Super customer service and an extremely high level of expertise. Very lucky to have found this out of the way shop. Highly recommended.

Let me just start by saying I’m an avid cyclist and I always try and support my local bike shop. This one, however, I will never support again! I took my very high-end mountain bike to get a spoke replaced. In order to not take off the tire and rim tape they removed the disk brake and cassette instead. After getting the spoke replaced the young guy (nice kid) was having a hard time figuring out how to reinstall my cassette. After about 20 minutes he finally got it back on the hub. The only problem was it was done incorrectly. About 10 days later I took it out for a ride and it was making an unusual noise. So I then took it back in and told them that I didn’t think they put the cassette back on correctly as I’ve heard a similar noise in the past as I’ve only been mountain biking 35 years. So the other guy tried telling me it was probably my rim and I said no, the noise wasn’t present before I brought it to them. Then he told me the cassette could’ve been installed incorrectly but he couldn’t get to it. I told him if it wasn’t installed correctly that I shouldn’t have to wait till the following week if they had made the error in putting it back together. At that point he told me he’d look at it the following day and get back to me the Friday before July 4th weekend. Needless to say I heard nothing that Friday then missed out on a bunch of rides over the holiday weekend. So finally Tuesday rolls around and I’ve missed 4 perfect days of riding and they tell me it won’t be until Thursday they can look at it. At this point I called another highly respected shop and went and got the bike. Long story short, they installed the cassette incorrectly, the spoke tension was off on the drive side and once everything was done correctly the wheel was absolutely silent. In all my years of cycling I’ve never had a shop mess up on a repair and take a week to remedy a problem they created. This shop is totally incompetent and I will not be back. The other shop will get all my business moving forward as they immediately took care of it the following day. Too bad I didn’t give the other shop the hundreds of dollars in business over the few short months I’ve lived here. Anyone in Fort Mill/Rock Hill should make the drive to a good bike shop that puts their customers first! This is DEFINITELY not that shop!

Audrey rules!! My bike had been in storage for way too many years. As much as I wanted Bike Town to rehab my mountain bike to usable condition, I knew the odds were very much against a desirable outcome. Audrey went out of her way to explain the challenges and the cost of rehab and it just made no sense to pursue the repairs. She offered some considerations to purchase new and recommended some options. Well done Audrey! I will be back.

Some months ago, they overhauled my bike. Did a great job, thank you. Yesterday, I brought my front flat tire in to Miss Audrey. While Audrey change my tire, I went next-door to the coffee shop and enjoyed a small latte. I barely had time to finish my latte because Audrey was so fast. We also had a discussion about sizing my bicycle seat. We were joined by another woman who works there. Rather than hard sell me a new saddle, they counseled me to make adjustments to the existing seat which I bought before moving to SC. No hard sell! I appreciate that very much. I have noticed that these folks are always polite and again the service has been outstanding. I would highly recommend.

Great location and cool shop but if you own a Trek and need warranty serve they will turn you down. They say go to the shop you bought it from which in reality any Trek shop can do warranties. Pure laziness in my opinion.

I live 35 miles (Charlotte University Area) away from Bike Town and only came to this location because of referral from a friend. I am so pleased with the customer services I received. Trek is a great product......but good old customer services is why I will keep coming back.Curtis Carroll

Bike Town managed to refresh and tune up my 36 year old bicycle into top shape. It has never felt better to ride it. They communicated everything that needed to be done, were honest about the time it would take and notified me multiple times when it was ready to pick up. Great people, knowledgeable, nice clean, orderly store. I highly recommend .

Performed repairs on my bike as discussed. Did a great job and for less than estimated. I had an older mountain bike that needed a good deal of attention and the person I spoke with was concerned with making the bike safe above all. Very nice and straightforward which I really appreciate. They are not trying to push anything except what you are intrested in doing. Im taking my other 2 bikes to them for sure.

We brought our bike in for a tune-up after it was exposed to salt corrosion after moving from NH during a surprise autumn snow storm that caused the rear derailleur to seize. When we picked up the bike it looked and performed like new. Everything was cleaned and put back to factory spec. We were also very pleasantly surprised at the cost of the repair. Bike Town is the place to go if you enjoy biking as much as we do.

