Last week was my daughters first experience with DARCARS Volvo on her recently purchased 2016 XC60, and we could not be more pleased. We had previous very good service from DARCARS Jeep, so this was not really a major surprise.Yet due to a glitch in the initial extended warranty information from Volvo, there was some initial frustration (no fault of DARCARS.) However, their service manager was as gracious as he was professional in ultimately getting our repair done timely, and making sure we were availed of our loaner long enough to complete the slightly distended process.Kudos to him and his team, who we look forward to dealing with in future.

Horrible dealership at the hands of its management. Unethical practices. Bought a used car from them and the night it stayed on the lot, a driver for the dealership damaged the car. General Manager said it was my risk for leaving the car overnight and not leaving at the time of the negotiation. RUN from this dealership. There are plenty of better Volvo dealerships in the DC area -- Don Beyer namely.

10 years ago Darcars vw helped me purchased my last car and I absolutely had an amazing experience. I knew when it was time to go back I would go back to Darcars .. this time we tried Volvo and Talbot was very sweet and charismatic! He told us all about Volvo and the features and was very professional!Unfortunately the day we came to purchase the car he had already left for the day and we had to make the “deal” with Cristela (very professional as well) and the sales manager Kevin. I do hope Talbot makes the deal or gets a raise bc he was truly great. The final steps were quick and the finance dept was efficient. I would encourage just 1 small but very important tip … if you have a couple coming in to purchase a car .. pay attention to the wife and not simply focus on the husband bc you assume she doesn’t know or understands anything or won’t be the decision maker …. It was slightly frustrating getting interrupted and dismissed considering.. I know more about cars .. i was purchasing the car and I was the decision maker ..so do better on that end please …

It’s been a long time since I purchased a car and I never purchased a Volvo before. The great customer service started with my phone call with Talbot to set up time to see a car I had seen online. When I went in, the wonderful customer service continued. Talbot explained everything, was patient with me (and all my questions), and even helped me clean out my traded car when I decided to go ahead with my purchase. Everyone else - manager, finance, tech support were great also. I left with the car I wanted and felt like I got the best deal I could. I would definitely recommend this dealership! I purchased a new volvo less than a year ago at Darcars Volvo. It has been in the shop for the same exact thing 6 times and has not been resolved. It is very frustrating as the dealer blames Volvo corporate and Volvo corporate blames the dealership. Either way, this is my first and last Volvo. Go buy an Audi or BMW... hell, go buy a Honda or Toyota.

The advisor did a good job taking care of my car’s problem with a explanation of time spending on replacement job. The only thing I am not satisfied with was the unwillingness to help me change front tires to rear. The reason why I am saying this is because Volvo’s service is famous for outstanding service where I come from. But all I asked was about to change, and it’s something easy to do when mechanics fix my rotation pads. In addition to that, by the time I went back for the service, it was within 7 days after I bought it from CPO department. Obviously, he followed the protocol and asked me to speak with CPO manager about my request. That’s something disappointments me. When I walked next door attempted to say that, I couldn’t find the manager. So I give up eventually. The whole situation can’t happen in my country’s service protocol.

Best car buying experience in 20yrs. I have owned Audi’s, Saab’s, Nissan’s, Subaru’s and also Volvo’s But never had such a pleasant and stress free experience in buying a car. On, May21st, 2021 around 10am; I spoke to sales manager Daniel Kwaw about 2019 s60 r-design. We discussed n finalized the price over the phone. I sent Daniel pic of my driver’s license n completed an online credit application.Since, I was flying from NY To Maryland to purchase the car, I wanted to make sure I crossed all the t’s and dotted all my i’s. Upon my arrival at the dealership, I was welcomed by Daniel. He showed me the car that we had initially finalized over the phone. After looking at the car, I came to the realization that it was not something I wanted to buy. Daniel was very courteous and stated that he had some more cars at the dealership that I could look at. After looking at 2-3 cars, Daniel was able to offer me a great deal on a 2020 S60 with only 4,500 miles! The whole process was seamless as well as quick and the best of all aspect of the purchase is that there were absolutely no hidden charges like most of the dealers would. In the end, I was able to drive back to New York in my beautiful and elegant 2020 Volvo S60. In my personal opinion, purchasing a car from Darcars Volvo in Maryland was definitely worth the trip. Once again, I would like to extend my personal thanks to Darcars Volvo of Rockville and a very special thanks to Daniel.

