Anderson rd in rock hill needs help!! Maybe I came on a bad day or something. I was told a rental was available over 48hrs prior. Went to get it waited over 20min.When I asked the associate on the computer was everything ok he said they are trying to figure stuff out there wasnt enough rentals.I figured he could of said that when I walked in . There were people waiting after me as well. I felt bad for them, he probably didnt tell themnothing either, just sitting there looking thinking your gonna get a rental.. if you dont know what you are doing just say that. Time is valuable!!... but I had to go, so I left.πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™€οΈ.

I absolutely HATED my experience with this business! Made a reservation a little over two weeks ahead of time for a 7 passenger vehicle; got to my RSVP(which was at 5pm- they close at 6.)(So do their competitors) only to be told they don’t have a vehicle for me. Tried to give me a 5 passenger vehicle to say we’d have to strap the other two on top πŸ™„ Unacceptable! I asked why wasn’t I given a courtesy call or email and I was told, β€œOur phones have been ringing off the hook” πŸ™„ Whatever! Y’all had TWO WEEKS to make accommodations for my RSVP or to let me know you couldn’t! Trip RUINED!!

First off they need additional agents at this location, but it is not like corporate will see this. The agents here worked so hard for us to try to get us a vehicle. I reccomend coming before the allotted time slot incase something needs to be worked out. His personal customer service is the best we have ever experienced! Clem was patient, thorough and very helpful. Terrible. First, we had a practically beg them to give us pricing. They said we had to look them up with our phones. Then we bought the car, paid cash, and got our name backwards on the paperwork They didnt give us any paperwork. They kept lying to us and said they sent it, went they didnt. They only we finally got them to send it, was I called Charlotte office and they finally got them to do their job. Stay away. Go to Charlotte instead. These guys are awful

Horrible service - Went to the dealer this morning as needed a rental for the day. They proceeded to let me know it would be a $50 refundable hold plus the $35 daily rate. Completely understood and paid the $85. THEN a couple of hours later, they proceeded to charge me AGAIN for an extra $151. When I called in, I was told there was a glitch in the system. I asked my husband to call and they told him it was an extra hold? Im sorry, an EXTRA HOLD? First of all, this was NOT explained at initial pick up NOR was it signed off on. I feel this was dishonest and I will never recommend this location to anyone. I will also be calling Stateline Dodge and speaking to whoever I need to speak to in order for them to discontinue service with this Hertz. No use in calling and asking for a manager as it was no help. Its easy to call it an accident when it is not your money. DO NOT USE!

I would not recommend going to this place to very unprofessional! They couldn’t help an elderly man sign the paperwork that was needed for him to sign paperwork so if you have any kind of health issues better stay away. Just had a few pieces of paper to sign they would not allow him to sign inside the vehicle and made him walk inside the place where he could barely walk while he was helping his granddaughter buy a vehicle!

DON’T DO IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would rate this place a zero if I could. First of all my car was supposed to be ready at 12:00 p.m and I did not get it until 5:00 pm. Second I received the car dirty with empty snack paper in the driver door. The staff doesn’t care about customer service except the one younger black lady. They told me I had to wait because they were β€œservicing the car” but they LIED. Driving on the interstate out of town the check oil light came on!!!! We had to pull over in an unknown town to get the car serviced!!! I rented a medium body car and didn’t Even get it!! They gave me a compact car!!!!

My 18 year old daughter made her first new car purchase from Hertz. We werent able to go in to sign the paperwork until right at close and they stayed there way beyond close time to help us get her into that car. The staff was professional and made us feel comfortable.A month later her battery died in her car. My daughter called Hertz to ask if it was included in the warranty that she purchased. It was not. However, they told her to go to Pep Boys, get the battery replaced, and they will cover it anyway! THAT is going above and beyond! We are very thankful that we bought a car from a place that has integrity and values.Our oldest daughter purchased her car from Hertz 2 years ago, so thats why we came here to begin with. We will be purchasing all of our vehicles from Hertz. Thank you!I want to give a huge shout out to our salesman.. he was awesome! I just wish I could remember his name.. it was Taryn I believe?

