I was at the Rockville location today and got my ears done by Vanessa!. I am super impressed by her professionalism, communication skills, attentive to detail. I’ve been going to EWC for over a year, although my experience has mostly been wonderful with arms, and full face. I always clearly state when doing eyebrow wax that I don’t want to change my shape or make my eyebrows thin at all- the person I went to, in my opinion butchered my thick eyebrows that make up my entire identity. She took away my arch and made them thin and straight. I hope they grow back very soon. I do not recommend eyebrows here at all. Do anything else you want, but don’t trust them with your eyebrows.

I was here today in this location for the first time. Unfortunately they didnt meet my expectations. The employee that did the service was not as friendly. Its like she was not happy to be there so i tried to make a conversation. She was fast! But when i checked it afterwards she left few patches untouched. Very disappointing as they are considered luxury waxing center i would say. She was not as thorough as i was expecting.

I had a very good experience there. Nice and caring front desk. Eleza was very fast and professional. She started a nice usual conversation that made me forgot the pain of waxing and I didn’t realize when it was finished, thanks to her.

I saw Eleza for the first time and I am very impressed. She is fast, thorough, great at keeping engaging conversation and funny. My brows look so good and she also did one of the most painless upper lip waxes Ive ever had!

Saw Eleza for my first wax ever in life! Definitely a crazy experience, but she walked me through everything and talked to me the whole time which I needed and appreciated. Just got my second wax done and saw Tiffany this time, she was super cool and talked me through the whole thing as well. Women at the front desk were also nice and helpful.

My waxs specialist Eleza is the best always making me comfortable she’s fast pace treats you like family I never have a problem getting my waxs done. She is the best 100% recommend her to everyone she is prefect. When it come to waxing you need to be in a safe comfortable space especially if your new to waxing she’s the one !!!!

I arrived 5 minutes early to my appointment and was escorted back late for my wax. While, yes I was finishing up a phone call (that I wouldn’t have been on if my wax specialist was on time) my service was still started LATE. I requested to change in the bathroom was told I can’t because she wouldn’t have time to finish my wax since she had another appointment right after me and she would do as much as she could 🙄🙄🙄🙄 no ma’am you were late, I’m still paying full price for this service so I require the FULL service. Ultimately had to leave. 0/10 will not be back to this location.

I have been getting waxed since February with the amazing APRIL in Annapolis. Recently, she transferred locations to Rockville. I could have continued going to my Annapolis store and started a new relationship with a new wax gal but I drove myself 35 minutes out of my way, on the DC Beltway in order to see the amazing April. Ladies she is kind, compassionate, and excellent at her craft! Rockville, Montgomery County is SO BLESSED to have such a gem at your European Wax Center!!!!!!UPDATE BACK AGAIN.Everyone needs to go see April. Once again, I traveled from the Annapolis area to Rockville to go see her. When she left the Annapolis store I was devastated, which was 7 miles from my house. The world does not deserve April. She is one of a kind! I hope the Rockville store accommodates this jewel of a wax specialist because people like April dont come around too often. You really dont want to lose someone of her caliber of character!!

I got my first underarm wax by Tiffany and she was amazing !!! I was nervous but she walked me through it and was so knowledgeable and kind. I will definitely be coming back !! The front desk staff were also very friendly and pleasant. Love this location :)

I live about 45 minutes away from this location & the biggest reason I come here is for Eliza. She is simply WONDERFUL. She transferred here from the Columbia location, which was much closer to me but she’s definitely worth the drive. She’s so professional, kind, and detail oriented. Let’s be honest. Brazilians are painful, yet she finds a way to breeze through the entire session easily with almost zero pain and yet be so concise with her work. My eyebrows also always look amazing because of her. If you’re new to waxing, or just want someone who’s great at details, she’s your girl!

April is awesome ! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐I drive nearly 1 hour here every 5 weeks just for her!!Pricing keeps going up and up but I dont seem to be gaining rewards, etc like I use to.... I really dont wanna have to break it off with EWC because of April being the best but these price increases every year.. ugh !

