Proper food! I’m so glad I found this place. I had the cheese burger which was made fresh. No meat pucks here. Calamari was not soggy or chewy. The club was fantastic. Our waitress Jess was awesome. She took her time talking with some of the older regulars which was sweet. 10/10 coming back. Gonna try breakfast!!
Service was great, pricing was very good (especially compared to most run of the mill breakfast joints nowadays) and the interior has a nice cozy vibe. The food was as youd expect from a local diner and I had no complaints with neither the quality or the quantity of food. I like unpretentious places and this is a good example of one. Ill be back!
Amazing food! Eaten here many times and takeout many times. Had my daughters graduation party today. Everyone enjoyed the fabulous meals and delicious desserts.

Great place for take out!!! I asked for less potatoes and they were able to accommodate that! Staff was nice and I can see they are preparing for opening up! Will definitely recommend to my friends if they are ever near ottawa. ( had to edit this to let you guys know the potatoes are crispyyyyy omgg and seasonings are on point!)
A great place for a family breakfast. We went there for breakfast around 11 on a Sunday and it was fairly busy but we didn’t have to wait for a table. The food was very good and I definitely recommend the chocolate chip pancakes.

The food is awesome and the price is awesome. What else do you need? 5 stars, Ive eaten here many many times and there will be more to come. If you want to try it for the first time I recommend the club sandwich or the fried chicken sandwich.

The best part of my cheeseburger was the bun. I ask to have my burger cooked medium but was told they cook them all the same. So I asked if it would be dry and hard, was told OH no our burgers are awesome. Well not so much. I got a dry, hard, flavorless burger. On the up side salad was good.
It was a mixed bag at this small suburban diner, which has an extensive menu but where the food plays second place to the beer. The spicy chicken burger and smoked meat sandwich were highlights of our groups order but the pizza was very disappointing with bland cheese and uncooked dough in places which pulled down our overall impression of the place.

Not sure why so many good reviews. Received breakfast with a long black hair in it.... completely visible too so you not check your food?! Poutine fries were not even cooked fully they were still hard. Would never order from this disgusting place again.

Ordered steak sandwich and got a hamburger on garlic bread and the cook insisted it was steak and not ground beef. They gave me 50% off after taking the plate when the sandwich wasnt touched. 10$ is pricey for some fries. Apparently the club sandwiches are good. Cant say ill be back to give them a try though.

Ordered through skip the dishes today. Tastes good but the portion for the price is outrageous. 10 dollars for a poutine, I would expect at least a full container. It was one of the smaller aluminium containers and barely half full. Taste is great though, just let down by the price and portion.

Very good, however they just have a strange habit of serving a steak like a hamburger, between two slices of bread?I also ordered hamburger steak and onions, it arrived in the same fashion, between two pieces of bread and gravy over it? Pros: Food is great atmosphere is good and prices are reasonable. Waitresses are nice when you get served.Cons: Service is extremely slow. And it seems that if you arent a regular you wont get your order taken till the regulars that have come in after you get their order taken and are served. They are also extremely disorganized.This isnt just from one visit Ive come here a few times because I really like the food but todays visit will likely be the last due to the poor service. They either need to have more servers or be more organized.
I was working in this area and probably drove by this place thousands of times in the last 10 years.Another contractor I was working with suggested we stop in because they had great food.Well I had one of their special sandwiches, And I would like to use the word way better than great and say truly Awesome yummy the meat fresh tasting the atmosphere great home like dining with food honestly on the next level of yummy!!!!The staff and the owner was there one day I’ve been back several times were all a great reflection of how things should be done right+ polite and awesome tasting!!!Stop in and see your stomach will be smiling as you leave I’m sure😃😃
The food was fine and plentiful but my sympathy goes to the waitress who was working alone and was flooded with customers, one of whom difficult to deal with. The waitress had amazing patience.Get the poor woman some help
A bit of a hidden find, most people wouldnt notice it if you went by. Food is good and the portions are more than generous. A quiet dinner, so there should always be room even for a small restaurant.

I went the other day for breakfast. The food was good, they provided real fruit with the plate including a properly sized slice of orange. The service was friendly and prompt, and the place was busy too. I’m skeptical of those who have made negative reviews, I will definitely stop back in. I love supporting entrepreneurs!

Went for Sunday breakfast. The service was great, food was exact to order and not greasy like most diner breakfasts. There was little wait time, staff accommodated substitution requests, were on the ball with coffee refills and made sure we were happy. Top shelf diner with staff that care.

This has quickly become my regular diner. Fast and efficient service, and the waitress always remembers my order. Good quality food, no problem with substitutions, and the coffees not bad. Neither is the price!!
Had a mice breakfast here. Service was quick enough and the food was really good. Little light on the helping of fruit salad for $7. However, Ill go back.

Food was delicious and large potions and the service was excellent. Waitress was polite and friendly. 🙂Our only complaint were kids running around screaming. Made it difficult to have a nice conversation because we couldnt hear ourselves talk. 🙁

Service staff, were nice.We had two egg breakfast plates.Eggs were well under done. Bacon is of low quality, sausage was a different consistency on each end. Hash browns were ok, but the onions were watery.Their idea of fruit is a slice of orange, melon, and 4 grapes.
Brought our hockey team here for breakfast after practice and we were extremely impressed with the service, the prices and the food. Breakfast poutine with tater tots and hollandaise was unbelievably excellent!

I liked it all but I think they need to find a better tasting sausage. The potatoes were really good and the pancake was better than average.

Came for a late lunch. Plenty of seating. 3 of us got 3 very different courses. Everything was AMAZING. Waitress was prompt and polite, checked up on us often. Highly recommend.
The server was a sweetheart but my husband got sick from scottys club sandwich with smoked meat he said the smoke 3 meat didnt taste correct and the lettuce wasnt fresh the server was so nice he didnt want to say anything
Unfortunately, we did not have a good experience at this breakfast place. Food arrived with a long black hair in my eggs which were undercooked, home fries and toast were over cooked. There were also coffee grounds in our coffee. We had asked for water but the servers never brought it to our table. It did not seem like the servers wanted to be there. We ended up leaving and going to a different breakfast place down the road.

Cons: Terrible food. Our table ordered the classic breakfast and the breakfast poutine. The classic breakfast came with burnt toast and unseasoned under cooked home fries. Over easy eggs were not over easy. The breakfast poutine was under cooked as well, and turned into a pile of mush a couple minutes into eating it. Under cooked tater tots, mushy boiled sausage, and microwaved bacon. For a good example of these two items, try Father and Sons.Pros: The service was good, our server was pleasant. The coffee is also good, good flavor and came to the table piping hot.Overall: I would not recommend this place and will not be going back. You can get good service and good coffee at McDonalds, which seems to be all this place has to offer. Maybe other menu items are better, but I wont be going back to find out.

Maybe I caught them on an off-day, as it seems like most reviewers thought the service was good; however, I found it atrocious. I was given my food with no cutlery or napkins, so I had to wait for several minutes until I finally caught the attention of one of the servers. Two different servers asked for my drink order, but neither brought it. I finally went up to the counter and asked for it myself. I was offered jam and ketchup with my breakfast, which also never made it to my table. I finally gave up asking for anything. The table across from me got their jam half way through their meal, at which point the server remarked that the customer had already finished their toast. The food was fine, and my plate did come very quickly, so that was a plus. It is diner food, so you get exactly what you came for.

I want to love it because its locally owned and not a franchise, and the food is good, but ... having to ask them to reheat a meatball sandwich and serving a cold smoked-meat sandwich takes away that 5th star.Plus, while friendly, the staff pay a bit more attention if youre a regular.
