other specials ex. Mocha Mondays and Frappe Fridays. We even discussed the upcoming ugly sweater event in December. Mr. Martinez is a complement to the warm, artistic, jazz atmosphere. Great place to wait for train. slow service with only one person working who didn’t quite know how to do things efficiently (e.g., get bagel toasting while fixing coffee). Also, not esp friendly. Not rude but I think she just didn’t feel comfortable stepping up.

The staff is super personable and friendly to all that come through the door. Their coffees and smoothies are AMAZING and I love that they are pet friendly. If you need a calm place to work on homework or read a good book, this is the place to go. I love Trax!

Although I am a huge fan of coffee, Trax makes amazing smoothies! I was super impressed with the flavor and consistency with whey protein added! It’s a must try!! Treat yourself...it’s worth it!