Everything was great at first, but then I found out they sold me a car with a hole on the trans, the warranty they sold me was a piece of toilet paper, warranty company didn’t cover anything I needed done. Had to come out of pocket 4200 dollars to replace the trans and continue to pay 19000 on a car I only had for 2 weeks before the transmission was no longer useable. GENERAL MANAGER told me I was on my own and that they weren’t going to do anything about.

We recently purchased a 2021 Volvo XC 60 from Darcars Volvo of Rockville. Collectively my husband and I have purchased over 30 cars in our lifetime. Never has our shopping and buying experience been as pleasant and seamless as it was at Volvo of Rockville, located just outside of Washington DC. From the moment we stepped into the showroom to driving our Volvo home the following day, we could not be more pleased.Our salesman, Emmanuel Rodriguez, also known as Manny, greeted us warmly. Before test driving the car, we sat for 30 minutes as he explained the various features of the XC 60. On the test drive, I opened up the 400 hp engine and used the Pilot Assist, a semi-autonomous feature that provides cruise control, lane control, and distance control from surrounding vehicles. The following week we drove the car over a thousand miles to visit my dad in Kansas City. My husband, a jazz aficionado, is thoroughly impressed with the Harmon Kardon premium audio system. John Coltrane and Miles Davis played throughout the vehicle and made for an enjoyable driving experience for septuagenarians.The stellar service continued after we purchased the vehicle. Manny provided us with his cell phone number with instructions to call him any time, day-night, if we had any questions about the vehicles operation. We have been been customers of Darcar’s of Rockville since the 1980’s. We have always been most impressed with the personalized care provided by all their staff. Darcar is well known for it’s service after the car has been purchased. Our most recent purchase was again most satisfactory. For example, the General Manager Alexander let us drive the XC 90 home in order to see if the car would fit in our garage, and it did. Our salesman Mohammad Mostafavi answered all our questions and was most patient with us while learning all the technology in our fabulous new XC 90. The staff was also able to obtain the exact color and accessories we desired from another dealer in Baltimore. Darcar of Rockville is certainly a 5 Star dealership.

Best car buying experience Ive ever had. Paola did a no pressure, great job in explaining the different trim levels and accessories; discussed with us what we need and what made sense; drove the car; and the finance guys gave us a quote a few minutes later (no unnecessary waits).Most importantly, they started with a reasonable price. We had been shopping for a while and knew the reasonable prices range. Unlike every other experience that weve had, they started at the reasonable point.We were out in roughly two hours with a new car, leasing process included (which took no more than 20 minutes).

When it came time to replace my 20-year-old V70, I decided to take advantage of Volvo’s generous Overseas Delivery program. I bought a car from Darcars Volvo 8/26/20. I had a poor experience. There was a small crack on my windshield when I drove it off the lot. This was covered by marketing signs when I took it for a test drive so I could not see the area. I called within a few minutes of leaving the dealership. I told them I had just found this small crack and they proceeded to call me a liar and that I must have caused the crack. My wife and I did all we could speaking with Volvo corporate. However, the dealer manger worked to destroy the new car buying experience for me and my wife. Was dissatisfied beyond any way I could have dreamed up. Buy here with extreme caution.

Their attentiveness when walking into their facility, their willingness to accommodate my requests, and the speed in which they worked was remarkable and extremely rare to find at other car dealerships. They made the process of purchasing a new vehicle a comfortable experience and were warm and welcoming the whole time. I would highly recommend friends and family come visit them at Darcars Volvo for their future vehicle purchases.

Im not sure what type of dark arts magic Manny @ DARCARS conjured up to get me the deal I wanted, but I am very thankful. He was able to destroy the price of four other dealerships in the MD/VA area on the specific XC40 I wanted. ...and also, hes seriously just the nicest dude on the planet. Extremely friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure I was satisfied with my deal. He explained everything step by step, and answered every single question I came up with. We need more people like this dude at dealerships! I also briefly met with a few other Volvo people there, and they too were very friendly and greeted me with smiles. Strange... everything seemed so smooth and effortless. Im not used to that when dealing with dealerships. This is easily the best experience with a car dealership Ive ever had. I highly recommend this place if youre looking for a great deal on a Volvo.

