They have a GREAT selection of boulders, flagstone, gravel and sand, river rock, and more! The employees have all been very helpful to make our backyard project just what we want it to be.- We are working on putting a play-sand river surrounded by boulders and river rock for our young kiddos to enjoy. 😁 We are already loving how everything is turning out.

Had a great experience with Classic Rock! I just bought 4 large boulders (about 900 lbs each), and had them deliver and place in my front yard. They look fantastic! Their prices were great, and the guy doing the delivery did a great job. All in all a great experience.

This is my go to place for everything landscape. We recently bought 4 tons of flagstone, 1 ton ledge stone, and 1 ton road base. All delivered and set on the driveway. Yes we paid to have it delivered and forklift unloaded. The guy that delivered was very friendly. Wish I could remember his name, he even helped a few days later when I made several trips to get cushion sand.The price and quality are great! I made the mistake of going to another place in Dallas because they were open on Sunday and I didnt want to lose a day. Both the price and quality were poor! They are not very good at accommodating customers. They seem like they are all about money. I would not recommend. As you can tell, very unprofessional. Even when we had our rock delivered the man came up to my door and said “where do you want this” I just remember thinking in my head, “Wow he seems mean” I only give bad reviews when I feel it’s necessary and in this case I did. I get this is a small company but maybe they could try just being more professional.

Well my yard speaks for the quality materials they have. And the people are really nice. They treated me and my daughter so kind. They showed her their pig and gave her candy. She just loves going out to Classic Rock& Sand. They were very helpful on the amount of stone and the thickness for my walkways. I would recommend them for any project. Last year I bought stone for a patio, they humored me and let me go through several pallets to get stone I liked. I had plenty left over to edge my flower beds. This year I wanted to prevent my dogs from digging in a flower bed and getting muddy. So I purchased river stone, again getting more than I needed so my work area of my back yard will get a stone cover, making it look nice and not muddy! It was close to closing on a Sat, but she took the time to show me the various styles of rock and let me pick out what I wanted. Im please with both projects - so nice to have a good source of rock close to me with great prices and exactly what I want for a project!

I shopped around to quite a few places, and they have the best prices for sure! They also have everything you need for yardwork, we are redoing our garden area and was able to get soil, sand, pebbles, flagstone, and edgers all here. Really helpful staff and local delivery available up to 8 tons for $85.

Classic Rock is are rock stars and have great prices on their stone. They listen to what you are wanting to do and then give you great suggestions. The first time i needed a few pieces of flag stone for stepping stones. I found my 9 pieces and proceeded to check out and the gentleman said these are samples have a great Friday. This was shocking but they earned a customer and many referrals from me. Now the second time i was searching for the perfect stones for a bench. I spent 15 min and found a few stones that i liked and proceeded to ask for help. They asked me what my project was and with much surprise they had me follow them to the stones made specific for benches. It turns out what i was looking at would not have worked. Kudos for the employees there they are knowledgeable and respectful of what you are wanting to accomplish. I would give them 5 stars, but it is a bit inconvenient for the non contractors, that they are not open on Saturday. Thanks Classic Rock, i already have my landscaper coming your way to buy from you. Once i have my project done, i will post some pics. But i need to come by some more rocks from you before i can finish. thanks again.

After reading wonderful reviews about customer service, I was very disappointed to experience the opposite. We are building a new home with a great deal of stone siding and landscaping and were hoping for some hands-on guidance but instead were told to come in on our own and look around and then place an order if we wanted something. Even recommended other rock places. It was clear that their time was more important than the potential (large) sale. Nice website, unfortunately the carry through was not so much.

Very unprofessional business. I know a landscaper that has spent tons and tons of money on their business through the years and didnt treat him with any respect and got fed up with him and just told him to just get out and leave. This business and the owners are VERY unprofessional, are NOT good with communication, and VERY immature! They just lost a very loyal and high paying customer that has bought from them for years! I highly recommend to NOT purchase from this company for stone.

Always a pleasure doing business at Classic Rock Stone Yard. Everyone there is friendly and knowledgeable. Prices are competitive and the quality is top notch. Ive purchased boulder sized moss rock, lueders stone with roughback, and just about every size of riprap you can imagine. Im always impressed with the quality of the stones. They even deliver! Here is 260 linear ft of retaining wall using their lueders and riprap.

Called to ask about decomposed granite for our landscaping by our pool. The lady on the other end of the phone was very rude. I ask her how they deliver the product and where they would drop it. She asked me what I did for a living.??Like that matters!! Little does she know that I have purchased from them several times before but this will be my last. I called another business and made my purchase with them (Living Earth).

I could not have hoped for a better experience. Brody helped me pick out a few pallets of beautiful flagstone for a patio and some ledgers for a garden bed. Delivery was timely (which is also impressive, because they were out of the ledgers that I wanted. So they would have ordered them after I left and had them to me with the flagstone just a few days later). The service here was above and beyond. I came here to get some rocks for my backyard and was met with the most delightful helper ever! his name was brody and he was so kind to me and so helpful! he helped me choose the best rocks that would look the prettiest in my backyard and had a great sense of humor. he helped me lift the rocks into my car and was so gentle about it. 10/10 experience, would definitely recommend to anybody looking for some pretty rocks!

