Friendly staff. Prompt service. (We had lunch). I got a bowl of the 815 Specialty Pho (P1, all the trimmings) it was so good. Honestly Ive never had tripe better prepared, it was fantastic. We live about an hour away and were in the area for something else but Id make the drive just for this place now that Ive tried them. The spring rolls were also tasty!

The egg rolls were decent, however, the star of my Lunch was the Pho. Very tasty broth, good quality meat and the correct trimmings available.Iced tea did not come with lemon though, which was a shame.Pho815 is a simple but excellent family-run restaurant that deserves your visit when in the area and looking for a healthy and warming meal.

I love this place .If you like your egg rolls tasty and light this is the place for them. I have the Vietnamese Ice Coffee ever time I go. Its sweet and strong and a real treat if you like coffee.

1st and last!! Poor service and food are not that good. My sister fry rice was very bad and the chicken meat was still raw. Its OK for us to wait a long time for our foods because we have a big group but the foods was not that great and tasty.

I made a group order for my friends tonight. As a regular customer I was told that I can not pay over the phone. It was a little inconvenient since I wasnt one who picked it up, but not big deal. It took 40 mins to make 7 noodles...still fine with that, good food is worth waiting for.After we got our dinner, same order but different vegetable, 2 orders of P1 are missing jalapeno. The soup is not as good as before. Some of the vegetable are not fresh. All 7 people were so disappointed. I feel really bad about that. It cost my almost $100 but no one happy. Thats why I only give one star today.I have to say they have good spring roll. I will come back but only for spring roll not pho any more.

I was staying in Rockford and had a huge craving for pho thankfully this place exsists and let me tell you did not disappoint. First off all the ingredients are fresh and the service was awesome . I ordered the house specialty (chicken pho) and shrimp spring rolls. 10/10 I can’t wait to go back oh and also do your self a favor and try there Thai iced tea

My Pho was awesome!

Tried the 815 special pho. It has meatballs, shaved roast beef, and tripe. Overall it was very good and included fresh basil, bean sprouts, lime, and jalapeno. The beef was cooked and not rare or medium rare however. The tripe was tender. Stock was decent. Much better than the pho place on Riverside, but not as good as some others in other cities. Overall, I recommend this place.

Authentic Vietnamese food and ambiance. The only choice for the discriminating foodie. Every detail in the preparation and presentation brings one to Vietnam. Ingredients were fresh, portion size just perfect and price very appropriate. Looking forward to visiting frequently and bringing all my friends in and around the Rockford area.

My partner and I have been coming to this establishment for years. We enjoyed every single time.Unfortunately, tonight was the first night we were a bit disappointed. The fried rice my partner has order for years didn’t taste like the same quality he had from the past.Also the lack of professionalism in this establishment. There was a young lady doing multiple jobs at once. She did her best to cater to her customers and really needed help.Also, to the people at the back that was giving her a hard time... you can eat s***.

The service was very friendly and quick. The food was delicious. Plenty of stock, noodles, and protein. I would recommend this if you love pho.

The atmosphere of Pho 815 is very elegant and clean. The menu is shows an excellent selection of Vietnamese cuisine. The staff was polite and friendly. For a drink, I had the Vietnamese iced coffee, which was amazing. The Pho has great flavor and was quite filling. Ill be returning.

The food was lovely, waitress was very nice (and dont get enough gratitude seeing how she complemented my friends and I for using our manners), and they have a lot of food for the price.

Great. Absolutely loved this place and some great Pho. I had the Vegetarian Pho. The staff was super friendly and the bowl was packed full of great veggies. This is, so far, the best I have had outside of Asia. Will definitely come back. I wish I pic did it more justice, but this place is well worth the visit.

Visiting the area for work and discovered this place near my hotel. Recently switch to more of a plant base diet and wanted to try their Pho Vegetarian. Mushroom base, carrot, broccoli, squash, tofu, shiitake mushrooms, celery root and Napa cabbage. DELICIOUS. I need to find something similar here in Indianapolis. Staff was great, place was very clean and I truly enjoyed my Pho on a cold winter night.

I was passing through the Rockford area again and wanted Veitnamese food, so I settled on this place. Really, Really excellent Pho Fawm and noodles, the chicken wings were very tasty and done right, and plated nicely. This is one of the most loveliest Pho places I have been to coast to coast. The owner man was very respectful, kind, courteous and attentive, some of the best service I had had at any eating establishment....Everything was fresh and came spaced out in good time. The lady chefs take their time...The broth is outstanding!The only place for Pho, in Rockford, as far as I am concerned... ! Very nice atmosphere and a lot of takeout customers also...I knew it was good, when I came in and sat down and the cute Asian lady who was leaving with her order answered my questions who was from. SoCal, where they have some of the best Pho, arguably of anywhere in the country....Also, a couple, a party of four chicks and numerous take-out orders happened while I had my meal...Excellent lunch, I will be back again..