Most satisfying car buying experience Ive ever seen or dealt with. Accompanied my son while he purchased his first high value, top of the line vehicle. A fantastic Cadillac ATS that I would have loved to own myself. I was very impressed of the procedure they follow, the professionalism of the entire staff and the great caring and excellent salesmanship of Mr Troy Massey. Totally non-stressful!! Purchased a 2015 Camry from Hertz Auto Sales in Rock Hill, SC. Overall excellent car buying experience. (My husband and I hate buying cars or parting with large sums of money.) Sales Representative, Al, gave us the opportunity to think through our purchase with no pressure. Business Manager, Tom, was courteous and helpful with outlining our purchase and warranty. Location Manager Ty, is a man of his word and easy to work with. We found a cosmetic issue after purchased. Ty and Al stated the issue would be addressed 100% and it was promptly. We highly recommend the Hertz Car Sales Team of Rock Hill.

They get a 1 Star for nice cars was there for an hour while the sales man helped me and others all at the same time stood outside for 15 mins while he found a set of keys then stood another 15 while he helped someone else with a car they had bought Earlier in the day he was supposed to email me my buyers agreement because I have my own finance I waited two hours for that email then asked if the price was negotiable and he said no because my bank would only finance for so much he did not even ask me how much I want to takeoff the price he don’t know if it was $50 $1000 or $2000 he told me my bank is trying to dictate what I can do mind you I have two loans through my bank with cars Plus other loans with my bank one star it’s for the nice cars and he was a friendly guy that’s it I think it’s ridiculous they didn’t even try to negotiate to make a sale guess they didn’t want my business

I was very disappointed in the service that was provided at the Rock Hill lot this past Thursday. What a different experience that I had on Thursday compared to 2015 when I purchased a car from the Rock Hill location. I couldn’t believe how the salesman were running around the lot trying to serve three or more customers and having them wait for long periods of time. Finally when I was serve they sent a very inexperienced lady to serve me that couldn’t tell the difference between the cars on there lot. Well I finally got enough and went to the Columbia lot and the service was very professional and it felt like salesman really wanted to sell a car and they treated the entire family good. Can’t say enough good thing about Quinton Wilson over at the Columbia lot. Great professionalism and he knows how to sell a car. Hope Rock Lot will take some notes and copy what Columbia is doing because you will continue to loose business. By the way I bought car also from the Columbia lot.

Their prices were the best around, only a small fee, no dock fees or other BS. Al Stevenson was our salesman, he was low pressure and overall, he and the dealership went well above and beyond to take care of us.

I would have given one star if not for the great car prices they have. I guess that is the main thing when you are looking for a vehicle, but if you want a place that has good customer service and prices this is not your place. Customer service during the sale was poor, but after the sale has been terrible. They still do not have my registration straight, and it been over a month, and I cant get any information from them about what is going on, or get anyone to call me back. I probably will not go back.

I bought my first car here recently and had a great experience. We went to a big box dealer the night before and didnt think it was too bad (decent salesman but went really heavy on the guilt when we made it clear we wouldnt be purchasing that day), but this experience was a total 180. We came in looking at two specific makes/models, and Troy did a great job showing us the different options. He owns the same type of car we ended up getting, which definitely helped us feel confident. It was a much better experience walking around with him than the day before, and we felt very comfortable with him.I was nervous about going into the financing conversation, even though I had a loan secured already, but the business manager Tom was incredible. He actually secured me more favorable financing with less money down than I planned, and it felt like he was genuinely working to help me and not just himself. And Ty gave us a good deal on my trade-in, a bit more than I was realistically expecting.One thing thats great to note is that the internet price includes the documentation fees, which are pretty reasonable here compared to franchised dealers. So youre not going to be surprised by another $500 + on top of the actual car price, which was a big selling point for me.Buying a car is stressful and exhausting, but we had as good of an experience here as I think you can have buying a car, and we will definitely have them in mind in a few years when my husband needs a new car.

I bought my own, first car here and I couldnt be more happy with the car I have. With the help of Troy in deciding on my car, I was able to find my dream car within minutes while being assisted in the most friendly and polite way. And with the help of Justin, the process in actually buying the car was very quick and efficient. Most car lots you spend a short time browsing and not being completely satisfied in your options, and the salesmen arent always pleasant. But here I faithfully bought a car in hours on my first day of looking at cars.