I have sensitive skin and have tried many waxing services. European Wax Center is such a great find. Ive been going there for nearly two years and cant imagine going anywhere else. I had an appointment with April for a Brazilian. It was my first Brazilian ever and I let April know. I read all the reviews on google about how good she was so I asked for her. Extremely painful and April was extremely aggressive when applying the wax I asked her multiple times for a break she said no. She was very rushed and not attentive to me at all. I even asked her for a 1 min break and she wouldn’t allow it. She said the only option was to stop the service so I stopped in the middle and left it was still hurting a few hours after the appointment which April said shouldn’t be the case. I’m not known to have sensitive skin and my pain tolerance is pretty high. I came very excited to get my first Brazilian and came out never wanting one again.

TAYLOR is absolutely amazing. She is quick, efficient and keeps me laughing the entire time. Before finding Taylor, I had a bad experience with my first wax and never thought I would return, now I am a regular!

I have been going to EWC for almost three years now. I’ve had so many waxers over the years but April is something special. Her technique is immaculate and she is extremely professional/experienced. I am SO thankful I found her, she’s amazing. I go to her regularly for my underarm and Brazilian waxes. Highly recommend her, she gets ALL of the hair off and makes the experience a great one. Last year in December I went to European Wax Centerfor the first time ever.. Yes, Brazilian waxes do hurt and I don’t have a high pain tolerance but pain is beauty and you get use to them over time (I hope). The European Wax Center location in Rockville was super clean and everything in its place. The group of ladies they have working there are super sweet and ready to answer any questions you may have.. They let me call from the car to check-in AND they took me 30mins earlier then my given appointment time. I did regionally request for Tiffany but she was booked up already so they put me with another young lady named Valerie. Valerie was sweet and talked to me throughout the service, she even told me about some products I didn’t know about.. I have an upcoming appointment with Valerie in January.. Also ladies, don’t forget to take pain medication at least 30mins before the service!!!

I have been coming to this location regularly since they opened about 3 years ago. I really missed them during the stay at home orders, and it was nice to be back this week. They are following masking/distancing very strictly, and they have always had very hygienic practices at baseline. The wax passes are a fantastic value, I highly recommend them!!

I appreciated the COVID-19 safety precautions. This was my first wax ever other than Eyebrows & Melonie (might be spelled wrong) was GREAT! She talked me through every step. The receptionists were very friendly and helpful!

The overall experience is a good one until you go to check out and they start their sales pitch to get you to purchase a membership. Apparently, saying, No, thank you, one time isnt good enough. They have to continue to push their membership program on you.Hey, Im aware of your program and if I wanted it, Id sign up. Until then, quit asking me or Ill go somewhere else.

I bought a wax package and the pandemic hit so I haven’t been able to use it; I figured once they opened they would notify their customers but I haven’t heard anything. But apparently they’re open?? This is upsetting because I’ve been going here for so long and didn’t get any call or email about their reopening.

Not good. I went to get eyebrows waxed...To me this is a high endsalon. I would expect highly skilled techs. Not only were my eyebrows not even, shape wasnt great and she burned my skin thats right under my brow...will never go there again. Not good...Imagine if I was prepping for a very special occasion, such as a wedding etc. etc. Theres a Brow place in Montgomery Mall that does a better job, then the results here, at a high end salon.

First time ever getting waxed. I made an appointment over the phone for a Brazilian wax. They fit me in the same day. I was so nervous on the drive over to the shop got there and the ladies at the front could tell I was not at ease. They told me it wouldn’t be that bad and it’s quick. I took their word for it. Within 5 minutes of being there Taylor came out and called my name. I let her know immediately that this was my first time and I was extremely nervous. She walked me through it step by step. I informed her I do have semi sensitive skin and pretty high pain tolerance I’ve just never experienced that kind of pain before.Taylor was extremely professional, knowledgeable, personable and had great bedside manner. I was happy that my first Brazilian wax was done by her. She also recommended a product after my waxing to help me with my sensitive skin and razor bumps. I will no longer be using a razor on my girly. Nope. I went ahead and scheduled my next appointment four weeks from now.If you want great service and a knowledgeable tech ask for Taylor she was great!

For a first time, it was a great experience! Highly recommended for any waxing. The only thing is that they are a bit hard on sales of their own products, but otherwise a great experience.

