They have a nice selection of beer & wine. The owners & staff are very competent and friendly. And they even have great cider! This place is also a wonderful warm place to sit and enjoy your alcohol. Patronize them, keep these guys around!

Stopped by for a drink while waiting for dinner. The raspberry beer (Founders) was addictive! The local IPA (Peabody Heights) wasn’t overwhelmingly bitter, which is nice. Great way to kickstart a weekend!

My favorite bar and favorite liquor store in Rockville under one roof. They have a huge selection of beers, mostly from the Maryland, dc, va area, at reasonable prices too. The owners are very friendly, and a lot of the beers they sell in cans and bottles are also on their 24 rotating taps so you can try before you buy. Theyre generally 3-6 dollars per glass, which is a great deal for what theyre pouring. I cant recommend this place enough.

This place is awesome! Amazing selection. My friend came in to get a hair cut at Floyds 99 and we decided to kill some time before his appointment. We shopped around and decided to have a beer while we waited for his appointment. Super chill!!! Loved this place.

Great little bottle shop with a vast selection of beer and wine. They have a good amount in the coolers and even more at room temp. Also has a small bar with a large draft selection.The owners are wonderful and the overall atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed. A selection of snacks at the bar would set this place over the top. Theres a lot of options for craft beer in Rockville, but The Rockville Pike is my current go to.

Great craft beer selection and an even better atmosphere. They have about 20 beers on tap and the selection is great. There’s also a variety of seating so if you want to saddle up to the bar or sit in a comfy chair, you’re in luck. The owners are extremely friendly. I’ll definitely be back!

The owner, Bernard, was very personable and he had one of my favorite beers, Denizens Third Party. The atmosphere was good, wide selection of local beers and plenty of seating. Ill definitely be back, for happy hour this time!

I love this place. Richie is awesome if you need some insight on wine. Its a family owned place and the love they put into their work is obvious. Happy hour prices are the lowest Ive seen in the area!

Cool taproom on the Pike with good craft beer selection. As mentioned, its family owned, and the the owners are often behind the bar. The service is prompt and the bartenders are knowledgeable. I got a tasty sour from RAR.

I came into the store because I needed to use the bathroom and there was no sign saying no public restroom posted. There was no one at the counter so I went straight to the rest room. As I came out the restroom, the owner asked me if I needed help, and I responded no thank you. He proceeded to follow me out to the door to confront me. He was asking me if Ive been to his store before. I asked him, whats the problem? Thinking he thought I shoplifted or something. Apparently, I did something worst by using his bathroom without permission. He lectured me about the fact that I didnt ask for permission and didnt say thank you. Heres my response, Please put a sign on your door saying no public bathroom and you will never have me as a customer in the future?

Horrible experience Thursday night (9-20). TLDR : dont spend your money here -find another shop! I am originally from the DC area but have been living overseas with my son and husband. I walked in to the store to pick up wine. I was unsure of the profile of a particular wine I selected so I asked the owner (woman). She said she needed to get her glasses to read the label (HAHA WHAT I can do that too..). My question was more about the flavor profile of the wine itself. After she got her glasses she said she still didnt know and said she needed to ask her husband (the other owner). After waiting 3 min he confirmed the wine was sweeter in taste than most dry wines. Great, finally got my answer. As he was walking away he said something to his wife in another language (hindi?, tamil?). Which triggered her to ask me for ID. I felt flattered since Im 29 and the drinking age overseas is 18 so I literally never get carded, ever. I pulled out my overseas license and immediately was told there was a law in MD that she could not accept my form of identification and if I had my passport with me. I politely asked her what law it was and if she could pull it up. I didnt have my passport on me. She didnt pull it up but thought she needed to call her husband back over to confirm. She said that she couldnt accept it because she had no way of proving if it was fake or not. She also asked me if Ive used my overseas license so far while I was in MD. My answer was yes. Meanwhile, on my overseas license my old MARYLAND DRIVERS LICENSE number is on the back. So I pulled out my permanent residence card from the same country to confirm that although I am a person of color I can live overseas. Again, nope couldnt validate it because of the law. The owner (man) said he would call the police, pulled up his phone and walked away. I said ok because as I explained to his wife - If the police pulled me over for speeding I would pull out my overseas license and not my passport. The owner (man) mentioned the police have technology to check if its real or not so I was happy he mentioned he called the police. I honestly didnt think twice about it (forgetting basically every story ever with a person of color and police officer). But for me, this meant finally having the police validate my ID so I could buy my wine and go! When he came back he said his son said that he cant validate my overseas license. Wait, what? I asked, I thought you were going to call the police?. I realized shortly after this was his tactic to scare me ? AGAIN he started speaking in a different language with his wife. I said that I could speak in a different language as well but know that its rude to speak it knowing they wouldnt understand. Long story short if you dont know about wine dont sell it, if you are not versed in overseas licenses dont threaten a patron to call the police and then dont. Be kind to all of your customers because or close your business. I really hope you dont treat customers they way you treated me. I am also writing a letter to MALA about your inexperienced behavior. Dont spend your money here.. go around the corner to owners who are intelligible wont threaten to call the police over your valid ID just because and much more friendly .
