Just moved into the neighborhood and was told not to come here because its overpriced. However, one day I was in a hurry and decided to grab a couple of beers for a party. When I walked in, the people working turned to look at me and smiled. As I walked towards their beer section I vaguely heard an older woman tell one of their co workers keep an eye on him and then the worker walked around me pretending to look at some wine labels. I wanted to leave but wanted to prove them wrong and got a craft beer. When I told my neighbor, she said that had happened with her before. So I guess if youre black and are not dressed in your professional clothes then youre a thief. I will not be back.

Very overpriced. Would probably not go back. Their beer choice is decent but not worth the double price. Save your money.

Great people work here. Good selection. They have growlers if that is your thing.

Nice place, friendly associates, nice selection of flying dog especially now they have Gonzo porter so that was a nice surprise to see.

A great neighborhood wine and beer store with ample varieties and special things like tastings and craft beers and... Owners and staff are very friendly, and someday they WILL sell me the winning lottery ticket. Who knew my neighborhood was cool enough to have a place like this?!

Hands down my favorite place to buy wine in Rockville. Fantastic selection and it’s clear they put care into only putting great tasting bottles in their stock. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Highly recommend.

The owners and employees of Village Beer and Fine Wine are always friendly and helpful. If you cant find something they will check in the back or tell you when the next shipment is due. A wonderful neighborhood wine and beer store.

Very nice and fancy store with a great variety of a little bit of everything for everyone. Bought a few wines for gifting and got nice wines at great prices. Wish I had more time to check everything out.

Love the organization by wine country. You can find small gems like the pamplemousse wine that reminded us of our trip to France a few years ago. Good beer variety too.

Very friendly service but astonishingly high prices. If money is no object then you will like the atmosphere but for an instant 40% discount you can do better easily elsewhere.

Fair selection of beer and wine with decent prices. They have a big hunch of local vineyards including Boordy. They host events on occasion like wine tastings. Good in a pinch.

Pricey but Im sure the store rent is high. Nice nd large drink selection,local and foreign. Lotto tickets sold. Also scratch offs

Prices are moderate to high. Staff is friendly and unpretentious. Not a deli despite painted sign on window.

Best place to find some delectable wines and the ambience has such character like being in a vineyard wine cellar in the city. Its a place Id love to return to over and over again.

I dont know wine, but if you want an impressive selection of craft beers, this is the place. Very courteous staff.

Came here often because it was close to where we stayed while on vacation. The prices are quite higher than expected, but staff was very friendly. Card transactions required $5.00 minimum charge.

Agree with another reviewer, not bad by any means but the store isnt quite nice enough to justify some of the prices (ie 10 bucks for a bottle I know Ive bought for around 5 before, and 19 for a 12 pack of blue moon- 16 is usually what Id expect to pay for those).
