Visited Flashes Fireworks on my trip into SC. The owner couldnt have been nicer and more courteous. Was very engaging. We went for souvenirs and there was a wonderful selection of South Carolina themed souvenirs. If your in SC definitely worth a stopover at Flashes.

We were there yesterday and my wife and I found everything we couldnt get at the big warehouse fireworks store. I wish we had stopped at your place first! We also tried that Alien fireworks place and the prices were 2-3 times higher there, no lie.People - if you need a great variety and supply of quality fireworks, you wont find a better place. Gordon and his wife are good peoples. Check them out and support their local business - they arent a chain store, but they beat their prices.Gordon and his wife spoke to us shortly after we entered the store, were very friendly and offered some great advice on what was BOGO. I later asked Gordon a lot of questions about different fireworks and got him to share a bit about his business. We were about to check out and Gordon asked if there was anything we couldnt find? We told him we were looking for a 500-gram cake with red/white/blue mortars and he said I think I just got some in - come with me. He took me out to the side loading ramp where he had just unloaded a truck, opened up a case and voila! there was the exact one I was looking for. Thats true customer service.We will be back next year - and Flashes will be our first stop.Thank you Gordon and Jean!

Along my travels from Columbia to Charlotte I found these beautiful people. I make it a point to stop in here and buy anything I can. They are great God loving people and a great place to buy South Carolina trinkets and some fireworks to have fun with the kids.

These guys are amazing. I didn’t realize they weren’t open one weekend and they saw my out of state license plate and let me in anyway! They assumed I came there just to get fireworks and don’t want to disappoint! While I was passing through, it was still incredibly kind and unnecessary!I’ve been back twice since and they always have great ‘buy one get one free’ deals and they ALWAYS throw in a small but free firework.They are incredibly kind and friendly and genuinely want to help you find what you want. They also seem to truly enjoy their jobs.Highly recommend!!

Employees are helpful. I always get my fireworks from these folks.Edit. Just stopped in this week. Still great service and probably the best prices around. The owners are great people. They gave both my kids a stuffed animal. Last year a purchased a bunch of mortars and rockets and the owner told me I needed a finally and gave me one. This place is the only place I will get my fireworks from.

This place usually has a good selection although they sometimes sell out at busy times. The staff are very friendly. It is a pleasure to shop here.

Will 100% buy all my fireworks and South Carolina souvenirs from here.My mother was visiting from out of state and wanted to get some South Carolina gifts. But I had no idea where would have any besides tourist cities. But we passed by here and had to stop. I was surprised how much of a selection they had. I even ended up getting some shirts for my son and I. They went above and beyond to help us and even had a little goodie bag for my son. Ive never shopped anywhere that cared so much about their customers. Was a pleasure. And will definitely be back there. They earned a new customer for life.

They typically have a good selection. Prices for many things seem reasonable. The aisles are tight. This made crowds unbearable on July 3, and checkout a mess of people wrapped around the walls unsure of who was in line and how to get through. Exhaust fans is the method of air circulation. During the pandemic on a busy day, I was uncomfortable around patrons and employees not wearing masks. Any other time and a better date, it’s more comfortable.

I was passing through on a tight schedule but knew what I was looking for. The proprietor helped me find what I wanted and I was in and out of there in under 10 minutes! Very friendly and helpful service, tidy store. I tested one of the bottle rockets and WOW I thought it was going to reach the moon!

Just stopped in earlier today. I can tell you, if you’re looking for heavy hitters in NC/SC this is where you want to go. Gordon(Flash) is personable and will lead you in the right direction. THEY SELL BARELY LEGAL SHELLS. BEST place for fireworks in SC. THANK YOU!

Tonight was my first time here. I walked in the door and was greeted with smiling faces immediately. I was asked if I needed any help and they told me about their specials. As I was shopping, I noticed Christian music playing and I felt right at home. Thank you for your kindness tonight. I will be back.