She is super friendly, answered all my questions, worked with me to lock down an order and then helped me to seamlessly change the order when I needed to. Top notch service.

Im an out of towner that crashed my bike on one of the single tracks and was lucky enough to have my bike repaired by the next day (was heading home in 2 days). Picked up my bike this morning and road it 7 miles with no issues, very accommodating and they do excellent work for a fair price, highly recommend.

We dropped our bike off for a tune up and minor repairs. Two weeks later they notified us that major damage had been done to the front forks and they claimed they didnt see it on their initial inspection. They refused to initially even release the bicycle unless we bought new forks from them, which we refused. Bike Town then stripped everything off of our bicycle put it in a bag and gave it back to us with missing parts. I do NOT recommend Bike Town.

I am one of those folks who do their own bike maintenance. I was performing maintenance on my Mavic freehub when one of the two palls flew out losing the tiny spring which is required to make it work. I went to the Bike Town store and spoke to Nathan Rogut and while they did not have the part in stock he knew he had one home. Told me to come back in the morning which I did. Thank you Nathan this works just fine. This is really a testament to the folks who work there. Now that is Customer Service.

So I live beside bike town and I bought a bike from Walmart for like 140. And, I am a 240 pound guy riding around on what i now know is a woman bikes. I was having issues with the gears and breaks. I took it to bike town and now my 140 dollar bike rides great I will definitely go back to bike town. Plan on buying my next bike from them their know how and friendliness where great. The only down side is wait time but they do have a lot of customers and covid-19 so 100 percent understandable.

Super friendly team and very thorough and honest in their approach to serve customers. I got my bike back on a routine service check up before the suggested window, which is great given the high demand during the pandemic. Really glad to have this type of shop in Rock Hill.

When they found out the order I had with them was going to take an extra 6-7 months from the original promised date, they helped me find an alternative solution which worked out. Friendly and helpful staff doing the best they can while operating in less than ideal conditions due to the pandemic.

Im very happy with the repairs on my bike and its riding great now. It needed several new parts but they felt that it was worth repairing as it was a good bike. It took a few weeks due to the surge in bicycling and also a part that had to be ordered, but they got it done quickly once the part came in. All the service people were very courteous and helpful and I wouldnt hesitate to go back in the future.

I needed Bike Town in a pinch as I was unable to change my inner tube with my tools (its been a while). They did a great job at keeping everyone safe by using their door as a barrier to separate service vc point of sale customers! They alert you with a status of your issue via text and email. I bought some updated tools while picking up my item. Smooth and easy! Will shop there again!

Even in the midst of the quarantine order they were available, knowledgeable and friendly.They were able to tune up my bike to better than new condition in less time than quoted and at a great price. Cant wait to see the shop when life gets back to normal. Definitely a repeat customer acquired!!

Fantastic shop! I took my bike in the other day and it is now riding better than ever. My old bike shop could not fix it the factory folks could not fix it but these professionals at Bike Town have it riding perfect. The real nice thing is they took time to educate me as well which is unusual but very nice. I would highly recommend that folks in the Rock Hill/Charlotte area support this shop. No need to go to the big box stores. This shop can do it all with a very fair price.

We bought two Treks from Biketown over the summer. The service was great! They went above and beyond to find the right bike for my sons birthday. They listed out ones that were coming in the next weeks and months and sent photos. I know this was a crazy busy season for them but their service did not disappoint. Thank you!

Very unprofessional customer service. Dropped off the bike on a Monday, never told it would be 10 - 14 days before it was fixed (or even touched). Son called after 2 days, thats when we were told 10-14 days. After 10 days, give them a call to check the status, the gentleman told me it was slated to be done the next day, Friday (day 11). Give them a call on Sunday and was told again, its slated to be started the next day (day 14) and she doesnt know who told me the other information.They need to improve communication amongst themselves as well as with customers. There is also no reason to deprive someone of their bike for 2 weeks when they arent vmeven going to look at it until the next day.

Service was great. I had them fix a few items on my bike in order to get it ready for some riding. They found additional items and took care of them as well. Super convenient and provided quick and exceptional service.

We’ve had 3 very positive experiences with Bike Town. It’s been hard to find bikes for my wife and kids with the demand right now and every other bike shop seems to be too busy to help whenever we call, but Bike Town has continually offered tons of help, answered all of my questions and ensured that we’ll continue to use them as our primary bike shop.

