After a less than enjoyable experience at one dealership. I call Capital Ford in Rocky Mount, spoke with a very helpful Jeff. It is an hour away from where I live. We spoke about the vehicle, lined up a few things, and gave me all the confidence to make the drive to see the truck. I had to return the next day to finalize the purchase. John was great and was willing to hold the vehicle for me. The process has been smooth, respectful and I would recommend to give this place a look if you are in the market!

I took my vehicle in for regular oil change and tire rotation. The guy double gasketed the filter. Of course, this blew my motor, of which I had NEVER had any problems with. This is a 2009 Chevy Trailblazer with over 150k miles. Great shape. They, of course, offered at their expense to put in new motor. They gave me a loaner for about 3 weeks. My car is NOT the same!!! Motor sounds rough, trimmers when first apply gas. NOT A VERY HAPPY PERSON AND WILL NEVER TAKE ANYTHING BACK TO THEM!!!!

Small issue on my older f250. A quick stop at the service desk I was referred to the parts room. There Jamie the parts clerk was quick to look up my defective part and order replacement. As soon as the part is in it will be installed. This Ford dealership has been around a long time and it is one of a large family of Ford dealers. I would not hesitate to stop and when looking for service or for assistance.

My husband and I went to get a diagnostic for my car. Like any dealership they charge you. They charged $140 plus tax. Plus tax is roughly $30 and some change. That wasn’t the issue; the issue was poor customer service. My husband and I arrived to just pick my car up.We were in line. We waited for the man that handled the info on my car. 35 minutes! For just standing there. He was on the phone for a very long time, helped a man BEHIND us.We arrived before him. When we asked questions (once they realized we WEREN’T getting the repairs done with them.) it was as if we were bothering them, they were acting like we were dumb or knew nothing about cars. The service department should really treat they’re customers a lot better.

Horrible customer service from their service dept. Service writer has been putting off repairing my truck in hopes that the warranty expires first. Showed him a video of it failing to start, could not care less.

Bought Ford Edge SEL 2017, was advertise with 85,000 milles and I found out the vehicle has 89,000 milles, no mats and I have to drove again from Jacksonville nc to Rocky mount and when I get there they give me a rubber mat and the not even fit in the suv, probably for a Ford F-150. One week later the check engine was on, The suv it been in my drive way for almost a week seating for a appointment in Ford dander to found out what happened. Really bad experience.
As with many dealerships its about the salesman. I had a great salesman. Knowledgeable and HONEST (a lost trate for many). They may not have been the cheapest I had found but the salesman made all the difference. I would recommend them. And certainly recommend Roderick aka Rod.

It was terrible service had transmission problem. No loaner for 5 days. Every time I had my car work on always had a loaner not a happy camper. When I call to check on my car they gave me run round Pam my service advisor never follow up with me. Had to keep calling .

Bought my car here a few years ago and they were amazing! (They even delivered it to me in Fayetteville.) Husband was hoping to work a deal with Jeff and Joel. Unfortunately, at no fault of their own, they couldn’t get their hands on what he wanted. Knowing F250’s are hard to come by right now (COVID), Jeff never stopped trying! He stayed in constant communication and searched through all their networks. While we couldn’t close a deal this time, we will be back (again!) and continue to recommend this dealership.

Customer service can be improved, most employees on the car service department are clearly not in alignment and act if you are bothering them when ever you come in to get serviced.

I purchased a used truck and when I got it it had a burning smell they agreed to fix it and stated it was the radiator! After about 3 weeks later transmission failed. Took it to GMC shop they Stated the Transmission had been burned up the Burning smell I smelled before. Do not buy a used car from them or at least get the bumper to bumper warranty because they DONT CARE ABOUT the cars they sell!!!

