This place is soo good, its ridiculous. Ive been coming here for quite some time and have yet to leave disappointed!First of all, the managers special which is the western bagel is the best thing in the world. I used to really like Einstein bagel back in the day, but this is several level superior!Secondly, although bit my favorite, for a super healthy bagel, the Brooklyn bagel is still pretty tasty!I definitely encourage anyone to give the bagel lady a try and be wowed!

Ok! We have been wanting to try The Bagel Lady for a long time, so we finally went in this morning. First the pros: the ladies who we interacted with were really nice and helpful, the shop is cute, the bagels are good. Now the cons: The biggest ☹- eggs were being cracked and raw egg was dripping from a knife that was used to mix the egg, onto a counter that the bagels were cut on. That is a no-go for me personally, because salmonella. The line was long, which is a good sign, but they literally ran out of the bagel we were all planning to order 2 people before us which was disappointing, so know yo get there early to get your bagels of choice. Next, the bagel with lox sandwich, half pictured in this review, is 10.95. For me again, that is about 5 dollars more than what I would really want to pay for that amount of salmon/effort. The other egg bagel sandwiches were reasonably priced, so for our family of five, the total was about 50$. I do really enjoy supporting local business and homegrown endeavors, and I really wanted to have a better experience. Unfortunately, we will most likely not be returning.

I have been looking for a place to get a good breakfast sandwich and I finally found it. They have many different homemade bagels and cream cheese spreads, plus other baked goods. I ordered “The Western” breakfast sandwich and loved it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be coming here often.

First time visitors. We had some sandwiches, and took some tabouli, pickled beets and 1/2 dozen bagels home. Everything tasted fresh, homemade and authentic. Service was also great, attentive and made you feel like a long-time customer at home.

It’s not often you find a good bagel shop in Texas. I grew up outside of New York and am always looking for a good place. The lox was tasty and not overpriced. Finding out it is Jewish owned was a huge plus! I’ll be back soon.

Amazing family!! Amazing bagels too, if youve ever been to New York or anywhere near there then you know what a good bagel is, the bagel lady is an authentic bagel lady not a store chain knock off bagel lady. So get up in the morning and get down there and get your yummy bagels you will NOT!! be disappointed!!

Delicious food served by a warm and friendly staff. I love about an hour away from this place, but it is worth the drive.

Bagels are amazing, but the pastries are equally amazing to me. My son LOVED the black and white cookie and my raspberry scone was delicious. Everyone that works there is very attentive and loves to tell you about their products. We met the owner’s brother who made us feel like we were a guest in his home.

So sad to leave a negative review for such a great family/locally owned restaurant. We placed an order online for 7 bagels at 10:28 AM. At 10:30 I get a call to verify my order. At 10:42 I get a call saying “ a huge rush came in and we ran out of every bagel.” I respond “so a huge rush comes in and your not able to pull my online order at 10:30, so now your out.” And the employee blames it on “new people.” I ask to speak to the owner who says “it will be ready in 10 minutes.” I show up to the restaurant at 11:08 and my order was not ready nor started. So I go to my car and wait 15 minutes for the employee to prepare my order. Once getting home, the bagels had little flavor (yes, it was a fresh bagel, however the blueberry bagel tasted like a plain bagel) and the cream cheese was not on the side as requested. I would hate to see the quality of the legendary bagel and service decline. Crossing my fingers on improvements the next go around!

Amazing hand-rolled bagels in 12 different varieties, scratch-made spreads, and other amazing bites like the Bagel Dog and the Eggel (bagel with egg, cheese and sausage). They serve Gearhead Coffee as well, plus fresh cookies and other pastries. The owner is amazing. Be sure to stop by for breakfast or lunch!

Indefinitely the best place you havent tried yet. You must try it and I can tell you without a doubt you wont be disappointed by anything you order. I got the pastrami sandwich and Im going to tell you up front that it will change your life forever. Youll never be able to enjoy any other pastrami sandwich because you will always remember this sandwich! However Ill be back to try everything!

I seen them on Facebook for a while but first time trying them for myself, It was amazing.The taste of the bagels were so fresh and you could taste the love in each bite. I purchased two bagel sandwiches one on a cheese and jalapeno bagel and the other on a onion bagel and they were both amazing. I will say a bit pricey, but well worth it. The service was top notch took great care of me. Will definitely be back for more...

This is a very brand new place that just opened in rockwall a few days ago. My wife and I come from the northeast where we have ample amount of bagel places. When we moved to Texas until today there really was not a good bagel shop. We went to the shop over the weekend and the bagels are to die for. They have an excellent flavor and the cream cheese is homade.I rated a five star since the core food is great but there are 2 areas of improvement. We got coffee there and it was very low quality (folgers kind). Wierdly they sell high quality coffee but they dont use that coffee ground in the drinks themselves. Doing so would be a great way to market the coffee they are selling. 2nd the flow is very woerd when going into the resturant. Upon entry you are in front of the bagel counter but that is not where you place your order, instead you need to go around to the counter at the other end to place your order. Signage could help with order flow especially during high volume times. Overall Im excited to have the Bagel Lady for when I want tasty and high quality bagels at an affordable price point

Stopped in today before an appointment. Gentleman was very friendly and helpful. I ordered the pastrami sandwich per his recommendation. Went to the cashier to pay for the sandwich and water and it was $14. Everything he said was on the sandwich was and extra charge. The sandwich was okay but not worth for what it cost. I am not able to post a picture of the sandwich.

We are new to the area and dropped in for a little breakfast. Wow! Warm atmosphere, helpful staff and GREAT coffee and bagels. Chatted with the owner and her family for a while about our new hometown. This type of restaurant and the people in it are the very reason we picked Rockwall to settle down in. The bagels were as good or better then anything we have had in New York City (or South Florida!), and we bought a bag of the coffee they were serving to enjoy at home. Looking forward to becoming a regular here!

Love love love this place. The bagels are delicious. I had the jalapeno cheese bagel with lox. Its one of those treats that you say this is so good after every bite. I cant wait to try the pastries (they have a guava flavored one - hello) and the bagel dogs. I ordered her bagels when she sold them out of her home and this was my first time in her store. The owner is so friendly. I always see her greeting patron and checking on service. This is locally owned place that Im very proud to support.

Been here 3 times so far. Its a bit out of the way to go for just a bagel, but they are good. Everything is made on the premises. The Mediterranean salads, cuscus, bagels, pastrami.....just get there, try it.I dont know what happened this week. They are closed until the 5th.

Excellent customer service! My husband and I have been looking for a good bagel shop close to us. You can really tell that they take pride in all their bagels. They’re fantastic and reasonably priced in comparison to another Bagel shop near SMU (I won’t mention their name..) We tried 4 different bagels and 2 egg sandwiches (eggles) the Asiago Jalapeño was so good and my husband loved the jalapeño shmear. They also introduced me to this amazing Zhug sauce, which I put all over my bagel. I ended up eating the whole thing before we got home! We will be back for more 😊

Very Good! NY style bagels here, so a little different from what Im used to. The Lox Bagel and Everything Dog is delicious. Staff was nice. The restroom was my favorite part. They provide you chalk to draw on the walls! 🤣 They sell various cream cheeses and will go back to try more.

I’ve been a couple times now and the food was excellent however, on both occasions there was a gentleman worker who was not wearing a mask. He was the only worker not wearing a mask and this disturbed me because the safety and health of others wasn’t of any concern to him.