Purchasing a car here was a simple process. I already knew which car I wanted after doing research online and when I had contacted the sales team I was contacted about coming in and doing a test drive. The sales associate had allowed me to take the car to a mechanic to be checked out and the vehicle had checked out okay other than a minor dent in the vehicle. There was no high pressure to purchase the vehicle and the financing person was willing to work within my budget with the car payments. The only high pressure selling was in purchasing an extended warranty which the finance person believed in. Otherwise I had a positive experience in purchasing the vehicle.

They were very informative and did not rush me through the process. Justin worked with me to find a better rate then what my bank was offering me (11.9%) Justin was able to get me 4.9%, crazy right?Troy answered all the millions of questions I had and did the walk around with me to address any issues I had with the car.

I would like to begin this review by stating I wanted desperately to enjoy my car buying experience with Hertz Car Sales. But, it has been far from enjoyable.Summary: Don’t buy from the Rock Hill Hertz Car Sales. They are extremely unorganized and lack communication. They took advantage of myself (a young college student) and my elderly grandmother. We paid them for a service (vehicle registration) which still is still incompleted months later after we bought the vehicle.Details:My experience with Rock Hill Hertz Car Sales began nicely. Clem Miller (our sales person) brought a vehicle I was interested in from their Columbia location to Rock Hill, which I greatly appreciated. The vehicle was dirty, but Clem offered to clean it. This is the end of any good customer service.To begin with, the vehicle had only one key. I accepted this because I had no intent in haggling with Hertz due to their policy. The vehicle also had less than a quarter tank of gas when we bought it. These though, were all minor issues.When filing for a loan for the vehicle I was interested in purchasing Buzz somehow began financing a loan for a different vehicle, a more expensive one. We were very confused as to why monthly payments were much higher than expected. Eventually, my spouse noticed that Buzz was financing us a completely DIFFERENT more EXPENSIVE vehicle. We were in his offices for hours because of this mistake and others. Also, a side-note, they are very pushy with their extra vehicle coverages.After we left the office I was very excited to have my *new* (used) vehicle. Weeks passed though, and I never received my vehicle registration (which I paid for them to do!). I called multiple times and was told it had been handled and that it should arrive in the mail soon. Then I got a letter from the DMV saying my license was going to be suspended and I had accumulated a large amount of fees because the vehicle I traded in to Hertz had no car insurance. I took off work and went to the DMV a few days later to handle this issue and discovered Hertz NEVER completed my vehicle registration OR the paperwork for the vehicle I traded in more than a MONTH AGO. So, the DMV still thought I owned my previous car and I was paying insurance on my new car (a car I apparently didn’t even own). Hertz had been lying to my grandmother and myself this entire time, they had never completed the vehicle registration. When confronted, they blamed a new system in place for South Carolina. They should have been prepared for this new system and not lied to my family and myself when they had not handled it.It has been 2 months now and I still do not have my vehicle registration. I have called, and they told me that they are working on it. It should have been done over a month ago. If I get pulled over I will be the one at fault. I need my vehicle to travel to school, work, and my internship.Lesson here: If you want to be lied to, take time off of work to go to the DMV, receive no compensation, AND have to initiate all communication (because they do not care) then I recommend this place. We have spent many hours calling trying to resolve problems this dealership caused. In other words – DO NOT BUY FROM HERE.Also, dont even get me started on the money they were supposed to refund me two months ago. Still waiting.

Yesterday, when I walked into Hertz Auto Sales of Rockhill I was treated like family. I did not have to wait very long to be helped.and the service was great! My awesome experience started when I contacted them on Saturday and talked to Al Stevenson, from there Troy took over and found me just the right car, in my price range. Both Ty (Location Manager) and Tom (Business Manager) did a great job making sure the car I test drove stayed in my price range and gave me a great deal on my trade in! This team works together to make sure that their customers are satisfied and leave their lot with a reliable, affordable vehicle. Overall, I am very pleased with the service and my experience with Hertz Auto Sales. I highly recommend this establishment.

