Hope you know exactly what your looking for because the employees at this location will completely ignore you, page an associate in that department and make it known they are too busy to stop and help a customer. The customer service desk is fast BUT lacks organization. 4 stars because it is clean, organized, stocked up and who doesnt love home depot???

There is a shortage of supplies across our great nation. Home Depot has always helped complete my project by having every item in stock. The Rockwall store has outstanding customer service and had the metal post no other stores had at reasonable prices. Kudos Home Depot.

Clean store. Cashiers greet you at ck out.BUT!!!Getting someone that works the floor to say hello or help you questions??? No!7 floor workers passed me....not a SINGLE hello or can I help you?? I called the store # and asked for customer service on isle 14. There was about 5-6 on the isle. We all needed some help it looked like. Young girl finally showed up..answered one question to ONE customer and puff she was gone like a cool breeze on a hot summer day!WTH???? This store has for a few years been in decline when it comes to floor service.Bad enough when you can not reach items high so you can find out if thats what you need! But no customer recognition???Truly makes me question if I will spend money at this store. Management needs to working the floor at all times!

Great selection, clean store. Customer service can be hit or miss. Try to find someone if you can, having someone called doesnt guarantee someone will come, but the people that will actually pay attention to you are very helpful.

Anytime I need to do me some home improvement, I always go to The Home Depot. They use to have a little higher prices, but now they seem to actually be more reasonable. The employees are always friendly and helpful when you need something. The store is pretty much fully stocked and you can get it there on the first trip. Home Depot makes large charitable contributions to nonprofits and in the community, which is important to me.

I can’t say enough good things about Home Depot in Rockwall. Every time I go in, I find exactly what I need. The folks at the Customer Service desk are always helpful. Morgan helped me in the lumber department recently. She was clearly on a mission, but stopped what she was doing to me out. It was very much appreciated. Thank you Morgan.

Workers will help you with find the right things to the job right the first time.Clean but sometimes hot in there. And now everything is going up in prices.

One of the three 5 gallon buckets of paint we had mixed here ended up being a different shade than the others. The assistant manager (Tamara I think was her name) was amazing, she helped us get a replacement that better matched the original and called another store to have them physically check if a certain other paint was available there (because she didnt have any). This is why Ill always shop and be a share holder of home depot, they understand how to treat customers.

Everything i need - here. The work staff keeps shelves stocked and offer to help, especially if youre lost.

I ordered a product online and they put it in one of there pick up lockers. Turns out what they gave me was someone elses return. Normally not a big deal. This was supposed to have 2 in a pack, but what I received only had 1. They did a return for me, no problem. This return they sold me was also the only one of that item in the store.The reason I only gave a 4 instead of a 5 is because I do not give 5 for meeting my expectations. A 5 would have been if they had offered to order me the correct item, and/or had not given me a product with a missing item.

This Home Depot Had Everything I Was Looking For And The Employees Are Very Knowledgeable, Which Mean That If You Are Looking For An Item They Will Be Sure To Point To Correct Direction. .

Had to make a quick trip to get some shop vac bags. Walked in looking lost and the lady in pain asked what I was looking for. Told her I needed shop vac accessories and she directed me to aisle 13. Found what I needed and was in and out in 5 minutes. Friendly check out as well!

All around terrible experience with their installation services and customer service. If you are thinking of using Home Depot for any counter,carpet, or any other home Reno service then run in the other direction. They will be cheaper, but it’s been over 12 weeks and I have no carpet or countertops for reasons other than typical/expected COVID delays. When I go into the store to talk to Jay the manager (since calling gets you no where) he acts as if your existence and questioning is a huge inconvenience to him. Pay the extra money, go local with someone that cares.

There were no prices on most of the fencing. Three young male employees were on the aisle cursing and I had my two toddlers and wife with me. I certainly do not recommend this store.They cannot keep their prices or their employees in order. Lowes is not far, its actually next to the Target in Rockwall. Go to Lowes.

In General:Garden staff is busy and will not seek you out to ask if you need help, but if you ask them for help, they will assist. I noticed that many employees were not sure what was on sale or what would go on sale for the next holiday (we just had memorial day sale and the 4th of july sale is coming up).Garden selection is decent and plants are in good condition overall. Things are well labeled (perennials vs annuals) and the tables/floor areas are pretty clean. No large pieces of debris from broken pallets. Weve purchased several plants (including flowering plants and a bush) recently and all have thrived so far. *Home Depot guarantees plants for 1 year after purchase so if you purchase plants and they die, bring them back with the receipt and theyll replace it. I usually opt to have my receipts mailed to me so that I dont have to worry about keeping track of them.It can be difficult to find a flat cart if you need one so make sure to check the cart corrals on your way into the store.Most recent visit: 29Jun2021:I went to purchase more potting soil and the flat cart I was using wouldnt turn very well. I actually had to manhandle it a bit. I would suggest that carts be maintained a bit better for customer safety.When I went to the register, the cashiers were friendly enough, but there was an issue with one of the tills and they had to switch over to a secondary till. This was fine, but nothing was communicated to the people waiting in line (there was at least 6 people behind the lady at the till). In my opinion, at minimum, there should have been a quick comment to the people waiting in line and an apology.After switching over to the other till, coincidentally, it was also time to rotate associates at the garden till. When I went up to check out, the new cashier was still chatting with the previous cashier and completely ignored me for about 40 seconds - even after I lifted a bag of dirt onto the counter and offered her the barcode for scanning. I ended up having to raise my eyebrows and say, excuse me to get her attention. This was unfortunate because I really like coming to home depot.Id appreciate a better customer service moving forward.

