I have been looking at their floorplans & also YT videos for several months now. Am currently in the process of buying some land. Today I called them to ask some questions Ive had regarding whether or not getting a tiny home from them would be feasible for me &my location &I had the pleasure of speaking with Shirley & she answered all my questions. She was very helpful,polite& informative. I am very excited & hopeful to be contacting them again after I purchase my land!

Absolutely breathtaking but youre going to pay through the nose! 99k+ and up! For that kind of money get a regular mobile home...just saying. I live in a 400 square foot Tiny House on a slab and pay $400 a month rent - no stairs, no loft!

Finally traveled 275 miles to this location to see what a tiny house is all about.The office staff were very professional & nice.They gave me a master key so that I could access any tiny house I wish to see inside. I got to see many different floorplans.The only negative is that Mr. Tiny Timmons was unavailable to personally show me the grand tour of his facility or give me a ride in his pimped out Mercedes. 😂

They had some real nice homes but the only thing it the tiny homes or whatever you call him that has the Loft you better be short when you go up there because if youre tall you have two steps to go to and youll be hitting your head but there has some nice places

Very nice tiny homes. Staff was very professional and answered all my questions. They were not plushie sales people it was great. We found two models we really like alot.

Called to get information. The gentleman who answered the phone was a bit curt. Barely said hello. Poor phone etiquette. Many deals are made over the phone. Dont sell yourself short (no pun intended).

The tiny homes I saw were really nice. Now I need a small parcel to put it on.

Too expensive for square footage. Not very well built. Cracks in ceilings. Disappointed. For the money you could have a home built. Bad investment. They have taken the Tiny house craze to the limit.

Mike Timmons is a true professional—knowledgeable, responsive, with excellent people skills.My wife and I required a park model customized to a very specific situation.We live in Arizona but I could find no one who would take the time to understand our needs and work to help produce a suitable home.Mike was referred to us. I am a “hand on” kind of guy, so the idea of working with someone remotely during this time when travel is difficult was a bit daunting. Mike took the time to understand our needs, put up with my detail questioning and second guessing, and made suggestions we could never have imagined.The clincher is his service after the sale was just as attentive as it had been through the entire process.Mike Timmons gets my best comments!

Nice looking homes but when you get them the sheet rock is poorly tapped and you have dips and dives all through the ceiling and walls. When you have them come out to fix them they make it look worse.

We have just had our mini mansion delivered and are very much in love. I wanted to say a quick thanks to Jeff Edwards, he was very helpful to us in finding a tiny home and helpful with the process from beginning to end.Jeff went above and beyond in working around my sleep schedule and told the loan officers/ follow up crew that I would be working with that I work nights and to not call until after 1pm.I felt like Jeff listened to what our needs were, while letting us figure out what would work best for us. He took our plan changes with stride and wasn’t pushy or acted annoyed with us. He was also pretty funny and had a good attitude, overall making the sale and delivery process a breeze. We also appreciate all the staff at RCC and we will be recommending them to our friends.

Took a friend here to look and the models look great. Very clean and efficient use of space. They even have one with a deck and spiral stairway.

We really loved the houses, they have some very nice ones.

I expected more when I got there!! No pressure salesmen trying to close a deal and that was actually NICE! Quality was not the best for custom cottages. The pricing was deceiving to me!

Drove over an hour to view the homes. Upon arrival we were told that we needed an appointment to view the homes. There is no mention of this on the website and the young man that greeted us was incredibly rude and offered no suggestion as to how to make an appointment or offered the option to go ahead and make one while we were there. While figuring out our next step another group of people pulled up and were immediately greeted and taken to properties with a dog in tow when there are signs that clearly indicate no pets allowed. Clearly they need to work on their communication as another review stated over a week ago that they ran into the same issue with making an appointment. Will absolutely be taking our business elsewhere.

I have been in my home since August and it is now May. Several pieces of the trim has come loose . I sent a message to the office asked could some one come fix it. Was told no because I have been in the house over 45 days. Not sure what happen to year warranty. Just another disappointment with this company. Buying the house was great but trying to anything done they only know one phrase..No it is not covered ..

Truly awesome place to check out some Tiny home and modular home models. Prices are listed on the handout that is provided when you visit the office. Some of these are really cute and there is something to see for everyone..😊👏

You have the freedom to walk around the homes at your own pace and look. No salesman to follow you around and slow you down! Gives you a good idea of what living would be like in 400 square feet as well as some homes close to 2,000 square feet. Wonderful outing for a couple to enjoy together!

A great place to check out some of the Tiny/Park homes. Its nice to see that you can get alot of nice design options in such a Tiny space. The girl at the front desk could be a little more pleasant. She was slightly nice/nasty (which is why I dropped a star). Other than the sales agents were friendly and ready to answer questions as you may have many if youre considering purchasing. I hope that soon there will be a lot more Tiny communities popping up all over the DFW because that is definitely needed. Have fun touring!

Being in the retail business for a major manufacturer, I know how important it is for retailer to have the support of a manufacturer in order to take care of a customer satisfactorily. the communication between the Rockwall Resort Cottages and Athens Park Homes has been just that! thank you to the service department at both businesses for getting our issue taken care of quickly! I am thankful it was a simple issue that your trained tech identified and rectified quickly. The service was above and beyond! I highly recommend them!

