THE 46th AVE LOCATION IS A JOKE. HIRE SMARTER AND YOUNGER PEOPLE. THEY ARE SO RUDE!

The cashier ignored me as I was trying to ask where something was at. I was in the back of the store, so I politely hollered for her. After the 3rd time of me trying to get her attention, she rudely told me where the item was I was looking for. Then proceeded to tell me she wasnt my child and that if I needed her help, I would have to cone to the front of the store and ask. Then when I was ready to purchase my items, she kept ranting at me and belittling me because I hollered at her as theres customers in line waiting to be rung up. It took me everything I had to refrain from getting out of line with her and telling her about herself because be my luck, shed kick me out the store. I was very embarassed.

Last visit here,the cashier was very rude!I will not come back here!Very dirty and cluttered!

Some dude likes to panhandle in the parking lot... He gives me the Creeps!!

This store is horrible, there are items all over the place. They allow people to enter without a mask although there are signs clearly stating that masks are required!!

The employees at this Dollar General were a lot friendlier than most other ones that I have been to

Good variety. The service was nice the staff for the most part was welcoming but there are a few that need to be more kind. It is a good place for things like washing powder, grease, and maybe a few clothes like the slip on. The atmosphere was okay sometimes the employees seem disturbed by your presents. But then again its not all employees just some.

I love the new dollar store their Under new management and theyve cleaned it up. A used to be so hard to push a cart through their with all the stuff in the aisles. Sometimes I would dread going to general dollar and pick up my stuff at Walmart are high V. And I didnt like to do that because I want to support my local general dollar. I love to run up there and grab my stuff and get in-and-out and the new people are a lot more polite They were hiring new people but they were not getting proper training. I am proud of the new general dollar and what they have done Im glad that I can go back its a convenience from the house. And its a lot easier get me in-and-out and parking.

I love this store. Its like a quicky mart for so many things we forget at the store. This store closest to me truly needs better management. Isles are blocked throughout the store with carts waiting to be unloaded onto the shelves. Its sad to see a store that is desperately needed in such chaos 😪

If youre a minority go somewhere else! They definitely will follow you around the store and the employees act like they are the owners and act like asking for where something is or opening more than one register will get your head snapped off! I tried to purchase an item clearly marked with a price but it rang up higher.. she refused to honor the price clearly marked so I put it back and left!

It is a nice place to get snacks.

I do not like going to this Dollar General. theyre always out of what I need is always a long line at the register. I usually drive past this one go to a different one

I made a quick trip to DG in Rock Island Illinois and this store was very clean and neat. Staff was great!

Good ol D-Gen. Its decent. I like the snacks. I was once going to buy the Avengers DVD from here, but it was gone and that didnt make me to happy. The aisles are messy with a lot of junk in them. (AT LEAST THATS WHAT MY GRANDPA SAID)

Love the new health food isle! However, The store is regularly packed with unboxed goods for several days at a time. Minimal staff and the current staff isnt always pleasant.

The worst customer service. I ever had ask guy questions about sale on ice cream, that was tearing up boxes, shrugging his shoulders about sale price. The time is 645 pm.

Great employees, they are kind, and welcoming. When we enter the shop and say good day when we are done shopping.

This particular store had what I needed to buy but the store shelves are a mess and carts with boxes that needed to be placed on shelves were lined up around the back and left side aisles blocking from getting what I wanted to buy. The male cashier was efficient and fast but more help was needed at the checkout.This is not my favorite Dollar General store but was on my way home from another errand.

Looks like a rummage sale. Aisles are cluttered, stocks and stocks of racks in the way of every aisle, too many clothes and shoes cluttered together on racks and shelves. But yet almost all shelves are out of everything! So why so many boxes of stock sitting around store? Hire me as manager! I guarantee it will be cleaned and organized!

Very nice staff. You can find some really nice items in there and a few things name brand for very inexpensive.

They refuse to answer the phone. People are fired so fast that the employees dont answer questions or know the answer, especially on the return policy. Lady answered the phone tonight. Didnt know if I could return a defective item with a reciept under 30 days. She left me on hold for 11 minutes.Now the store phone goes to voicemail. Will be calling corporate tomorrow. Not the first time this happened at this location. Very frustrating.

Went in store yesterday, and as usual 1 person working and a line wrapped around store to check out. Lady working long dark hair and glasses (didnt see name tag) was talking more that checking people out, she repeated same thing to 3 people in front of me, then totally stopped what she was doing and said to everyone in store that she was short on change and kept going on and on, which everyone in line already heard her 3 times before she stopped everything .I asked her to please get back to checking us out so we didnt have to stand in line for another 20 minutes and she come unglued and started screaming at me. I didnt raise my voice a bit when I asked her to just get us checked out, and for her to start screaming at customers is unbelievable. I understand people have bad days but do your job, and treat customers kind. Needless to say I wont spend another penny pn that store again. She should not have a job after that but maybe she forgot to take her crazy medication before work. Unbelievable...Dollar General you really should hire a better class of employees, shame on you

I found the stores exterior to be well maintained but the interior was crowded with carts of stuff that needed to be put on the shelves and in fact on several occasions I had to physically move the carts out of the way so I could get through to the items that were on the shelf or just to get by in the aisle I have found this to be true in almost all of the Dollar General stores that I had visited I also found the staff to be talking on the phone for personal reasons and not paying attention to their customers.

And the Dollar General on 11th street is the one I always go to know where everything is and its starting to complete itself and get better

Every time i walk in here this place is a mess. The deal are great. The aisles are convinced. The serive is okay. I wish there was some type of clean up here.

Take forever to get through the line, lack of service, management is rude, only one register open during busy hours, gets crowded in there when trying to check out. Got told the registers are closed 10-15 minutes before closing was only going in to get a pop and a frozen pizza, rather take my business to Hy-Vee they will atleast greet me and open a register to get people through the lines quicker. Wont get an attitude from a manager and wont be denied service.

This place was disgustingly filthy. The floor was all sticky and there was garbage all over the floor. You couldnt get a cart through the aisles and the music was so loud I thought I was at a backyard party. I stood in line with three other people for about five minutes before a worker finally came to the counter.

Dirty, product all over the floors, have to walk on stuff to get around, stock racks in middle of the aisle, dangerous trip hazzards, not handicap accessible due to clutter in aisles, stuff missplaced, out of stock on alot of items, line took 20 minutes to ring up 3 people.

Filthy...crowded with merchandise...smell like dead rodents...1 cashier when there is 10 people in line. This store is closest to me but Id rather travel further just to avoid this store. Wish I could give it NO STARS!!!

Every time I go into this store it looks like a war zone. There are boxes all over the place, blocking aisles. Several times there have been items tossed all over the floor. The employees are friendly, which is the only reason Im giving this place 2 stars.
