Would give 5 stars if they had ordered all the parts needed. Excellent customer service. They were transparent in their mistake. They were able to replace my whole exhaust system and fix my O2 sensor for a very reasonable price. Would definitely recommend!

Highly recommend. This shop has true technicians who diagnose your cars problem and make the appropriate repairs quickly and fairly. They replaced my ac compressor the same day I brought it in (a Friday), and had it back to me before the weekend. Charged me exactly what they quoted. Love this place.

Referred to this place by a co-worker and was really looking forward to establishing a long time mechanic. Dropped my car off at 7am sharp and was coldly checked in. Didn’t hear a word until I called at 11am. Told me what needed to be done and I said go ahead. Didn’t hear *anything* until I called at 4:45 and they said “what car? Are you sure you have the right place?”. I picked up my car and nothing was done. I spent an entire day without a car to get no answers or help. This place is a waste of time and the men are unprofessional. You gotta tell someone before you go home if you’re keeping their car overnight! Sheesh! You lost a potential loyal customer. Shame.

This shop is honest and fairly priced. They are a full service car shop and will tell you if a specific service should be done elsewhere. I send all my referrals here. I used to be a general manager at a large auto dealer and appreciate a shop that treats everyone like family.

Ace Muffler Clinic has amazing staff, they go above and beyond to get the job done. Theyre extremely polite! Ive taken all my vehicles there, trucks to cars and always have been happy about the ways the job turns out. Ive never needed a second opinion because I know theyre gonna give the best opinion. They work on government vehicles, transit busses and cop cars.

I am getting the run around with these people they told me twice to bring my vehicle in the next day but than its the next day and said my vehicle probablywont be done until the day after. the first i talked to was very rude with me and if butch was still around he would of kicked this guy right out of his shop. I always dealt with Joe but I havent seen him lately . maybe he retired from that place

Stay away from this place its complete garbage since Butch died, not into helping customer only looking for huge profit and ripping you off and never even fixing the problems. If Butch saw what was going on these days at his shop none of those jerks would have jobs and they should be ashamed of how rude and crooked they are being and go back to their honest roots the way Butch ran it.

Called about replacing a catalytic converter. Told me Id have to pay $1000 for a whole new y-pipe because its to tight of a space to weld the converter. If youre taking the y-pipe off anyways, why cant you weld on a new converter and put it back on the vehicle?

I trust them to repair my car at a reasonable price. That days it all!

I brought in a car I had just obtained, a pretty elderly PT Cruiser in serious need of an oil change and some new plugs and cables. It wasnt broken, just running poorly, and after a couple of recommendations I brought it in to Ace to have the work done.Doing anything to a car this old (138k miles) is a tricky proposition, its not uncommon to get it back with something else wrong or have it go out a couple days later. None of that happened, the car runs twice as well now, they did a good job and the price was fairly reasonable ($200 for oil, plugs/cables and a tuneup).Others have said that it takes a while to get work done here, but I think a big part of that is how busy they are (they were packed on the Monday I brought it in) and I count that as an endorsement. Its worth it to be patient if they do it right the first time and you dont end up paying for shoddy work.Ill be going back to Ace, I was pleased with the work and its hard to find a mechanic who knows how not to mess up an old car. No complaints, very happy.

My parents have taken their cars here for decades and I trusted them to take my car here as well. Over the years, I took each of my cars here for a period of about 12 years. I brought a car here, about a couple years or so ago, for a repair I cant remember, and when I left, my heads-up display didnt work. No big deal, I didnt complain to them, I was just happy the car was working at the time. This was their second strike in my book. I brought it there a few months later with a problem of my cabin light not turning off. It was a battery killer. I brought the car in and I got a call the next day saying it was ready. When I got the car back, I was relieved to see they had fixed the problem, however, before I could even leave the parking lot, I noticed that my stereo had no noise coming out whatsoever. It was getting power, and you could see the radio station or the track the CD was on, but no sound. Ok, so I go inside to say something about the sound not working. I advise the gentlemen behind the desk that the stereo is getting no sound out of it and inform him I knew exactly what CD and what track I had left on in the car when I dropped it off (I am a musician so music is my life). I was told that it was broken when I brought it in. The gentleman then refused to have the shop look at it, and insisted on calling me a liar in front of another customer that was waiting to speak with him. I was mortified that this type of behavior is considered acceptable. I had started to dislike it the past few times I brought my vehicles there, for various reasons, but this was the final straw. Needless to say, I have never gone back, and never will. At least the battery doesnt go dead now from the cabin light staying on, right? I have been driving without a working stereo, but Ive made due with a battery powered jukebox in there, for years now. I am reminded of this horrific experience every day that I drive my car.

Always fast & friendly, fix what you need & reasonable cost. Dont look for appointment times tho. First come first served.
