When we bought our mobile home through American Homes we were never asked if we wanted to pick our own insurance. I still went ahead and shopped around and found one. When I told them we had an insurance company we wanted to use they said they would have to submit all new paperwork and it would take another 2 weeks. Since we needed to be out of our apartment we were pretty much forced to use the insurance they chose. Little did I know that the owner of American Homes is also an insurance agent. The owner of American Homes, Michael is trying to make as much money off the mobile home, your insurance (since your required to get it and he gets a incentive) and mortgage company (since he gets an incentive from the mortgage company as well). The owner of this place doesn’t care about his customers. He cares about putting as much money in his pocket. I would stay as far away as you can from this place. I regret buying from American Homes.

They deserve all the stars in my book!!! If I were to begin on what my husband and myself went through BEFORE finding American Homes, you would be floored! We started off trying to find an actual house and soon found out how crazy the market is and it was impossible for us. We decided to then look for land plus mobile home and unfortunately ended up in a competitors mobile home company and had one of the worst experiences. We didn’t get the land, and they kept promising us the home would arrive a certain date and just kept changing it time and time again. They kept forgetting to submit our paperwork to the loan company and it was just out of hand.I searched more mobile home companies and thankfully found AMERICAN HOMES! They’re good reviews are spot on! This team made sure that we got into a home we really loved and with time being a major factor for us, Luis, our sales guy, did everything he could to get us into a home to suit our time frame. Once the home was delivered, I was impressed to find out this is a family owned business and they themselves come out to even do the last minute repairs in your home! I can’t forget to mention Estela! She is beyond amazing!! We did our home walk through with her, and she explained every important detail . We are BEYOND satisfied with all the attention to detail! I’m one to always HAVE to follow up, to make sure others are doing what is expected and with American Homes, I did not have to do all that. They kept us always in the loop and if we did happen to have any questions, they answered immediately without delay! I’m thankful for this company, and blessed by their service.

After visiting with a few of the different competitors, I can definitely say American homes is it. They carry some of the nicest homes I’ve seen and the gm there mike will go above and beyond to try to help you succeed. Very Nice. sales people in this store and by far carry the best products. We just purchased a home from American Homes and have to say the entire experience has been first class. Between them holding the home for us while we were waiting for the sell of our home to fund to also having some snags on securing our land Luis our Sales rep and Mikey the manager we’re extremely helpful in helping my wife and I with brainstorming solutions. They are truly ethical and people of their word. I wouldn’t recommend going anywhere else to purchase a manufactured home.

We stopped in here after quite a few places from Sulphur Springs down to Dallas and was greeted with the southern hospitality you would expect and appreciate. Jarred made our buying process so smooth and kept us informed the entire time. He went above and beyond and was extremely informative on the different models and what we would need to get through our home buying process! My husband and myself purchased a home from Robert, through American Homes. Everything in and outside of the home was in working order. There were a few things cosmetically that needed to be fixed and Estella got her guys to come out and fix the problems. I love my home and I’m so thankful to have it.

I just want to start by saying if I could give 10 stars I would. My husband and I were looking for a home and I am so thankful American Homes was recommended to us by a friend. I went to look at their homes by myself thinking I would check them out then have my husband take a look if I found something I thought would fit our needs and I went on a day they would normally be closed however, Mickey was there to meet me. When I walked up I instantly found the home of my dreams and bought on the spot even though I was not ready for the home to be delivered Mickey was gracious enough to hold it and even helped us find someone to demo our old home and make everything ready for the new home. This company goes above and beyond with all of your needs and their prices cannot be beat. Once the home was delivered Estella and her team were very thorough and quick to respond to any issues. Estella has been so helpful and diligent on making sure everything is perfect. I can never say enough about everyone at this company. I have never had such a great experience and will recommend them to everyone I talk to. Thanks Mickey and Estella for all you do. We couldnt be happier.There is one thing I forgot originally and that is the prices American Homes has for their wonderful homes cannot be beat. I’ve recently bought my first house that I fell in love with…. Thanks to American Homes y’all made it possible…. And on top of that my sales man (Luis Del Castillo)I highly recommend him cause he was on top of everything!!!!!