Is like shaving not waxing, none of the hair comes out from the root, just the surface!!!! After a few days I feel the hair just like if I shaved by razor!!!Also, the gail who was doing the wax, left a LOT of hair on me and long story short, I have to shave everything myself after 2 days!!!! I never had this much unsatisfactory experience for a simple waxing before!!!!

Mayra was my wax person and she was the very best. Sadly she left but I found her at the downtown silver spring location and its because of the Rockville location that I was able to find an awesome person like her. I gave it 3 stars because someone that wasnt Mayra did my Brazilian wax and she took some of my skin off during my wax and since then I decided not to come back.

Taylor was amazing! I was OVERDUE for a Brazilian and underarm. It was 1, 2, 3. Probably the least painful wax I’ve ever had and I knowww my hair was long lol. She did a wonderful job! She explained every step before she did it. I booked the appointment online, received an automated confirmation call the day before my appointment. I was 5 minutes late, and they let me know about their 8 min grace window (thank the stars). The women at the first desk were also kind and very informative. 10/10 will be recommending!

I freaking love this place! Shalom is always so welcoming when you enter European Wax center. She goes out of her way to accommodate you not to mention she’s super sweet and personable. She really takes the time to make sure your visit was pleasant and explains all of the payment packages (if you’re interested). Tiffany is my go to girl for waxing! I started coming here 6 months ago, hands down the best decision I could’ve made. Not only is Tiffany east to talk to, she takes her time and does an amazing job. I’ve gotten more compliments on my eyebrows in the last 6 months than I have in the last 3 years.

The overall waxing service is great! But I absolutely hate the receptionists there. They are so rude for absolutely no reason. I come here all the time just because I love my wax lady but these receptionists need to learn some customer service. I work in retail and I understand when you get rude customers, they’re a handful. I get it . But when I call and I’m just trying to change or cancel my appointments, they always just hang up or have a rude tone. Either train your receptionists better or get new ones.

Amanda provides me with a full back waxing service. I think it was the least painful wax I’ve had in my life. She will be my go to from here on out!

I recently came in for a wax this week with melodie and she was awesome! My wax was totally painless and she was so fun to talk to! The front desk alyssa was also amazing! I felt totally comfortable and will definitely be coming back!

My appointment was scheduled for 6:15pm I only got seen at 6:30pm. The receptionist told me after ten minutes to give her another five minutes but only after I asked what was taking so long. They need better customer service!!! So annoying because had I been running over seven minutes late my appointment would have been canceled but the technicians can run 15 minutes late and nobody will let you know.

I went to European wax center for the first time today and got a bikini line wax done with Dora. I absolutely loved her!! She let me know what she was doing before she did it, was super gentle, and the wax felt almost painless. I am ready for my vacation this week thanks to Dora!

I’m a big fan of European Wax Center..has been to more than five locations in three states. Was over the moon when this location was open, and they don’t disappoint. The wax specialists are tremendously kind and friendly and goes out of their way to make sure the customer’s comfort. The front desk staff are very accommodating and polite, a bit aggressive on selling packages, which are a great deal for sure. It’s in a really great location with lots of cool shops around so plan to look for parking, especially on weekends.

Hilary just did my brows and lip. It was my first time going there (I got one of the cards for a free wax in the mail) and she did an amazing job. She shaped my brows beautifully and fixed the uneven job a threader did in Chinatown a month back. She was mediculous and spent time making sure they were perfect. If you buy a package to come back throughout the year you get 3 for free, or they come out to 15 each time for brows.

I used to go the Wax Center in Dupont Circle and I found a great waxer there. But, I recently started a new job and this is the closest wax center to work. Im so glad I came here as people have been super nice. My waxer, Tiffany, was fast and did a very thorough job. Highly recommend this location!

The worst at keeping up with appointments, nonchalant, and unapologetic. Tiffany is the best wax technician there. Shalam is the best customer service representative there. Jessica working the front desk 4/13/2019 was absolutely rude. I live too far to be having them mess up my appointments, what is the point of booking online, receiving and automated call to confirm, just to travel all the way there and your appointment is changed, doesn’t exist etc. At least apologize people’s time is very valuable. I will not be coming here again and when my package is up I will not be coming here again.