Purchased a vehicle from Volvo a few months ago. I was happy with my salesperson. However, I had a few complaints so I went to manager D. After complaining to him instead of D addressing the situation his remark as a “so-called manager was that he did not know anything about cars. I felt this was a dump response and he behaved like where he came from in that part of the world cars do not exist. As a manager in charge at a dealership he was supposed to ensure the customer was satisfied and not act like it was about the money only. The car was already purchased so it appears that he did not care. First and last purchase from this company. If I could have given this company no stars that would have been better. Thumbs down from me.

Manny (and Alex and everyone else who helped me) was very responsive to emails and phone calls. They took the time to listen to me, understand my needs and found me the exact car I wanted. No surprises and no glitches - couldnt ask for more.

It was a total pleasure to work with the gentleman Mr. Alex Pedram. I called at least 9 Volvo dealers in 4 states for a specific new car. DARCARS is out of state for me but they are the one. The right selection plus the sweet discount sealed the deal. Their efficiency, honesty, respect of customers intelligence( Trust me I do have my fare share of calling back from some other dealers either asking again and again for my requirement, or informing me that they found the one for me and turns out totally off, or trying to persuade me that I can do better with a different car) are impressive, not mentioning being friendly. Driving off went smoothly. Also thanks to Manny who was pretty nice and helpful.Additionally, when I was unsure of their too-good-to-be-true-price I looked at here for their reviews. The fact that each every review has a response says how much they care about the customers and their reputation. That earned my trust.

This is where we bought our Volvo XC70 five yrs ago. We had to get battery changed in one of the remotes. It was $13 but they did it in about 10 min. Staff very friendly and go the extra mile..

The Assistant Sales Manager took care that I understood options and that I was comfortable while waiting for the work to be completed. The car was returned fully washed inside and out. The Assistant Manager went over the work that had been done before accompanying me to the car. Exceptional service since the beginning.

I would stay FAR AWAY from this Service Department, especially if you are female and minority. I brought my car in for service. Alex was pleasant but he didnt appear well knowledgeable. He had the Service Manager come to address my concern. Firstly, Alex mentioned that Based on the condition of my car...it could not be covered under warranty. My car is in impeccable condition for its year and can be verified by at least two dealerships and other experts in the automotive field. Yes, this irritated me because I knew my vehicle is in excellent condition. I wonder if this is the pitch they give customers to get them to pay for work WITHOUT even first considering warranty coverage. Secondly, the Service Manager, then incorrectly stated a part was hanging off my vehicle and when we went outside to take a closer look, he RETRACTED his statement. Yes, this infuriated me as Alex slipped my key into my bag as I took pictures of my vehicle. I would NOT trust these people at ALL!!!! The managerial staff should be knowledgeable, speak the truth regarding information given to customers and not make up information. Specifically the Service Manager stated, There are twenty clips, for a part that obviously he knew nothing about. I guess he must have presumed I was not an educated consumer because of my gender and ethnicity, and the fact that I may appear younger than my stated age.I understand it is more profitable to have consumers to pay for work that maybe or could be, covered by factory warranty. But to what measures will a Service Dept Manager and Assistant Manager go to do this? Making false statements? I recognized and was forewarned prior to my appointment to check if my factory warranty covered my repair.I am happy consumers have options and glad I could return to the dealership where I purchased my vehicle. I only went here because they had the first availability. Other area Volvo Service Departments are more forthcoming with customers and not producing Alternative Facts. I had a friend on the telephone throughout my entire interaction at this dealership and the conversation was heard, what was stated and how poorly I was treated! If it happened to me, it could happen to you! Consumer be aware!

This is an amazing place to buy or lease a Volvo. Such a great team of people with special shout-outs to Dante, Daniel, Alexander, and Mike. It was truly a pleasure and we will definitely continue to do business with these wonderful folks, even though there are other Volvo dealerships closer to us. It was worth every extra mile we drove to get there. They were never pressuring, explained everything we wished to know. This has been the absolute WORST car buying experience of my life. I bought a brand new XC60 hybrid late last year and have had electrical issues with the car since day two of driving off the lot. It began with the check engine light coming on the day after I purchased the car, and it has been downhill since. My BRAND NEW car has been in the shop 5 times since I purchased it. No one at Volvo seems to care. I asked the dealership to buy the car back from me, but they refused. Today, once again, I had to take the car in due to the SRS airbag Service Urgent Drive to Workshop light coming on for the SECOND time. The first time, they kept my car for a full week. This issue is now in the hands of my attorney. BUYER BEWARE. After they sell you a car, they dont care.