We went to look at a home that caught our eye and they told us the price and told us they had it available. We returned 5 days later and the price had increased $1K. We were going to go ahead and move forward with the purchase, but the 2nd sales man said they didnt have any available. We went home talked about it and then called so we can add our name on the list so when the next one comes available we could get it and they said it had gone up $8k. At this point, I new the salesman at this location were con artist. I wouldnt recommend anyone to buy from this place.

There is mobile homes there that I really did like I wish I could afford one of them are we went looking enough all we found but theyre pretty good on their price Im a guy whos really nice

Loved it here!!! Mr. Raul Zuazua helped us with our process. He helped us with all the paperwork and made sure we understood everything. Bones for us was that he knew Spanish specially because we mainly spoke Spanish. Once we where done with all the paperwork process and the house came to us Mrs. Estela Moore help us with the rest. She made sure that everything in our home was working and if we needed anything she was just a call away. But for real I loved working with everyone here. If Mr. Raul and Mrs. Estela weren’t available everyone else would help us out.Love them here.

This was a great experience! I had no idea what to expect, other than to ask a few questions and see where we would go from there. We met with Robert Dillon and had our whole crew of kids with us. He was very patient and took the time to help us understand the entire process. We even were able to tour three of the homes and it truly helped us think through this next step.

Great place and jarred was friendly and responded on a timely manner and it was nice to walk around and look at homes with out a salesman.

I had a nice little chat with the salesman there. It was a real good visit. I was there mainly for the purpose to learn and gain more knowledge on mobile in manufactured homes. The Visit was successful, and I found out that these homes are starting to look more and more like real homes and not just junkie trailer homes which was what I thought long ago. Worth looking into. If interested in buying one you would need a different type of financing but thats an easy fix. They do that for you.

Homes are really nice. They style and quality has improved 10 fold from the single wide home I lived in when I was younger in the early 90’s. I was very impressed. They have a pretty wide selection of homes to choose from. Sale people are friendly and helpful.

I called a bout a month or so ago and the guy who answered didnt seem like he cared he kept saying Yes sir after I did all the talking, I guess he dosent wanna sell a home. He wouldnt lead me in a direction on where to by land.The salesman they have there is professional though.

American Homes has amazing mobile home deals. Raul helped us get a great deal for my mothers first mobile home purchase. Estella made us feel comfortable and explained to us the process of the walk threw. Definitely recommend them to first time mobile home buyers.

Edit: I went with my parents to this place four separate times, quick to take your money and also no thanks Mike they have decided they have already wasted enough of their time with yall and your employee of the month John. So many empty promises and nothing gained in the end. We already done half of what yall promised. Nothing can undo this awful experience. Dont know how yall have 4 starsIts hit or miss here with a bunch phone calls and driving back and forth all during a 7 month period. I can at least say my parents got a house, they mostly got a bunch of empty promises. They have wasted so much time here be weary of these people they cant even fill out paperwork right.

I was referred by a friend to American Homes, and I must admit I was a little skeptical about the qaulity of home I might get. To my surprise the homes were well built, family friendly, and very affordable. The sales people were extremely helpful and made sure that I was completely comfortably every step of the way. I would definitely recommend anyone else who is searching for a home.

By far the worst service and sales I have ever been through. We bought a house from them, unfortunately, and it was terrible. Our sales guy Mikey Moore has to be the worst sales person in the entire universe. He was unprofessional from the first day we met to the last. He sucked at his job, made us feel like we werent worth his time or business. I cant tell you how many time he made us drive out there to give him information, instead of just telling us what we need the first day. Seriously every time we went out there he was giving us something new to fill out and bring back. He couldnt explain aspects of the house that we were paying for to us. We felt like we were being worked over and cheated so we decided to look at OUR file because it had all of our information in it and we discovered that he added AC to the house when we told him more than once that we did not want AC! Thats $3000 in his pocket. Typical sales person for ya. He told us that we didnt need to be looking in his files, well its not your file. We started the house process end of July and he gave us a date and he told us the house wasnt ready when that date came. Well guess what, the house was ready a week before the date he told us. And he continued to tell us it wasnt ready when it had been ready for almost a month. I guess we really werent worth your time. He did what he had to do to get his money and that was it. Didnt even acknowledge my boyfriend when he went back to complete the paper work that could have been done a month ago. Mikey Moore is too childish to be in sales. We will be reporting American Homes and actions will be taken to make up for how wrong we were treated. This will not go untouched. I could go on for days. Dont buy from this place unless you want to be treated like crap, disrespected and bent over.