My wife and I bought a used Flex here, and it was probably the best car-buying experience weve ever had. Rod was great to work with, and didnt pressure us at all. He even let us take the car back to Raleigh for weekend so our mechanic could inspect it. In the end, we got the Flex for a very fair price, and the dealership gave us $1500 more for our trade-in than CarMax offered.The car did have a couple minor issues that the dealer promised to fix, and unfortunately those repairs took quite a bit longer than Id have liked. We still ended up with a good car at a fair price, so it was a positive experience overall.
Drove over from Raleigh (1 hr drive) today to test drive a truck I had inquired about earlier this week, only to find out a manager had borrowed it for his weekend getaway. Why would you take a recently listed used car off the lot on a Saturday, especially when you knew a customer was interested in it and was coming to take a look at it on that weekend. So frustrating! We likely would have bought the truck today.
I have owned my 2017 Ford F 150 Lariat for a year. I bought my truck from Capital Ford. I have used Capital Ford’s service department for all the regular service. Their service department is outstanding. Danny Richardson is the Senior Service Advisor. Danny is extremely accommodating and professional. I have listened to Danny talk to customers on the phone and in person and he goes the extra mile to make all the customers happy!! Danny is just an all around great person! He is a huge asset to Capital Ford!!

When they mean as is they mean it. I bought a 2013 f150 and it has broken down twice since then. The first break down was only 8 days after i bought the truck. They never responded to me or the ford corporation in which i tried to get their help. They are seriouly only there to sell not to provide costomer service.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICEIn 2016 me and my wife bought her 2010 fusion in for a recall on the gas tank it was inspected and we were told everything was good fast forward to January 4 2019 after we start smelling gas we bought the car in for service and was told that the tank had rust in it and that Ford customer relations should cover it but after being on the phone with them for over an hr they stated it was the dealership should cover it because they could have easily replaced the part but they didnt and left me and my wife with a 1800 bill but a nice salesman did try to sell us another vehicle no thanks with customer service like this Id rather WALK!!!

DO NOT buy your next new car from this place. They are all to happy to help you and shower you with such great customer service but wait till you have a problem. They have had my sons car 2017 for almost a week now and not even the courteous of a phone call while my son was at work. When he gets off of work for the last two days they tell him the guy he needs to talk to has left. That was a lie we checked it out. He was there but wouldn’t come to the phone. All they need to do is tell my son what they need to do to find the problem. Will we ever buy another car from here no I don’t think so. This shows very poor customer relations and total lack of respect for the customer. You are number one when you are buying but just have a problem and you are screwed! 😡😫
I feel as though I was tricked. I bought a used 2009 Toyota Tacoma In October 2018 I inspected the truck pretty well now the roof is rusting through. I feel like someone sprayed some paint on it to make it look good but it didnt last. The bad thing is Ive bought three vehicles from Capital Ford of Rocky Mount N.C. Never again!
Bought a roush mustang here during the summer. Was greeted on arrival. The transaction was very fast and painless. I was in and out. The mustang was prepped and detailed well before they handed me the keys.

Do not go to this Ford for any service related issues. The representative will not be attentive if you pull up into the service window. Ive never had a car turned down for a drive in service if I didnt have an appointment but apparently today is the day to get turned down for it. I was also told to drive through their service garage in order to get out to the other side and that was very dangerous. the intersection to get into their service area is dangerous as well because you cant see if a car is coming.
Can’t say enough about will Pritchett and his top notch sales staff at capital ford Rocky mount if you are in the market for a vehicle it is well worth the distance to travel to buy from them I am in Burlington nc about 21/2 hours from them I pasted several closer dealer to get to them. That should speaks volumes. I was recommended to contact them from a friend when I was in the market for a new vehicle I spoke with will who put me in touch with Tim( very knowledgeable and always easy to get in touch with and if busy calls right back great customer service) I told them of the kind of vehicle I was in the market for and the price range I was looking to spend they found the perfect vehicle within my budget I told them when I could come to there dealer when I got there they know exactly who I was and had everything ready took less than a hour and I was on the road if I could I would give them 10 stars and I will tell everyone to buy a car from them