I always enjoy stopping by the shop just to see what they have on the floor and chat with the staff and customers. Great people and a great shop.

Called Bike Town after a few attempts at Charlotte bike shops that all seemed too busy, or too uptight to talk to a dad trying to get advice on a bike for his 10yr old. Bike Town picked right up and even though they were busy as can be from increased demand, I was able to have a conversation with them about what I was looking for and explain that I needed some help. It was so nice to get someone on the phone who was willing to guide me through and the genuine love for talking about bikes came right out of them. Ordering was easy. Delivery and assembly was as promised, and their recommendation on a bike was spot on. My kid loves his Trek Wahoo and has been riding nonstop since we picked it up.Thanks guys!

Bike Town is awesome!! I was thrilled to find this bike shop. I needed the brakes repaired on my electric trike and Bike Town did the repairs. I found them to be friendly, efficient, reliable, and easy to communicate with. Their pricing is more than reasonable and the quality of their biking supplies is great! I purchased a top notch helmet and a mirror. They called me to tell me the mirrors I chose would require cutting my handlebar grips. Since the right side grip s also my throttle, they felt it may damage the operation of my trike. They offered an alternative that would not require altering my trike and it was less expensive. I will recommend Bike Town to everyone!

I needed my sons bike to be repaired for a flat tire. A new tube was inserted in the tire. However, the staff suggested that a derailleur and a cable needed to be replaced as well. They repaired the bicycle overnight. I could not have received better service. The bill and labor was very reasonable. I would easily return for bicycle service in the future. My bike still had issues after my ridiculously overpriced tune up. Had to take it to NC Velo to have it done right.

Took my bike in for an intermediate tune up. I was told that it would take a week. (Which is crazy, but I understand that were going through a hard time)I came a week later and was treated almost like a bad guy for showing up without getting a call first.Noone told me that I shouldnt show up until I get a call. It is on the establishment to call me if they cannot make a dead line. So I left and waited for a call.A week goes by (a little over two weeks total) and I called. They told me that they havnt even ordered the part yet, so it was going to be more time. (Unreal)The time finally came. The call came. I was allowed to show up. A month after I dropped it off.280 dollars later, I got my bike. The brakes are really spongey and it wont even go in all the gears. Atrocious. I dont even think they checked it before they sent it out.I gave it a test run, and was so saddened by it and the whole experience I will just fix then myself.The two stars are because there was a really cool worker there. They other workers give off a terrible holier than thou millenial attitude.

First time taking a bike there for a tune up. It was a modest street bike for my wife, but they didnt talk down to us, they treated us with the same courtesy and respect they probably give to their serious bike customers. Will definitely have them service our bikes in the future.

Trying to buy a bike during a quarantine can be a challenge. Not so at Bike Town! From the first contact on Facebook to pickup, these guys were great to work with. My son is loving his Trek Precaliber and we couldnt be happier!

My experience..... let me start off with.... it was excellent! Staff greeted me as I walked in my sons bike. The gentleman who helped me was extremely polite and very knowledgeable. His recommendations were spot on. I am returning Monday for pickup in the evening. This may not sound like a big thing, but to a working father it means a lot. Now I will be my sons favorite Papa for all least one more day, LOL 😁

Bought a bike and had a few disappointing issues but the owner called me and resolved my issues and offered free tune ups. Not a lot of bikes on display and call before you take your bike for repair.

Bike Town staff were very knowledgeable and repaired my bikes on time and as requested. I highly recommend them for any bike repairs or products related to cycling. Spokey is very nice, too!

Was in town after being evacuated from the beach for hurricane Florence. I figured I would use my free time for a proper Retul bike fit. (Yes I brought my bike with me when I evacuated.) Tom did an awesome job! I highly recommend the service and Tom was very knowledgeable.

Was notified when my bike was ready for pick up . Excellent work. I was quoted 50.00 dollars for work but was charged 75.00. No big deal. I will always bring my bike to Bike town for work.

Excellent. I call one day and asked them if they could take a paddle off my bike. They said no problem come on in. They help me is 5 minutes. I also bought a handle bar extention that they put on. They were so helpful and nice I will definitely go bad. Everything is now set up perfectly on my bike.
