I was organizing a birthday party and came her to pick up wine bottles. The old man was rude and I felt uncomfortable buying from here so I left. It’s strange because the store hours said otherwise.

Very rude, makes up his own hours, will never be back. Youd think from over a year of bad reviews he would lock the door when he decides to close...

I rarely write reviews unless it’s positive, but I had a very uncomfortable experience at your store yesterday. I checked the hours, and the website stated you were open until 9:00 (Sunday, May 30). I walked into your store at 8:03 and was immediately screamed at by the individual working the cash register. He yelled at me that the store closed at 8:00 due to covid (mind you covid restrictions have been lifted) and told me to leave. I explained that the website had the wrong closing time and asked him since I was already there and the individual working there did not lock the door, if I could quickly buy a bottle of wine. Again, he screamed at me and told me to leave.I left the store very insulted.On my way to my friend’s dinner, I purchased a bottle of wine from another local wine and beer store that honored its hours and was kind to me. They will now have my future business.

I live about 5 minutes from this store but I will never return. I’ve gone about 5 times and every single time the cashier is either rude, unhelpful, or just plain weird. One time I purchased over $200 worth of alcohol alone. The cashier rang me up in a rather lackluster manner and watched me make THREE trips to my car and did not offer to help at all. Another time, the cashier (different one) was asking me very personal questions. The last straw was today (a third cashier) who barked at my brother and I when we were in the the back saying, “that’s going to be stocked, it’s not for sale today, I have to stock it.” When we got to the counter he barked twice in a row, “IDs? IDs?!” I finally said, “are you good dude? Why are you yelling at us?” He changed his tune real quick and started being so nice. I just ignored him.This place is absolutely not worth the hassle. I’ll drive extra to not be harassed and to not feel uncomfortable. I hope this review helps others.

I went here looking for hard seltzer and as soon as I walked in the door I was greeted with the most intense and rude stare. He didnt say hi or anything - he just looked me up and down. They didnt have what I needed and I felt uncomfortable, so I promptly left.Given the negative vibe and lack of selection, I would encourage you to visit On the Vine or the Montgomery County Liquor & Wine, which is a very short drive down the street. Both of these stores have a better selection and youll get a much friendlier experience!

I don’t know why there are multiple reviews saying the owner is rude. I frequent this store and have never once had an issue with customer service. Is he the most over the top extroverted person? No, but he’s never once been anything even approaching rude to myself or my husband. He’s knowledgeable about wines, makes good recommendations when asked, and has always been professional in my opinion. I do feel some of the wine prices are a bit higher than other local stores, however, for me the convenience of the location is worth it!

Overpriced and quite rude... also, double check expiration dates for products you purchase if you do decide to go here.

Google says open to 10. But apparently they make up their own hours. Guy looked at me through the door and let me know he was closed at 9:03 pm.

Pushy service and not helpful

Not a lot of variety and the older gentleman has a terrible attitude. This man threatened to kick two people with valid IDs out, not sure why he felt the need to follow up after checking IDs, thats where most people change their attitude. That on top of watching The matrix while ringing us up. Whoever worked January second at night should be retrained.

Terrible experience. Unreasonable price and poor service. The cashier checked all three iDs of my family members, and all three of us are over 21. And then he said that the names on the iD do not match. (My mother did not change the maiden name) Then he kicked us out and asked us to change our iDs. ZERO RESPECT! Will never go back!

Walked in to buy something on my 21st birthday, guy at the counter looked at my ID, asked for something else with my name on it, and when I showed him my college Id (the only other thing I had with my picture on it), he told me to get out. Wouldnt even scan the back of my ID. Will not be going back

It was really strange today to be charged 5 cents for the box worth 90 $ of a purchase. Really?

I have to agree with the review provided about the store owner (old white haired man). From the moment we walked in you could tell no customer service, no smile. If we asked questions it was like itnwas paining him to have to answer. We were buying lottery tickets and my husband was unsure how to fill it out. He must have felt we were idiots and sure treated us that way. Regardless of what he may think he should have answered with a helpful attitude I was so ready to get out of there. He didnt make us feel welcome at all.

My friend and I went in to buy some beer. When we walked in we were told to hurry up and that we only had seconds to get what we want by the gentleman at the register. To make matters worse he then told us to “hurry the f*** up” because we were taking too long even though we’ve only been inside for a few Miniutes at this point. By far the worst costumer service I’ve ever received in my life... WILL NEVER GO BACK.

Absurd prices and highly questionable service. Expect them to dishonor their open hours. Respect yourself and drive an extra half-mile.

Chris and his wife are such kind people. They have such a nice selection of fine wines from all over the world for such reasonable prices.

A great array of wines and foreign beers. Chris the owner is very knowledgeable and has always recommended great wine selections.

Horrible experience. No stars should be given. Older gentleman with white hair whom I assume may be the owner treated me like a criminal when cashing in on a winner scratch off and then told to leave his establishment when told he would be given a bad review. I have reported him to the bbb.