My husband and I recently purchased a car from Capital Ford of Rocky Mount.All went smoothly, and we drove home with our new/previously owned sports sedan.When we got home we realized that we did not have the second key fob to the car.Think of having one key for a two driver family or losing it altogether.Since the car was a premium vehicle, the cost of a new key fob and its programming were not cheap.As the car was used and not under warranty, a dealer could have denied any compensation at allsaying the customer should have noted any missing parts before the sale.Fortunately, WILL PRITCHETT, the General Manager of the Rocky Mount store, has different ideas ofwhat a Dealer should do- go the extra mile within reason, to make sure that Capital customers are happy campers,and it will serve all of us well in the long run.In short order, he replaced the fob, and we are delighted that we chose a dealership whose LeadershipTruly values their customers

Spent thousands with this service department in the last 10 years and 3 vehicles. The past year my experience has gone from hero to zero. Do urself the favor and drive to Wilsons ford dealership. There service department is possibly the slowest in town. Taking over a month to replace a head gasket on a 2013 fusion. On top of that there service advisor Lauren drove my car as her personal vehicle 350 miles without my permission to and from home while trying to figure out what was wrong with it. I understand a technician needing to drive it, but not a girl who knows nothing about cars and is not certified to diagnose them. They also charged me 162$ to replace a clamp that holds the coolant reservoir hose in place maybe a 3min fix..........way to treat ur costumers me nor my dad will be coming back to this service center except for absolute emergencies we have and will continue to drive to wilson.

I spoke with Chris and told him what I was looking for. The Rocky Mount dealership did not have one available so Chris began searching. I received a call from Chris shortly after our first conversation and he told me that he found my vehicle at a location about three hours away, and told me that it would be at the dealership and ready for my review the next day. When I first saw the car, I was extremely impressed; it was exactly what I wanted. I could not be any more satisfied with my buying experience, and would highly recommend Chris to anyone who is in the market for a vehicle.

I called in because I was interested in a vehicle on the lot, I am upside down in a trade and I was just wanting to see if I could trade my current Ford for a bigger car, due to a new addition to the family. I spoke with a man named Chris Whitehead, and told him of my situation with my trade. My car on nada- rough trade is worth at least 22k - which I understand every dealer does not have to honor that. I have my own financing through my credit union, but I was open to financing elsewhere. Long story short, Chris told me to send him pics of my unit- and the info on my car. I did- he text me back 21k- which I was completely fine with. Once I said okay that number was fine, he said are you sure your bank will finance as much on this car- I went back over the numbers with him - he then tries to give me the back and forth on what taxes will be etc... and still trying to charge me 1-2 k more than I should be charged. He then calls me to tell me that they did the appraisal wrong and lessened it by 2k from what he text me. How do you all of a sudden forget then remember the year of my car? And you took an hour to get back with me.... it was simple. they did not want to sell me the car because they couldnt rip me off. Very unethical. And Im in the car business. Buyers beware. Fairness is not the name of the game! I was willing to buy a car they did not want to sell.
Had issues with previous van and was contacted by the dealership and now Have a new van only after they ran my credit report over 10 times dropping my credit score.They claim it was to get me the best rate which did not. Not happy at all

I had a concern with my truck and took it to this Ford dealership. I could not have been more satisfied with the work they completed. The repairs were done as stated and correctly. They also found a safety concern with my steering that could have been dangerous if not addressed. Because this was my first visit they took the time to point out the concern and explain what needed to be done and why. Capital Ford should be very proud of the employees they have and the care they take of their customers.
If l could rate 0 stars l would...Worst service ever took my car to have transmission work done and they messed up my whole car..when l dropped car off it was running perfect got a call a week later saying car was ready and went to pick it up and my car was running terrible to the point that l could not drive it...had to have it towed back to them just to give me the run around and do nothing about it but say sorry there is nothing they could do and they call themselves certified mechanics HA! yeah right. I will not make that mistake ever again😡😡

I will never use their service dept again, my husbands car was brought in for a power steering recall and it took 4 days to get is car back. We were given the run around and was told parts were delayed and made guarantees that never happened and all they had to do was just be honest and we would have understood. We have family in the car business so we understand how things can happen but their lack of transparency is what truly bothered us.
We broke down in Rocky Mount coming home from the OBX. Everyone went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of even though it was the weekend, parts were not available until Monday and we were 7 hours from home. We thank you for your honesty and your concern.