My husband and I visited this afternoon. We were initially super excited that we got to tour the houses by ourselves without someone trying to sell us. We toured every one. All decent, affordable homes to live in. We had a lot of questions & were nearly sold on one of the homes. We went back in, excited to talk to someone in sales to ask our questions.. The sales manager acted as if we weren’t worth his time. Questions were vaguely answered with “I think so..” “Well when you’re ready, we can talk about it..” and rushed us out the door. We were ready!! You lost our business for sure.2 stars for nice homes3 missing for lack of customer service

Where do I start... First, I would never purchase a home from an independent dealer. They have no pull or clout with the manufacturers they sell...Their setup contractors are awful and dont stand by their work. The warranties are NON EXISTENT. From the first week I moved into my mobile home, things have gradually fallen apart. Of course it takes awhile to move in after set up wiring, plumbing. I did my walk-thru and when I pointed out things wrong, he never came back to fix them. Then a window leaked water. The double paned windows, black mold in every window in the house and now the back bedroom where furniture was up against the wall, black mold, all the closets black mold. Carpet started turning black, thought it was stain. Cut it, the cold air from outside was blowing underneath and there was black mold under it. Insurance says it wont cover it. I still owe $20,000. They said said the whole thing will have to be gutted. The carpet helps conceal that where the flooring and walls meet or not sealed. Thats why the condensation build up and all the mold. I talked to another insurance agent in the same building where I work and they have had numerous complaints of people having black mold because Clayton also doesnt have proper ventilation. Ive owned my trailer for 2 yrs and its just been falling apart all around us, cabinets doors, now this. Never again. BUYER BEWARE and dont make the mistake I made.

Sales process was good, install was good, but the after service stinks. Mike, the General Manager is an unprofessional, disrespectful, condescending jerk. Ive never been treated more disrespectfully in my life. I went in to tell them I felt that the quote I got from their plumber was extremely high for the amount of work required. (I was trying to help them ) He looked across the desk at me, and in a condescending tone, says, SO? Thats what plumbers charge! Im not a sensitive person but I know customer service and I know BAD customer service, and his sucks!!! I finally walked out in the middle of his BS.Not telling you to not to buy from them, but two things: Dont use their contractors and whatever you do, try not to deal with General Manager Mike Moore.

Stopped by on the way home to look inside the new modular home model they had out. I stepped inside and the guy was busy, so I waited until he asked me if he could help me. I asked if they were closed, and he said No, we are open 24 hours! So I said I would like to look inside the modular home, and so he said Sure and then called a lady up to the front, who was obviously not happy to be there, nor happy to help. She said all the lights were out in the homes, and I said, not the one I want to see because we already peeked inside and she was just delaying, and acting like she didnt want to show me. I said I simply wanted to look, I wasnt going to buy it today. She said i needed to fill out paperwork, and I asked Why cant I just look inside it? And she acted very put out, and said she guessed I could, and then told me to fill out an info sheet. Then she said I cant be long because I have to pick up my son ... I told her that the guy up front did not say they were closed when I asked, and she said we close at 6pm. I didnt know what time it was, I just knew their OPEN sign was still on. Turns out when we left, it was still 5 minutes until 6pm. She was rude, acting like she didnt think we had any money. I told her I was going to pay cash, and she acted as if she didnt believe it. I will give anyone my money besides this company. Rude employee and certainly not one who is deserving of commission on a modular home that is as expensive as it is to have one built. Will never go back.

In response to your request: Simply put, I asked about the pricing of a specific home. Rather than respond directly, I was told fill out this paper. I know that may be your codified sales approach meant to gain control of a prospective customer, but once the customer states that time is limited and requires information rather than filling out paperwork. That is no way to treat a cash customer, or any customer. It may help you to sort out the tire kickers from the earnest buyers, but it also drives earnest buyers away. In other words, your sales plan is a bit manipulative, rather than responsive and personable. The lady that finally joined us outside was quite informative, which is why I selected three stars instead of one.

Very help full with my buying experience. Helped me get approved. After home was delivered to my property American homes handed all my service property and timely. I happy with my home.