Better selection of most things than Lowes.

This people (99% ) of them always know their store geographically speaking. Friendly and most important I have noticed that the associates always have technical knowledge of the area they cover and that always helps saving you time and to make the right purchase. Good employees, at this store and most HomeDepots I go to.

Everyone is so nice. The app said they had a product that was not on the shelf so they pulled down a pallet to get it down.

On this visit to the Rockwall Home Depot I was very pleased at the help I got in the plumbing department. I had a tough issue to resolve and had three different people trying to help me. Even though it was pretty crowded these guys did a good job of helping everybody there. The only downside to this store is getting in and out of the parking lot being right there on Interstate 30 Frontage Road.

We just moved to Rockwall and have been frequently going to the Rockwall Home Depot for our home remodel/repair needs. We had an issue with the bathroom vanity we purchased and Steven (manager?) was extremely helpful with our exchange. We also really appreciated David, he got the vanity down and helped us out to our car. David was very friendly and willing to help. Thank you Steven and David for negative experience into a positive one. Well be back again soon.

Great place to buy covid N95 masks

Came in to order carpet today, 2 workers were there. The white older guy was with the customer literally FOREVER. The black guy was on the phone also literally FOREVER. Dropped the carpet and left the store. Ordering carpet should be about taking an order and fulfilling it, NOT ABOUT CHITCHATTING ON THE PHONE 45 MINUTES AT A TIME.

I am crying my eyes out right now because of the way I was treated. I wanted to buy new plants for my garden but I couldnt without being harassed by Asset Protection. I am never going to shop here again. Thank you for alienating me and treating me like a criminal. Lowes has better prices on their gardening stuff any way. So congrats on losing a customer.

Terrible service. I waited for 3 months to get my things fixed and when I came back, they said they couldnt do what I wanted. Awful. I do not recommend Home Depot.

They have there moments, sometimes there are out of products that they should be full of. Sometimes there staff are rude and don’t want to help you. Most of the time it’s just me focused on what I need and someone being there to check me out.

Theyre well stocked, the app and website item location feature is accurate. the only reason I didnt rate it at 5 stars is because how long it took me to find someone to help me with an item. I went to Rockwall Home Depot on Last Sunday and ordered a riding lawnmower, paid and been told will be delivered on Wed, called them again on Tuesday to confirm the delivery next day. Been told someone will call me one hour before. Both my husband And I took one day off, wait for our new lawnmower, nobody called. So I called them again, hold a long time, they told me they don’t have it in inventory. Due these four days, anyone who cares could make a phone call to notice. Shame! I will not go to this store anymore!

I was looking for a pull chain attic light fixture with a plug, an employee told me she had not seen any. At least you should walk the customer over to the area where the item should be and show me that there isnt any. Lazy _ _ _ people in stores.

I would like to thank Hanna in customer service for her help. I purchased a complete toilet and after installing it I noticed that the lid for the tank was missing. I called back and talk to Hanna and she told me I could come back and get one. I told her I could not make it back until Friday. She said that would be fine and she wrote my information down and when I got back she remembered talking to me and got me taken care of right away. This was nice because these days people don’t even want to say hi to you. Great customer service Hanna.

I am a loyal customer who shops here on a regular basis. Normally the customer service is very friendly and good. However, today was ridiculous. As I was checking out, The fan I was trying to purchase had no price tag. It was only one on floor. Maisen in a feeble attempt to look it up told me without a price She was unable to sell it to me! So I told her to call the manager over to see if he/she could be of help. Maisen in a irritated reply told me my manager cant help you thats not her job! Lol. Wow. I asked to please get one anyway. She instead called on another employee. Carson to the rescue! In under a minute he had a price. However Maisen had such an attitude I asked Carson to check me out which he did. He apologised for her lack of service and unprofessional behavior. Maisen needs basic 101 customer service education and how a business grows by repeat customers and good service! Upon leaving she had to be childish and smirk at me as another customer stood there. Funny since she had just undercharged a customer who was nice enough to let Ms. Congeniality know!

