I love coming here to buy soju! They have really good prices and many flavors I cannot find anywhere else. They also offer all the classics and many unique choices as well. The owners are very friendly and helpful.

Visiting the area from out of town, and decided to do some bourbon shopping. So glad I stopped in Canal Ponds Liquor! For a mid sized store, they have an excellent, well thought out whisky selection at very competitive price points. The store owner was personable and quite knowledgeable about the products he stocks. He was able to recommend a couple less common bourbons based on my taste preferences.Already looking forward to a return visit next time I am in Rochester!

Completely rude with lack of adherence to safety standards an employee yelled at me for not wearing my mask correctly all while breaking social distancing guidelines. My mask was secured per CDC guidelines but the employee continued to overreach. Prices are extremely high and the store hygiene is disgusting. Wouldnt recommend ever going to this storeOnce again, my mask was worn properly worn. Obviously the owner needs a proper course on how to wear a mask and how to maintain hygiene within his store.Furthermore, theyre lack of respect is repulsive. I pray no one experiences this kind of disrespect.

The knowledgeable and helpful staff at this mostly family owned and operated establishment make it impossible to leave without the perfect pairing or taste that I desire. When looking to try something new, all I need do is inquire, and the staff will have me drooling with flavor combinations I didnt even know I wanted. Whether Im doing weekly shopping for my familys favorites, or trying to impress a special guest, Ive never left without exactly the right beverage. I recommend them highly.

Awesome liquor store. The owner Jeff is fantastic. Always willing to help you find some great liquors or wines tailored to your taste. On a budget or looking for something higher priced. He will point you in the right direction everytime.

I used to frequent this store before the change in ownership. At that time, the gentleman that owned it was extremely knowledgeable and helpful, so it became our go to liquor store. The change in ownership caused obvious concern as we thought we would lose that level of service wed always received. Not so. The new owners have been fantastic. On one occasion I believe he followed me through the store telling me the story of nearly a dozen different spirit manufacturers before I decided on what I wanted for the occasion. Always a great experience.

Over priced compared to other stores. I got charged double typical price for bottle of captian morgan.

I live kind of far away and Ive asked on several occasions for limited release stuff/rare stuff and they treat it like its a classified document and wont tell me what they have or wont sell it to me. They save the rare stuff for their friends and ppl that spend thousands of dollars there. Basically the average Person never had a chance at getting anything rare at this place. Bad business and I wont be there again.
