The staff was excellent! Sam worked with us on our purchase and was very knowledgeable about the car, warranty options, etc., and the support staff was courteous and proficient.The only difficulty we had was whether factory warranty was transferrable after original owner. Sam believed it was, but I insisted on getting written confirmation, and we discovered it wasnt. (The fine print clued me in that it might not be - always read and ask questions).Of course, do your homework and be prepared to show comparables for price negotiation (though theyre competitively priced, so not much room to negotiate).

I recently purchased a car from Montrose Motors and was very happy with the service. Both Rafael and Sam were great to work with. They do price their cars reasonably and for a small dealership, their customer service is very good.I drove the car home and in the night I wanted to go for a drive. The car wouldnt start. I thought it was a dead battery and tried to jump start it, but still didnt work. I called the dealer the next morning and they sent a mechanic to my house to check the car. It turned out to be a lose battery terminal. So I was very impressed with how quickly they acted on it.They do seem like good, honest people. If you are in the market for a used car, definitely check them out.

Sam was previously mentioned negatively, in a past review.From my perspective I would have to say that Sam does know quite a lot about sales and professionalism.Although I have not decided for sure yet, if I do decide on the car I test drove, I will ask for Sam to be involved.Sam is personable, professional is very knowledgable on the details to look for when purchasing a vehicle.Also,I was very happy with Montrose Motors no pressure approach. Every employee I encountered was friendly and engaging.

Want a good used car? This is the place to go. I had been watching a couple of different vehicles over several months. One came up with the year, the miles and the price I couldnt pass up. Test drove it twice and bought it. Then the engine light (emissions issue) came only 5 days later. No problem. Montrose motors took care of it with no hassle. I found a truck for my Okul I called the company and asked about the truck they told me it had undergone a 100 point inspection my uncle went to buy the truck had it for about a week in the truck broke down oil pan gasket was gone front wheel bearing was about to come off or stick bracket broke off and when we tried to call the Company back to speak to a manager or someone to take care of this problem because it was under warranty we kept getting the runaround or hung up on and no returned phone calls.

Bought a used Honda Civic here a few months ago, to come to find out after seeing a clean carfax that day, it was a FLOOD damaged vehicle by running the vin again. Numerous other issues with the car, AC broken, Pass Seat inoperable, rear defrost not working, spedometer no longer works....STAY AWAY from this place....I dont like posting bad reviews but this place deserves it.

Purchased a Subaru Impreza for a decent price and was given a warranty for 50% pay by them and myself. I didnt notice there was a gash on the passenger side and when I informed them, they didnt really offer to help fix it. They took care of the parts we spoke about, the center console (broken) and a sensor. Took the car after a few issues to 2 mechanics and the Subaru Dealership and was told there were issues with the Torque Converter, the car was stalling and had an oil leak. Took it back and was told to take it to their Transmission person, who filled it with 4Qts of Transmission Fluid and it worked again, but still had a leak. Took it back and their Transmission guy found nothing, so I took it back to another mechanic and was told head gasket was the issue and also bad Caliper on the car causing a bad squeal. Took it to a 5th mechanic and again Torque Converter was sticking and head gasket leak. $3800 later and I had my car working with a caliper change next . I paid $3,000 less than CarMax, but ended up spending over $4,000 on repairs and 7 months of back and forth and still a gash on the door to fix. Beware of what you are purchasing and be prepared to pay for fixes when you purchase a used vehicle from a smaller company. I am not gonna lie, I love the car, but in the future I will go to a company that is better on honoring their warranty. I have kept my documents in the event that I am able to move forward with a legal claim, but will wait until I have gotten all the work needed done since the bad caliper has caused the wheel to go very hot and made it very unsafe. My 2 star is based on the warranty that was not honored after I presented them documents from the dealership (after paying 200 for the inspections) that showed the Torque Converter, Alignment, Flushes and Head Gasket leak.