Outstanding! Personally, for whatever reason, I’ve often utilized Lowe’s as my “first choice.” That has been entirely changed due to just one visit to this Home Depot in Rockwall, TX. At a time when half the state was without electricity (including this Home Depot!), these folks stood up and took care of the community as best they could. The actions taken by this Home Depot on this particular day (18 hours into the rolling blackouts amidst single digit temperatures) have raised the bar! Major thanks to everyone who dealt with the numerous customers on that day— all without power, running off generators! This was literally the only retail location of ANY kind open in the area— and it was EXACTLY the type that was needed. The following morning, they even brought in pallets of water (something not typically available here), limiting to 1 case per-customer. All of this was simply amazing, and there’s no doubt the choice made to stay open on this particular night saved multiple families from unknown financial and personal losses due to any number of factors, as essential supplies were available when needed the most (e.g., plumbing, lighting, fixtures, batteries, etc.). Amazing!

Taylor the cashier, was so rude. He give me lecture on how the price change recently cause of covid. Covid been a round for year! I just bought this item last week. Today when I went to buy the same item it rang up differently, but the price on the shelf was the same. He give me attitude and started naming other items that have gone up. I guess if other items going up, accordingly to him. Ill go some where else.

Spent time with master gardener Jack. He helped me with my yard and flower bed issues. He is a very valuable asset to have with his wealth of knowledge.

Always have what your looking for and friendly employees who are very knowledgeable.

I will never do business at this location in rockwall Texas again. I went to, purchase a weed eater and was told by one of the employees that the manager told them that I looked like I was stealing and to watch me.i still made a purchase but I should have left there and kept my money in my pocket. If I were anything like I used to be I wouldve cussed her out and left everything that I purchased right in the middle of the floor. I have never been so mad at being stereotyped by the color of my skin. And the crazy part is the manager is the same race as I am...SMH..

Customer service is terrible. Went in to get some pvc pipes cut for my business. Couldn’t find someone to help but once I finally found someone this older guy acted like he didn’t want to help me. He was sitting in the aisle looked at me three times and didn’t ask if I needed help. A white couple walked on the aisle and he rushed to help them. Then he decided to help me but then was rushing what I needed and didn’t want to cut the pipes at the length I needed. This is very unprofessional for this kind of company. I will be contacting corporate

Load out for materials is ungodly slow sometimes, the layout is probably the worst out of any home depot i have been to. The people are nice but you usually have to find help. They are never just around asking if you need help unless its a person trying to sell you solar, or a new ac, or have you upgraded your windows.

Love the prices but I hate that the staff does not know where anything is. On various occasions they have had us go from one corner of the store to the opposite side and then back. They keep saying that stuff has been moved around but I see everything is the same.

Horrible. Bad customer service, the kitchen department, awful. I am so disappointed and frustrated.

As a guy i always love a trip to home depot they have a huge selection of nearly everything. the only problem I have is a serious lack of customer service.

This store has gotten awful. Main aisle is stuffed with display merchandise, stock is lacking and dis-organized, and workers are dis-gruntled. Poor management is obvious. This is the second visit where I walked out without getting the basic item I needed since they were out of stock.

We came and got what we needed, so much better then having to go to Walmart. Plus the lines usually go a lot faster too lol. Love all Home Depot stores!

Went there with daughter to get material for a project. We had great help from an associate Santina who was very helpful and knowledgeable. And patient. We went all over the facility to find the material that we required. Huge help!!!

I have found within the last year that everytime I go to Home Depot in Rockwall I can NEVER get anyone to help me find what Im looking for. The times I have found someone that was willing, they had no idea where it was either. The only thing that keeps me going back, is that the prices I feel are lower than Lowes. I do commend them for employing people during this pandemic, however more training does need to be evaluated.

I love Home Depot. Especially the patio and the plants department. My dad always took me to hardware stores. I just love the smell of the fresh cut wood.

Cody out in the Garden was beyond helpful, you could tell he was really busy, but as soon as we had question he stopped and was exceptionally helpful, he didn’t stop talking to us and made sure we left with everything we needed, and even made a run to plumbing for us because he knew the part we needed and where it was, so we didn’t have to go down there and search for it. He was super respectful and great.

Its no secret that this store, in any state, doesnt have very good customer service. Tons of employees standing around talking, but when you need help, none to be found. Or they walk right past you, hoping you dont stop them to ask for help. They do have a large variety of Christmas trees and outdoor decorations.

My dishwasher went out this morning. I couldn’t seem to find what I wanted online so I thought I would try going to both big box stores just to see if they had something that would work. Imagine my surprise when I entered the Rockwall location to find SEVERAL patrons not wearing a mask and workers with the mask below their nose. Texas is at an all time high and Home Depot only puts the sign on the door while ignoring people that don’t adhere to their “rules”. I immediately left and purchased from Lowe’s!!!!

For some reason I would thing that the middle of January you would find lots of firewood. Nope, not here. They had five bundles and said they would be getting no more. Firestarter logs, nope, not here. Plus they have nothing but self check lanes. Customer service isnt having the customer doing all the work. Been years since I was here and it will be years until I go back

A staple go to for every homeowner

Ran in to get paint to do window seals and base boards. The isle I needed was temporarily closed. The gentleman working on the isle must have seen my disappointment and asked what I needed. I told him, he told me to come on in got down from his perch and handed me exactly what I needed. I didnt get his name but he provided excellent customer service. I have always had a great experience here with customer service, no complaints but this time was just really exceptional.
