Competitive pricing and you cant beat the service

We bought 4 large windows and a French door at a cost of nearly $7000. The quality and workmanship is truly second rate, not as advertised in their show room. We contacted the store manager with our concerns and he agreed to replace the defects with a higher grade material. It has been sitting on our deck for over 3 weeks and the store manager will not reply to our emails. I would never buy another product from them nor would I recommend anyone else. Apparently The Building Center is only concerned about making a sale and not their reputation.

I love to shop local but they have a very small selection they didnt have any lag screws other than giant ones.

They were quick to help me and assist in loading up what I needed.

The entire staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The manager, Jeff, grew up in the lumber business and works hard to train his staff. Customer serve is top notch.

If you want to get trusses look elsewhere. Get quoted with a rake and delivered without after asking to be sure it had a rake or didnt. I upped the count by one and was confirmed for the increase. They delivered late and one short. I was guaranteed the one truss to be delivered b y end of week. They didnt deliver it and the truss plant didnt care at all. SO much for customer service and undrest and in time lines etc... David at York was the only one will to help out of the entire group. I should have gone with the cheaper place Carter Lumber at least I would have covered my hassle. I will never use The Building Center again and would advise others against it also. If you like calling being told I will check on it and call you back but never get a call business, then by all means use The Building Center.

The staff here is well informed on their decking and railing lineup.