Very happy with the ordering process- they had the different stones displayed where you could see them easily side by side. Very helpful in calculating how much we would need with good suggestions on managing drainage. My only complaint is that my 1.5 yards of base and 3 yards of stone just got delivered and it is in one big pile... with the base underneath the stone. Previous small deliveries of rock from another company had a separator in the truck so that they dumped one, moved a few feet and dumped the other. When I called after delivery I was told that this is just how they do it.

Good location to pick up some soil and mulch. Theyll do half cubic yards. Herbs have grown well in the front flower bed with their sandy loam and compost mix.

I hurried after work to get to Classic Rock before they closed, excited to pick out some rock. I have been doing business with them for years and Brody is wonderful. I pulled up next to a stack of Austin stone blocks so that I could load my truck with some to finish our landscaping, and the woman that works there walked up and was with another customer. She told me I needed to move my truck so that she wouldn’t hit me with her loader. I asked her where she would like me to move and she waved her hand as if I needed to park way far away. I told her I would be hand loading my vehicle so didn’t want to park too far away and if it would be ok to pull up several feet to load. She was short with me, told me yes, if I didn’t mind getting hit, and embarrassed me in front of the other customer. I turned my truck around and just left. Customer service comes first with me, even over price. I would rather drive further and pay more than be treated that way.

Ordered 5 yrs for $275, delivered 3 and would not make it right and argued that it was 5, after I had several people tell me it wasnt, and I know it wasnt from past experience. I am ordering 5 more from another company today and will take pictures for comparison. Will update.Update; Here is the little pile of dirt they gave me. The guy from FB marketplace in Garland Luis brought us twice that much for $160 !So we bought 3 more. And this guy said something about my reviews, unfortunately I dont post enough about good companies, but I will start. Sorry thats going help you. 4 different people, said it was short, it was obvious. Your driver called and was at the wrong address. Maybe there is your problem ?

1st and 2nd trip was great. 3rd trip they were busy and all customer service went out the window. When I asked how long it would be to get my 1/2 load the owner got ride and said she’d get to me as soon as she could. I tried to be polite but she walked off flaying her hand in the air talking about pain in the neck customers! Not a place for residential customer!!

Was very disappointed in the customer service. The woman was extremely rude. We will gladly pay the extra $3 and go to Starr Turf where they are kind and respectful to their customers.

Ive placed 4 orders in the last year and havent had any issues. The people who delivered have always been nice. I would like to add that on my last order they thought I was a prank caller. I wasnt providing them with the proper information I probably sounded like a bafoon. They thought I was Jake from State Farm. But they helped me figure out what i needed. I personally havent been to their site but look forward to going at some point. Ill post pictures of the rocks if I can figure out how.

Well not sure about the Class part in their slogan. Horrible experience. I clearly told the man who approached us we needed 1 ton of stone on a pallet and told him my husband called and spoke with a lady. He said well she is pulling up now. I told her the same and they loaded almost 2 tons. When I said only one, she said okay well Ill give you a pallet and start unloading, this isnt Brookshires... HahaReally?!?Okay, you can take that whole pallet and Ill take my business to AAA Sand and Stone and gladly pay $15 more!

I called CR to speak with the manager. The woman who picked up was rude right off the bat. The phone call dropped because my phone is a hunk of junk. It ended up freezing and turning on and off for an hour. Well later on in the evening my phone showed I had a voicemail (no missed call)Hello this is classic rock either the call got dropped and Im calling you back or you hung up and in that case your a F***ing B*tch ...To leave such an awful message over an ASSumption is incredibly unprofessional.Might want to put such a miserable person away from the phone.

I needed some rocks for around my pool but didn’t want it to look like a regular pool so the amazing employee Brody helped my find the coolest rocks! 10/10

Very disappointed and borderline angry with the delivery of my flagstone. $45 extra to have them back a truck up into my driveway and literally flip over and drop a full 2000 lbs pallet of stone onto my driveway. Several broken pieces, Oh and they even left the pallet on top of the pile! Hopefully the concrete drive isnt damaged.

We visited classic rock saturday. first trip there, we were given a few free samples to take home and try out and see what would work for our house. we came back later that day and told another employee that turned out to be the owners middle son which rock we wanted and that we wanted three tubs full of it (which we showed him). i asked how they weighed it as i was used to the professional way Pearson Stone in Lavon does it (you drive onto a scale before and after you load the stone so you have an accurate measurement of what you have bought). the young man told us he could eye ball it and based on the stone we wanted and the size of the tubs, the cost would be $20-25. i even asked again if they wanted to weigh it. his response was it was too much work, just go load the tubs and come pay. it was over 100 degrees outside and we loaded the tubs ourselves and drove over to pay. when we went inside, the young man was no where to be found but his mom who claims to be the owner was. she came out to our car and tells us we owe her $55. i politely told her what the young man had said. she said that was her middle boy, shes the mom, shes the owner, and what she says is the only thing that matters, all while flailing her arms in the air. we then had to unload the stone in over 100 degree heat as i was not going to fall for the bait and switch routine and pay more than double what we were quoted. dont waste your time with this company. go to Pearson Stone in Lavon where you will be treated fairly and with respect!

Actually the location is wrong on this map. Its more towards Rockwall.. I love this place. And it sou ds like angie is another Rockwall house wife born with a silver spoon in her mouth used to everyone doing everything for her... And by the way.. that middle son, is probably the sweetest person on this planet. He will work his lil skinny fingers to the bone to make people like angie happy.