I used to go to the Owings Mills location but I recently moved to Germantown, MD as of July and was very nervous. However, Tiffany is awesome and she has been an amazing wax girl. She makes your experience stress free and takes her time to make sure you leave flawless. She is also very personable. The front desk staff has messed up my appointments a few times, but otherwise they are fabulous and very pleasant!

Went to this location because its closest to my house. Love those salons from NYC, when I visited them for the first time and fell in love. But I guess NYC and DC area are probably different in quality.First time I went, some here were still on my arms and legs. I thought ok, maybe Im a difficult client or something, Ill go again to the other person.Second time I went there, have 2 bruises under my elbow and on the upper arm. Technician said that itll be gone in a couple of hours. I have them for the second day now.I might try going to this location again for the third time, but if there will be some troubles again (especially bruises after waxing!), Im not sure if Ill continue going to this location anymore or even to the Wax center locations at all.Photos underneath are a proof of bruises.

I’ve been considering waxing for a while and decided on European Wax Center as I work in the shopping center next door and walk by them frequently. When I first called, I spoke with Shalam (sorry if I misspelled her name) who has the BEST customer service and was incredibly patient with me while I made my appointment and decided on what services were best for me. After deciding I didn’t want to wait until my appointment scheduled, I called to move it up. Surprisingly, I was met with the most nasty girl who seemed to be completely uninterested in helping me. As I was talking, she interrupted me and said ‘I have to put you on hold because I have guests in front of me’...she could’ve said that when she FIRST answered the phone instead of while I was talking! Anyway, when she came back on the phone, we were trying to coordinate a date/ time that works with my schedule and she couldn’t have been more rude! When I declined the times she was giving me because I wanted to ensure I could shower beforehand, she dismissively interrupted me again and said in the rudest tone ‘I’ll have to call you back what’s your number’ and after providing her with my number, she swiftly hung up. Not to mention that while we were on the phone, she was engaged in another conversation with whomever was there totally not listening to me. I couldn’t even get her name but I called today (2/1) at approximately 1:45pm so it might be beneficial for management to look into and correct this. Needless to say, I won’t be trusting my first time waxing of private areas to such rude staff, I’m sure my business will be appreciated elsewhere. I’m not usually one to 1) write negative reviews and 2) judge a business based on a few negative reviews, but in this case, what people have said who have had similar experiences is absolutely true. I’m a business owner myself and could never expect anyone to invest their money into me with such poor customer service! They need more people like Shalam!!!!

Dora is absolutely amazing. I had a horrible experience at another EWC location (Canton, Baltimore, MD) in which I was burned and I left in tears. I explained to the manager and the technician, Dora, about the previous experience. Both were extremely apologetic and did everything in their power to make sure I enjoyed the experience this time around. Dora informed me of everything she was doing prior to and while she completed each step. She was patient with me when I needed breaks. I HIGHLY recommend Dora to anyone who is skeptical about getting waxed.5 stars for Dora, 4 for the location, and overall a 3 for EWC as a whole.I will say make sure you get a receipt with every transaction. Im sure something fishy was going on. I was coerced into purchasing a $129 package and a product that was $28 (with a $5 off) and my card was charged for $196. I felt rushed once services were done and again I feel like customers frequently may be taken advantage of with the package options.

Decent. I’ve been to other Euro Wax Centers and this is ok. I’ve seen two different gals. The first one ruined my eyebrows and made them so thin that I had to go next door to Ulta for them to help me. She also did not listen while I told her, keep them full.Second gal- much better to work with. She listened and was detailed.

We’re very accommodating with fitting me in last minute, one ran to the back to see if someone was available to squeeze me in and I believe, my waxer was Kadijah and she was filled my eyebrows in and I even bought a powder ! Nadia set me up with a new package and they were so pleasant and sweet and I will let my friends all know about this location !!

I received a Brazilian a few days ago at the Rockville, Maryland location and was very disappointed. My tech left a lot of hair and I felt as if she was rushing and did not use the complete time allotted for my Brazilian appointment . I complained at the counter during check out and was told they were running behind schedule. Next, the young lady proceeded to ask me if I would like to sign up for a plan. She completely disregarded my complaint and was only interested in getting me to join a monthly membership.

The lady who did my waxing hurt me a lot and also didn’t clean all the area that I asked for. I’m very disappointed and would never recommend them.
