I smelled this place before I saw it so I had to stop in. A lot of choices I walked out with the Lemongrass and Apricot Seed, Oatmeal Stout & Beer and Spearmint & Eucalyptus soap (they were more my speed). Customer service was great. She was knowledgeable, friendly & best of all not pushy. Ive used two of them & they lather very well giving you a pleasant shower experience.

The Bath Place is the BEST! Not only does it smells heavenly, its actually medicinal in my case! My daughter and I have eczema which causes inflamed, dark spots on different areas of our bodies. After using the Oatmeal Milk and Honey soap, the inflammation was eliminated and was smooth to the touch. As we continued to use the soap, the spots began to lighten up and others completely vanished. My daughter was prescribed all types of lotions and topical creams, including steroids that did not work. The owner is truly a God-send and I am truly thankful for her gift!

The Detox and Balance Facial Regime (mask and soap) was recommended to me by a friend to help clear my cystic acne. It works! The soap is cleanses well yet is gentle, and the mask shrank my acne cysts and always leaves my face feeling smooth. I also notice that the regime helped fade my acne scars. Ive been using the soap daily for the past three months and it looks barely used. A little goes a long way so it is an excellent value and worth every penny.

Ordered several soaps and whipped Shea cream. All have a terrific smell. The soap lathers well and does not leave your skin feeling dry. The whipped Shea cream leaves my skin smooth and moisturized without a greasy feel. This was my first time ordering from this company and I will definitely order again. The only negative thing I can say is that during shipping the soaps came out of the tissue paper that it was wrapped in; soap particles were on the whipped Shea cream bottle. This is not a huge issue. I think that a little tape to secure the tissue paper would have prevented this.

I recently purchased the lemongrass soaps. They are amazing. Smell so good and felt absolutely amazing on my skin. The staff was so friendly and answered all my questions. Our organization wanted a unique gift for our womens leadership event swag bags. Having enjoyed The Bath Place products in the past, I reached out to Kim (owner) to see if she had any ideas. I am In Miami Florida and so impressed...The sun here is so hot and harsh.I wanted an anti aging treatment and I found it..I placed an order through The Bath Place in July and its now October. The detox and balance soap is rejuvenating my skin and its very noticeable. It has my skin feeling amazingly smooth and pores are tight. I have sensitive skin and can only use dove sensitive. Wow. I am so impressed with both the products and the owner. My wife remarked that her skin has never felt so soft. The soap bars are long lasting, so they end up saving you a lot of money in the long run. Companies push body wash so that all your money goes down the drain. And the owner! Can anybody really be that happy all the time? I go in there now when its raining outside just to have a reason to smile. Thank you for raising the bar on quality products and services.

This review is long overdue. I happened upon this black-owned business and was eager to support. I purchased a few products but my favorite was their room spray. A little goes a long way. I especially like traveling with it and will oftentimes spray my rental car, hotel rooms, etc. The fragrance is a citrusy one and it just puts me in a happy mood. It’s not overwhelming like aerosol room sprays can be. I also like that it comes in a spray bottle which I can use as a fabric refresher as well.

I love these products! I always buy the lotions or candles as gifts and people always comment on how much they love them. The Good Morning Sunshine is my favorite lotion and Laundry Room is my favorite candle. The customer service is also always so great -- Kimberly and her employees are very knowledgeable and obviously passionate about what they do. She does so much for Rocky Mount and is definitely going to be a big name very soon.

Not only does she have hand sanitizer (especially when there was a shortage a while ago) her soaps are SPECTACULAR!! My dad uses the gentlemen’s shave soap and it definitely helps his very sensitive skin. I also started using a bar to shave and it is probably the softest my legs have been in a while. Buying locally from here is not only living sustainable but it’s helping out an amazing Black owned (female) business.

I tried the unscented Shea and Coco handcrafted soap for the first time tonight and OMG it was amazing. My skin and body is super sensitive now after having my first child in 2010 and normally the only thing I can use is Dove but I am sooooo excited that I was able to find something that was all natural that worked with my skin. I can’t wait to try the other soaps and products. Hopefully I will be able to use something with a scent to it once again.

I had been looking for natural soaps to help with my extremely sensitive skin and my husband’s oily skin and learned about The Bath Place through a friend. My husband now uses the Detox and Balance soap for his face and I use Good Morning Sunshine and my favorite Sugah (I also use the body cream!) soaps for everyday use. The quality of the soaps are much better than anything that I’ve ever bought from Target. I’ve also purchased hand sanitizer from here and it works well. Additionally, Kimberly is very kind, knowledgeable, and always takes the time to share more about her products with me. I will continue supporting this local, Black owned business! 🎉

I LOVE The Bath Place! Purchase a few gifts there for the holidays -- friends were happy to get great products made from quality, non-toxic ingredients. The lotions were a big hit. More recently, started using Kims Charcoal Bamboo bar soap on my face. This is where I went from supporter to total fangirl. I feel like I hit the jackpot. This is not a drill, folks! This soap has done wonders for my facial complexion -- and this is coming from someone who has tinkered around with all sorts of soaps, washes, masks and oils (beauty blog reader over here!). Very welcoming place. My husband and I were just exploring downtown Rocky Mount when we saw The Bath Place and decided to come in and look around. I really did not intend on buying anything, but the inviting atmosphere and enthusiasm of the owner was very refreshing, so we got a few items. The Pomegranate Rose lip balm is very nice, have not tried the soap yet. The bath bombs smelled really good and would have gotten some but we are mainly shower people.