Good fireworks, got some that didnt work, but the ones that did were nice. They were buy 1 get 1 free. Very busy, and not well organized. But I got in and out pretty quick considering.

UPDATE,.. 5/15/21,..Its that time of the year again when we take our ride to Flashes to get our fireworks. We just left there and as always they treated us as if we were family. They really know how to treat everyone. My wife, brother and myself enjoyed talking with them and catching up on things that happened over the past year. You folks are a pleasure to come see every year. Thanks again for all you do. And a BIG P.S.,..Get your fireworks earlier than you would normally do. Trust me, your definitely going to have to,...LAST YEARS REVIEW,.. These folks are the real deal. Family owned, helpful and very honest people, as pure as youre going to get. I got a flat tire and pulled into their parking lot this morning. The owners came outside offered to change my tire I advised them a tow truck was already on the way. They stated if I needed to come inside and use the bathroom or anything that I was more than welcome. We have purchased fireworks from them before and we will continue to because of their great customer service and friendly family atmosphere. Thanks!

Went to get fireworks for the 4th. Knew it would be crowded but everything flowed. didnt take too long. But they get you on their prices make sure you read the tags!!! Was buying the buy1 get 1 but when you get to the register that is not the case! And not to mention they are 100% mark up for the holiday. So you really arent getting anything on sale. Good luck! Youre better off going to Pineville for fireworks!!!!

Even though its not the 4th of July. I came to the store hoping they had something left over but almost empty. But the guy and the woman at the store. Helped me so much with what they had and i really appreciate that. They are wonderful people and if they dont have what you want. Dont curse the people because you were too stupid to stock up. I give 5 all the way.

Flashes Fireworks is fantastic. They had a large selection to choose from and the employees were very friendly and polite. They gave us very good recommendations on the fireworks and informed us about a local peach stand as well. We will continue to stop here as we pass through.

My mother and I are traveling far and we needed to grab last miniute souvenirs. We stopped and I only ran in for a quick minute to pick something out cause my little dog was in the car. I was in and out. They have a small but beautiful selection of souvenirs. When I got to the car waiting for my mother I realized my glass I bought was nicked just a bit. I didn’t want to leave my dog again so when my mother came out I asked her if she can run in so I can exchange it since I just left the store, but knowing all sales are final. Miss. Gene sent my mom back out to the car with six of the same mug I bought so I can choose the one I liked best! It was the kindest sweetest gesture I’ve probably ever encountered from a stranger and it nearly brought a tear to my eye. I appreciate that so so much. All the girls working were very kind to me. Next time we’re in town we will definitely be back! ♥️

Ive been buying all of my fireworks at Flashes for the past ten years. The first time I stopped in, I talked to Flash about what I liked and he guided me to the fireworks that best met my criteria. He was helpful and extremely knowledgeable about what he sold. It turns out he used to work for a company that prepared and conducted professional fireworks shows.His store has a great selection and great prices. He knows what I like and always recommends new products that he thinks I will like (and he is always right).

They have a good selection of fireworks. Prices are reasonable plus they give you freebies on top of your purchase(not sure if it was for promotion or if you spend a certain amount). The store is clean and items are easy to find.

Just visited about an hour ago. We were really big fans of Red Rocket but since they closed down we were looking for another good place to get our holiday fireworks. Stopped here heading home to Virginia from Georgia. The couple that owns this place are such genuinely nice people. They were so helpful and their prices were way better than Red Rocket a few exits away. They werent just trying to make money like the guy at Red Rocket, they asked us what types of things we were looking for and even steered us away from fireworks they thought we would be disappointed with! Will be stopping here on every Georgia trip from now on!

First time stopping and will stop in every year going forward. Greeted at the door by the owner who was very welcoming and helpful. Store was clean and the bathrooms smelled great and well maintained. Prices seem the same as any place but the service is what will bring us back again and again.

Friendly staff!! Real pleasure to deal with a staff that was willing to help us and even save us some money as to showing us cheaper alternatives for what we were looking for. This Damn Yankee will be back again, lol!