My past car buying experience with Hertz Car Sales (Charlotte, NC. on South Blvd – David Rodriguez) was so good that my coworker bought his car from Hertz as well. When I needed another car, I obviously went back to Hertz. However, the car I wanted was in Rock Hill, South Carolina. (Should have gone to him to transfer the car) We went to Rock Hill. We test drove the car we liked. One of the tires seemed low but it did not affect the test drive. The Salesperson said that the car was not in the system yet, so they needed time to get the car ready the car, I would get a call. On the next day, she called me to tell me that there was another person who wants the same car, so I needed to start the paperwork, which I obliged. The car was ready on the 4th day at 4PM. I got everything ready, incl insurance. However when I called her to let her know we were coming she was not happy because its too cold outside - cant you come tomorrow? - earlier that day I was told I had to come do the rest of the paperwork and buy that day since someone else who was looking at the car would purchase it. I insisted that we come pick up the car that day. She said it would take 30 min or so to complete the paperwork. It took much longer than that and it took extra time because they did not enter my middle name correctly. (And they applied for my financing on my behalf with WRONT INFORMATION that I was declined – I have an EXCELLENT CREDIT SCORE – Now I am receiving letters declining my application from different banks…hope they didn’t ruin my credit score.) By that time they finished, it was past their closing time. So when I finally was ready to drive off, as I got in the newly purchased car, it was dark. I noticed that the low-pressure warning was on – which by the way, came on during the test drive. It was STILL ON. The pressure was very low - it would have been dangerous to drive. She said I should just stop at the gas station. I told her the mirror was not adjustable -You can just go to the dealership or PepboysI took the newly purchased car 8 days later, which is the first day off since the purchase of the car. I went to the dealership first thing in the morning. Since they offer free inspection, I let them. I also asked them to check the passenger rear tire as well. They came back and told me that front brake pads are worn out, the tire had a puncture that needed patching. I called Hertz Rock Hill but there was something wrong with the phone system (which was proven by an associate later) and I did not get through until the dealership started working on replacing the pads. When I finally got through, I was kept on hold, on and on and on because they were busy, because the salesperson had to consult with the manager. And finally when I was able to speak to the manager he said I should not have taken my car to the dealer. There was no apologies for the inconvenience. Only an insult.The car was not detailed. I found a fast food straw in the armrest compartment, and a rental ticket with someone’s private information on it. There were a couple of small items that belonged to someone. Scratches the salesperson said they’d fix were not fixed.Both Scott the Sales Manager and Johnny Groves the Branch Manager have been nothing but rude or avoidant.I tweeted the experience and the corporate said they will look into it. They were nice in the beginning. But after sharing the details with them, even the corporate is not responding. In the meantime, Pepboys have been in touch with me – Hertz is lying about having my car inspected. It never has been inspected.

Ty ruined our experience at Hertz. I had been dealing with a wonderful salesman which I recommend if you choose to shop here, his name was Albert Stevenson. This man was so kind, patient, understanding and respectful. Honestly one of the kindest salesman you would encounter. Another gentleman was helping us while Albert had other customers. Since buying a vehicle is a huge decision of course Im looking over flaws regardless if its used because Im about to spend thousands on something I need to love. While Im looking over flaws we tell the gentleman helping us that we probably will just go down the road and think about it since we drove 2 hours just to see it. He asked what I wasnt liking and one of the main things I point out is the bad shape a spot in the interior was (not stating it is a deal breaker, stating I have to seriously think if Ill be happy with it or not and will I zone into that spot with bitter each time I drive my vehicle). He says he can ask because that probably could be fixed so he does. He brings Ty out. Ty never looks at us, never introduced himself. Look at the spot, literally standing inches from me AGAIN doesnt look at me, turns his head barely back to that gentleman and snaps Im NOT fixing that...this is a used car!! No! and storms away like we have wasted his time, like we are stupid because we dont understand what used cars are. You do not ever treat customers in this manner! That is beyond disrespectful. Albert apologized, he told us he understood, ect. Again Albert was just amazing...so kind!We ended up going and buying the same vehicle...used, in better condition but had Ty treated us with respect they probably would have sold the vehicle. He was what made us decide to walk away from a vehicle we drove 2 hours just to see! I dont recommend doing business with someone that has such a poor attitude and I believe he is the location manager, says a lot in itself but if you do certainly only deal with Albert Stevenson!