Food here is delicious and our server was great! I got the Bun bo hue and my boyfriend got pho and we loved it!! Eggrolls were DELICIOUS!! Taste homemade and I love homemade eggrolls!! My boyfriend usually does not eat eggrolls when we go out for pho, but he ate all the eggrolls this time. We are definitely coming back :)

The best pho broth I tasted in a while... the soup was incredible! Service was perfect and the waitress even took the time to guide me through the things to do around since I was from out of town. I met the owner and he was super nice tooExcellent

Disappointing to say the very least. Spent about 40ish bucks for three smoothies, two orders of spring rolls, and bahn mí.The spring rolls were under filled by a surprising amount, barely any veggies, overcooked rice noodles, and disgusting shrimp, I mean DISGUSTING, as well as past its prime herbs. The sandwich was superb, the smoothies were melted and separating by the time we got them. I tried to let the girl up front know that the shrimp had a very off, sickly taste and without even letting me finish she goes well I dont know how we just made them. I wasnt questioning the chefs, I was questioning the freshness and quality of the shrimp. I was extremely sick as well by the time we got back home (only fifteen minutes away) and couldnt eat for a day and a half. We couldnt even eat the three spring rolls out of one order they were so limp and disgusting.

Everything was fresh, light and the server was so friendly. We ordered P1, marinated pork bun (kid friendly!!!), Thai tea it was delicious and mango smoothie also very tasty.

Have had their pho acouple of times with the shrimp egg rolls. I like it. They give you enough food for two meals so I have leftovers for lunch next day. It a bit of a drive for me, but when I want pho its my first choice. Food is good and the staff is helpful and friendly.

The Pho 815 Special is one of best Phos Ive had. If you like shrimp ornseafood, their shrimp rolls are amazing. They have great safety procedures with their food handling and interactions. Our waitress was very friendly and gave us insight to the food we were ordering. I cant wait to go back!

Ive had much better Pho. Mine had beef and meatballs. Both meats were gross. The meatballs were super rubbery like a super ball and the beef was like a thin sliced lunchmeat. The spring rolls had a thin sliced white lunchmeat that I assumed was supposed to be chicken. Tasteless. Imperial Palace and Pho in South Beloit on Park is way better. Real steak/beef all the side garnishes and flavorful. The service isnt the best but the food is much better with more Vietnamese options.

Food was phenomenal, large portions, flavor was terrific, and the Thai Tea was delicious. I will definitely be going back!

Got there and ordered Pho which took 30 plus minutes when the restaurant wasnt even busy. Then where I sit at the booth, I saw the waitress drop some plastic straw or whatever it was on the kitchen floor and she picked it up and did not wash her hands then carry on and grab the bean sprouts for my pho. I told my gf to not eat the bean sprouts since she did that and the meal took so long that we almost left the restaurant. I would definitely like public health inspector to visit these guys.

I am enjoying this little restaurants food. Learning my way around this style of food and cooking style. Nice people who are hard working.

I am beyond upset for this visit. They forgot my pho and have to return to pick it up. Ordered two R5, they gave me R6 instead. Ordered shrimp roll and received spring roll instead. Totally not okay.

I have been wanting to try Pho for awhile. I was excited when I found out there was a restaurant in our area. The atmosphere is very elegant and beautiful. Shrimp spring rolls are always my favorite. The size is much more better than Pho Square with about same price.A little sad thing is they made mistakes twice about my orders.The first time they extra charged me shrimp spring rolls. They told me they would put pork in it even I didnt ask for that, but when I got home I didnt see pork.The second time they forgot my drink, I forgot too of course. When I realized that I had already been far away from them.I called to them, and they told me I had to drive all the way back to get my drink.After all, I think this is a decent restaurant with a nice atmosphere.I will be back for sure.

Man the review on this pho place should not even be 4.5 stars. Pho was decent however not the best. The service was terrible. They mess up my order and I talked out with them. I ordered a strawberry banana smootie but my order came two. I didnt want to take two because I only asked for one. However, the casher said I can have it for free for the other one but expected me to pay the price for it. How are you going to offer a free drink and telling your customer to pay for the drink that youre offering? I didnt take it so I left with one. I think this place needs more work on both ends which is the food and the service.

Upon walking into Pho 515, I was very pleased with the aesthetic and cleanliness of the place.The food was fairly delicious, but I could tell that the broth for the Pho had been frozen and reheated. If the food had been better, I would not have complained about the prices. It is a little expensive compared to other places I’ve been that had much better tasting food (Pho N Grill in DeKalb).

This restaurant was a bit hidden but worth the find! Great food and service! Fresh food! I ordered the Vegetable Pho and it was amazing! The staff was very helpful and made recommendations. I asked for items that were not on the menu and they made the accommodation. Definitely, recommend!

Very good, very fresh, well-presented food. This was my first visit, and I will definitely be going back. We ordered the spring rolls, crab rangoon, and fried rice. All of the food was very tasty with very fresh ingredients and plenty of ingredients. Even my 9-year old son LOVED the fried rice (and hes REALLY picky). You definitely should try this place.

Better than Pho Square which used to be my go-to place. highly recommend getting those clear spring rolls with the shrimp and stuff. also they offered me a Vietnamese coffee and it was to die for.

Good food and service

Been wanting to try this restaurant for a while and finally made it. Ordered the Pho Ga and a pork tenderloin with rice. Fantastic. There was enough Pho Ga left for either dinner tonight or lunch tomorrow! Definitely will be back.
