Easy to work with, worked with my insurance company to get my truck fixed and get me a rental car. Only issue is that it took longer than they estimated due to them messing up the paint but the end result turned out fantastic. They quoted me to get in there faster than anybody else.

Used gerber for our car accident back in spring 2021, we were not at fault and we used gerber as they came reccomended by both our insurance and the at fault partys insurance. We took our 2020 ram in for primarily cosmetic damage only to have picked it up and find a 7 inch run in the paint on the front fender. The manager apologized and had it fixed in a timely manner. We know next time to spend more time reviewing the vehicle before leaving the lot.

Well I take my car for estimate only damage on the bottom of door nothing big i thing and the adjuster tells me that i have to replace the whole door 🤔 which he say it will cost me over $1300 then take it somewhere else and only pay $275 so I dont think I can trust this company im sorry for the bad review

I have had nothing but great experiences with everyone at the 6801 Mill Rd. location. They put customer service first and are always available to hear concerns that you may have. They took the time to work with me and figure out how the repair process could best serve me. Obviously nobody wants to deal with getting their car repaired but Gerber turned an unfortunate circumstance into a customer service opportunity. They did their very best to get me back on the road as quick as possible and never left me in the dark about the status of my car.

If you are looking to work with a collision center that is completely honest, knowledgeable and beyond helpful, this is your place. Having to repair an older car and pay out of pocket is not an ideal situation. However, the team at Gerber in Rockford, made this whole experience painless. They worked with us every step of the way helping us stay within budget; never trying to upsell or do any unnecessary work. They kept us abreast of all the repairs that were being done on the car so we were never in the dark. They were always readily available and willing to answer all our questions and concerns. I would recommend this facility to anyone who needs quality work done on their car.

We had my wifes car here for a moderate collison repair (a raccoon chose to commit suicide-by-bumper). They already had the insurance approval & started the tear-down the very next day. We received updates during the repair process, & the staff is really friendly, outgoing, & professional. When we got the car back after only five days (including parts delivery time), they had recalibrated the electronics on the windshield, washed it, and gave us a very detailed explanation of what they had done. If you need auto-body repairs, then this is THE place to bring your car. We recommend Gerbers 100%.

I used Gerber Collision in Rockford to repair damage to my car bumper, and Gerber returned my car in better condition than it was in even before my car was damaged. Its nice to know your car is being taken care of when you leave it behind for repairs. Im impressed and grateful.

I had to trade in a car because my car should of been totaled, it never drove the same I had my interior lights strobing like crazy while I was driving, my electrical stuff was ruined under the hood, but Ive had other cars fixed here, and they did good cosmetically and they do finish your car fast, but if mechanical things are messed up I wouldnt reccomend them for that

Quick thorough service.

Poor repair had our car painted and they didnt paint it the color or sand it out right. Painter had a baby tantrum . Told us that we needed to get a car lined up on our dime for them to fix their mess. Totally worthless in my opinion bad management bad work and repair bad overall experience.

Never went there for any service tried to erase I was on the wrong page