My husband and I were needing a car ASAP and we made it out to Rock Hill because of another car dealerships internet ad (which is located down the street from Hertz). When we got there it was horrible the cars were dirty and of course as soon as we pull up, there comes a pushy sales guy to meet us. I had in my hand all the details of the car we drove out there to see and he took my list and immediately wanted us to come inside. All we wanted to do was look at the car first. We took it for a spin and I was not all that pleased, but on the road test I peeped a Hertz auto sales in the corner and the cars were beautifully washed. So as soon as we got back I already had my mind set on trying them out next. We left the smelly dealership and headed to Hertz.... What a huge difference! The cars were clean and Al (our sales rep) greeted us after we walked around a bit. He stayed nearby but was not pushy at all. He asked if we wanted to take a look inside so we did and test drove our new Camry. We immediately fell in love. It was exactly what we were looking for and the price was within our budget. The paperwork took a little longer than expected but nothing to the extreme. Justin explained our loan options and we felt comfortable buying from them. Overall, this was probably the best car buying experience Ive had. Great job guys!

Great experience! Good selection of SUVS to look at and test drive. Not the pushy, slow, and painful process experienced at most dealerships. Bought a RAV4 in very good condition for a good price. Sales staff, back office and management are all experienced and very competent. The only glitch in an otherwise efficient transaction was clumsy handling of check verification by 3rd party company Hertz uses to verify checks, but I cant blame the local guys for that.

My job recently moved me to TX and my young adult son is still in Charlotte NC. When his transmission went out in his car we needed a car quick. I had purchased from a rental car sales before due to knowing that these cars are regular maintained. I called a few places that were not accommodating to my situation or did not provide good customer service before calling Hertz Car Sales in Rock Hill which is just outside Charlotte. From phone call one this dealership bent over backwards to help me and my son. I dealt with three employees with excellent customer service: Ty, Justin, and Sheldon(Haas). Thanks so very much for making a difficult time much easier. It was very much appreciated. If you are looking for a no hassle no pressure purchase then give this dealer a look.

I rented a vehicle here for an auto repair, I was charged for more then i was told on my credit card. When i called management to ask why, I received HORRIBLE customer service from the Management ChaRon, he cut me off through out the conversation, and wouldnt acknowledge his wrong. He provided me with a 1800 number that didnt have anything to do with anything, Ill be continue making others aware do not visit the Rental branch on N. Anderson Rd, In Rock Hill,sc,I would like for him to be reprimanded for his customer service, how can you have a personnel in management with that sort of attitude and no empathy for customers. Horrible representation for Hertz Rental car company. It would also be nice to be reimbursed for the extra $13 i was charged. on top of my $50 deposit, because I TOLD him that I wanted to sign up for the gas program after he explained how it worked. im just more so offended by the treatment I received, I was polite and still received disrespect.I have since filled a complaint via corporate email, and I will now file a complaint on the better business bureau and ill be letting the insurance company know so that they are aware of what type of company they are associating themselves with. staff needs to pay attention by active listening or at least verifying.

This locations is very unprofessional and not worthy of even 1 star. They would rather say that they are closed than make guaranteed money. Unsympathetic to a misunderstanding and not willing to help a customer at all. The only thing you can count on from this location is that you will be up the creek without a paddle if you make a simple mistake. They do not care about their customers.

Im a first time car buyer and I had a great experience today at Hertz. I had done some online looking on the website and saw a few things but nothing that immediately caught my eye. When I got there Haus immediately came out and we began talking. He was extremely nice and helpful and made sure he explained that he doesnt work off commission on the cars. This made me a whole lot more comfortable knowing he wasnt going to push a more expensive car even if it wasnt a good deal. So once I explained a little on what I was looking for and what my budget was we started walking the lot and looking at the cars. We came on a Hyundai that I probably never would have noticed if Haus hadnt pointed it out. So we checked it out, test drove it around town and then a few hours later Im signing on the dotted line. Tom was the one who helped finalize my saw after Haus helped and he was just as kind and helpful. Overall, I had a great experience and I didnt feel like I was being taken advantage of. I definitely got the best deal possible and I recommend Hertz to anyone looking for a great car with a great deal and great miles! 10 out of 10 :)

An Overall Awesome Experience Here At Hertz!Ive been to many car dealerships in search for a solid used vehicle in the Charlotte area. And thank goodness I decided to venture out to Rock Hills Hertz Car Sales. They were not at all pushy and Im the type of guy that has to take my time to do my research.