My mother and I have been looking at tiny homes from RRC Rockwall for months and today, for Mothers Day, we decided to just take a drive and we just planned to look around and drive by just to see them in person. However, when we got there, there was a sign that said Sign in for a key and map or something to that effect. However, when my mother and I stepped up to the table to sign in, a young man came out and asked if we had an appointment. We said we didnt and he became quite rude to us. He continued on and on, and told us we would have to leave, but he made no mention of how we would go about making an appointment either online or making an appointment with him. We honestly wouldnt have had a problem if the young man had asked us if we wanted to make an appointment or perhaps told us how to do so online, but he was just rude and acted like he was happy to see us go. It was really disappointing to be so excited about seeing these houses weve looked at for months, even if it was only to be driving around, but we were shocked at how rudely we were greeted and spoken to. I understand that there are horrible things happening, and I completely understand their reasoning, but it really doesnt excuse poor customer service, especially when the signs were not clear about the need for an appointment.

I visited Recreational Resort Cottages and Cabins a year or two ago and toured their models. The tiny home models were really cute and made excellent use of such a small space (about 400 SF). I apparently provided them with my email address as I receive emails, newsletters, sales offers, etc. from them periodically. One of the items that has been included in some of their newsletters is information about a tiny home community called Hidden Forest Lake in Campbell, TX. I googled Hidden Forest Lake, Campbell, TX and a website appeared and indicated that the location would be on Highway 50 in Campbell, TX. Highway 50 does not go through Campbell, TX. I decided to call and inquire where the community will be located as I have a couple of friends who might be interested in such a community. A gentleman answered my call and when I asked where the community will be located he told me that it would be in Campbell. When I pressed for more detail, he was very evasive and said that the community would be located along I-30 in Cumby, TX (which is a few miles east of Campbell). He finally said that they are not yet releasing the specific location.Frankly, this is not a way to do business. When a company advertises a product or service, the company should be prepared to provide details around said product or service when asked for details by a potential customer. When a business avoids providing details around a product or service that they have advertised and directly marketed to me, I truly have to ponder what they are hiding and why are they hiding anything. Again, folks, no way to do business!

When I called to get some more information it was almost like this woman working there did not want me to buy a tiny home. I live in Florida and like the tiny home made in Texas. She was very negative telling me that it would cost a lot of money to get it dropped off without giving me any other information. Talking to me like I’m not a costumer.

You can see this place from the service road as well as from the freeway, Interstate 30 freeway. The Visit was very informative and the sales associate that I spoke to was very informative. The product that that they are selling is a good product as far as what I could see when comparing to other similar products. Products meaning, modular or manufactured homes. would definitely stop in if this is something that you are looking for, its worth a visit.

I love them all ‘ what you see on YouTube is what you get nice set up so can take your time to look 👀 and not feel rushed. Only thing I didn’t like was the person I spoken to didn’t seem to care if I bought it or not and no I’m will follow up “ I found myself asking him the questions I was very confused after that!! If you new to buying manufactory or a-tiny home so many other things goes along wwith that than just buying it that’s when he supposed to come in and help.

I had the the most positive experience purchasing a tiny house at RRC possible. Mike in sales actually listened to me and made sure I ended up with the perfect home for my needs & budget. Every team involved in this process was excellent - from sales, to financing, to delivery and install and the absolutely professional utility set up team. I cant say enough good things about these folks. If you are in the market to purchase a tiny house or any other home RRC has to offer - stop looking. THEY ARE THE BEST!!

Very cool place with lots of tiny home. We were there checking out all the unique designs but in the end we went with a traditional home but have since vacationed in tiny homes. Very fun and economical.

Came in to specifically ask about modular homes which are listed on the website. Was told flat out the trailers on the lot were modular homes when I asked is this a trailer or modular. There is a difference. I know the difference. Stop acting like shady car salesman and thinking youre going to get one over on me when Im clearly asking specific questions and looking for specific answers. If you dont offer modular homes then you need to take that wording off your website.

Went through the whole process of picking out a custom Park model RV and even transferred the required 50% down to start start the build. It wasnt until after executing the purchase agreement and transferring the funds that RRC emailed us an Arbitration Agreement to sign. I told them we do not sign Arbitration Agreements and they responded that it was their policy that every buyer sign one. We refused, I told them we were not giving up our rights just to buy a product from them, and the deal fell apart. Wasted 3 days of our time and the cost of the wire transfer. Have since found another dealer that does not require an Arbitration Agreement to do business with them.BUYER BEWARE!!! Do not be forced into sighing these agreements (when buying anything), they are not good for the consumer.

Visited this location on a extremely hot and humid afternoon. Received inferior and lack of service, based on there racial profiling! The Caucasian men who came in were offered water, and told of special and incentives. Me and my African American family were offered absolutely nothing. Also met with the sales/finance manager he was very aloof and also not interested in assisting us. You think being a woman with kids they would have at least offered water, but they did not. Your racism and discrimination is deplorable! If you think that you dont need the African American dollar you should just post it on your doors and website! We have better things to do with our time and money, then fratinize at a business that is racist !

So much fun to go see the homes, the staff was so nice and friendly. The only down fall is trying to see all the homes while walking in the Texas heat! But when you get past that, its a blast to do.