We took our daughter there Saturday and she wanted to look at homes for her future. Ed was very professional and as polite as any one could be. We filled out the form and he gave us a master key and told us to take our time and look at all the homes if we wanted to. When we finished looking we went in and talked to him about our daughters future home. He gave her a lot of pointers and information she needed to prepare for the future. I hope he is still with the company when she gets ready to purchase her home.

I have to give American Homes five stars. On a cold, rainy day, Marty went out of her way to assist my out-of-state friends. We stopped by because my friends saw the large selection of model homes while we were shopping next door at Cavenders. Knowing that they were not local and just browsing, Marty went above and beyond to answer every question and guide them through the models they were interested in. She was very knowledgible, personable and kind. The homes we visited were just what my friends were looking for. The Franklin was impressive. I would definitely recommend Smarty Marty and American homes if you are in the market.

So my mom (DROVE FROM LUBBOCK) and I came to this place 4 months ago and the guy that started to help us didnt want to answer a couple of questions that I had. He was really nice but just would not answer my question. My mom was looking and has great credit and I was looking and mine is not due to recent divorce.Regarding credit score so I figured he doesnt know or he is like a car sales person. I am a woman and he didnt like that...not sure what the deal was but I grew impatient and let my mom ask her questions and I stepped out. So I went to the front and spoke to the car sales person in charge. Informed him of the other guy and that I was just needing to see what is the lowest score they work with or do they take a huge down payment with out score. As I have seen so many ads about that. I didnt even want to look at the homes yet as I was just gathering my information and doing research. I was setting my goal to get a home with land in two years. My daughters goal is a year.I told him we had gone to Burleson Factory and would have gone through them but they dont do land packages. He said they do but not out side of DFW area.He said if you want to get into something come 6 months in advance as it takes time to search for land.I have been telling my daughter we need to get on this as soon as possible and get to Rockwell to speak to this man. He gave me his card and wrote all the percents of what down payment would be if the score would fall be low a certain range.So my daughter and I drive all the way out there from the other side of Weatherford with five kids and we stopped at MacDonald s to get something for Keds to eat. We didnt even go in my daughter went back into McDonalds because we didnt get.all our food. If few min later a woman comes out and tells me that my daughter fell.In all that we show up to that awful, horrible place ugly spirited man which is rude and my daughter is barely able to sit because of the pain. Didnt even acknowledge my grandchildren.So I started to try to explain to this guy that I spoke to him that day and what he said about the land package thing.He said I never said that to you and we do not offer land with our homes. I said what, yes you did and why are you lying. Why would I have driven all the way over here and not gone with Burleson He said you treated Bennie bad that day.First of all I dont know who Bennie is and second of all the guy I was talking with that was with my mom and I. Well he didnt know what he was doing. I insulted his male ego when I stepped out of the room.I have bought and sold several homes of my own and I didnt appreciate being treated the way this guy was playing me off.I told my daughter lets go this man is a lier and has wasted our time. I was upset and took three of my grandchildren too car and my daughter is hobbling along with the other two. We left! I will never do business as long as that office is full scamming car salesman.I called my mom and asked her if she rememberedof what he said about land package. She said he did and just let it go, pray for them.She said the other guy didnt answer her questions either She was not happy! She went back to Lubbock and bought her home from a private dealer that has been in business for more than 30 yearsI will pray that for every lie and every wrong they do they have to pay back 100 times back.Oh and by the way...so if you do not find my name in your book it is because it is not.I put my daughters name and information.And my mom doesnt know about Google, Yelp... Facebook.. etc... review. ... I do!!!

Drove all the way there with my family when posted states open Sundays 12-5, lot was open but was greeted by a man who said it was only open for him to show a house to one person he was meeting and we should come on Monday. I drove a long way for nothing.

American Homes in Rockwall has great options for everyones budget and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Bought a home through them 4 years ago. It was built at the champion factory at the burleson plant. We have had nothing but problems from the start. When we tried to get issues fixed the factory would say it was the sales company responsiblity and when I called sales they said its the factory. 4 years later my ac, roof and windows, doors, we even walls and floors are still not fixed and to top it off we put down $48,000.

TINY HOMES!! Of course too $$.. per Sq. Ft. But alot of fun looking at and one of the very few places to get one if youre not going to do it yourself
