I dislike this Kroger with a passion I will drive out of my way to go to the Kroger on Lapeer Rd or even Meijer. The male employees especially in the meat department stare constantly at me every time I go, I see them sheepishly watch me. I come here nearly everyday to shop for myself or Instacart. The employees act like they’ve never stocked a shelf before taking up the whole isles talking and enjoying conversation with each other instead of getting out of my way when I obviously need something they are blocking.The male managers are always stocking shelves instead of the employees that they hired to be doing that, it’s sad watching them do something below their pay grade.I live not even a mile away and it’s so annoying I can’t feel comfortable coming here.

Absolutely nothing to do with Kroger. I had a bad experience with a cashier named Stephanie. I will make sure I never get in her line again. She is very rude.

Had a terrible experience with a elderly employee. I took her name down but found it unnecessary to put it inside this review. I was just at Kroger and she was scanning my items. She asked if I had a Kroger card and I told her I had a number instead I could use. She then proceeds to make me look like a fool and keeps asking for my Kroger card and does not understand what Im trying to say. She gave me a lot of attitude as well, rolled her eyes several times, and gave off an attitude in which she did NOT want to be there at all. EXTREMELY terrible employee and do not recommend coming to this Kroger again. It’s employees like these that scare away costumers. Absolutely terrible.

The angry, personality-free hag at the deli served someone else before me, after barking at me that she was in the middle of another order. Go to any other Kroger deli before this one

2:50pm and no checkout lanes open. If you dont have enough staff, close the store and combine your staff at a nearby Krogers.

They open early but nothing is out and the store is a wreck. Not a single register is open.. Its all self check out... Sigh...

Quick trip for groceries. Half the people are wearing masks half are not....Several of my normal items were out 😔

No matter what time or what day you go youll never find the bottle room working correctly. Getting help is also impossible as the 4 kids getting carts all day seem to have no idea how to fix the machines, which isnt their problem but managements lack of care is alarming. Need to go to Kroger? Go to a different location because this isnt it.

Clean store, well-kept. I even spoke with the manager during my visit. He was polite and quick to offer assistance.

Doesnt matter when I go, they are always sold out of sale items or have minimal left. The produce is always a huge gamble. It is so frustrating, its not even worth the stress of coming here for half my list and going to a different kroger for the rest.

If you like burning money you could try the curbside pickup here! The number of times weve ordered and paid for groceries and didnt get them is impressive.

This Kroger has very nice workers and it’s always clean. Always find fresh produce & there’s great deals on flowers! I always find what I’m shopping for and there are a good amount of sales. I will be continuing to go shopping there!

This is the worst Kroger store I have ever been to. They are ALWAYS out of stuff and the produce is absolutely horrible! This isn’t a once in a while kind of deal this is every single time I go to the store and that’s once or twice a week. I order groceries regularly, and they are consistently out of staple items. Avoid if at all possible!!

Lately they seem to be having trouble keeping popular items stocked. Good wine, cheese and beer selection, but very poor produce. Ill go here because its around the corner and thats really the only reason.UpdateEdited down another star. I’m tired of wasting fruit and produce from this store. Their onions are their huge problem area - usually old sprouting or slimy. Really, the produce area is the stores letdown.UpdateDown to one star. Zero if it could. I’m tired of this place. Nothing is stocked.

Dont come here for bakery items,. I had the opportunity to stand in front of the bakery counter for 12 minutes discussing with many staff members and customer service about the possibility of getting an after dinner snack, to no avail. After the 4 conversation with customer service Katelyn was nice enough to assist.

This Kroger store is large, well laid out, well-lit and stocked with a huge variety of items for purchase. I like it so much better than the smaller Krogers that are so crowded. The produce is fresh and very inviting. The meat counters are appealing and an amazing bakery is good. All in all a wonderful grocery store.

This is one of my least favorite Kroger’s in the area! They always seem to be sold out of everything, they have a lot less options for variety, and I always seem to spend significantly more money here than other Kroger’s (idk if it’s cuz they don’t offer the sales other locations do or what!)

My mother in law bought some beef ribs. When she opened the package there was an awful stench. The meat was rotten! She took the meat back to the store and Nick was behind the customer service counter. There was no apology for inconvenience or for selling rotten meat. Poor customer service. Unfriendly. Not even courteous. It was like business as usual. Our entire family never be back. Its hard enough to know whats in our food from manufacturers...but for our grocery stores to not take much more care in what they are selling is deplorable.

We love this store... The fresh veggies, the private select brand products and fair prices, however this store is a meat locker. Perhaps refrigerating the entire store year round keeps food fresh, but this is ridiculous. Silly thought, but if customers were comfortable wouldnt that help increase sales? I know for me if it were comfortable, I wouldnt be saying to my wife lets get what we need and get outta here.

This Kroger has very smart deli employees. Especially Tyler. He has a great attitude and a great name. Made my shopping fun for once. Thanks Kroger you rock

The store is well staffed and it is easy for you come in get what you need and come out quickly. They offer cylinder exchange for propane, as well as ice. They also have a walk pharmacy so you do not have to go inside the store. This store has one of the better cheese selections you can find at Kroger.

Customer service at this kroger is appalling and they do not take the time to assist customers. Awful. They always seem to be out of half the store.

The five stars are for the choice of foods available 🙂 but the price offers need to be clearer as I had two items that I thought were a cheaper price + one said buy 1 + get other free. This was not the case, it was only a certain one. The one I didnt choose. I will be more careful next time or ask if not sure.

My overall experience has been a positive one. The employees are nice and always helpful. And its super nice to have a place open till midnight in a town where everything seems to close by 9.I absolutely love the lady who usually works in the flower section. I specifically come to this Kroger to buy all my flowers because she always helps me pick out the nicest flowers. I also go to the Starbucks there (but sometimes feel the staff is understaffed at times). The sushi is made daily, so you know its fresh, and it tastes good too.Lastly, shoutout to the ladies and gents who works at the self checkout most nights. Theyre truly incredible and helpful and just the nicest people ever.

Loved the massage I received, did great things readjusting my back! They are flexible with appointments and have a short wait time for walk ins. Did great things for me and my kids.

Good produce selection, everyday food items are generally well stocked, and theyre starting to put together a fine collection of wine and craft beer options. Every so often, Ill stop here and grab some Boars Head meat - a little on the higher end, but absolutely delicious. The store shelves and floor are usually quite clean and orderly. All around, a good Kroger.

I know it sounds funny but I actually love going to Kroger Fresh Far. I especially enjoy the produce, bakery, deli and cheese sections. I always try to pick up a new type of cheese. Also, the staff is always pleasant and helpful. Great store.

Their staff is really rude to yell at my son for his shoe sliding off.. Last time when I bought the gold peak sweet tea and it expired.. Their fruits and vegetables are also not fresh.. Then should spend more time on checking those stuff 😡👎

I have tried many times to shop here. For some reason they choose to restock tge shelves at peak times making it so difficult to maneuver. Then key items are not coming in until Sunday evening Not at all convenient. Leaving and have to go to another Kroger.

I usually enjoy my shopping at this location. Not today. Produce was bare and whats there is not good. Positive notes are...the Deli counter person was lovely & I found nuts in the shell half price. The express checkout lady was CRABBY! 5 stars for del...0 stars for everything else = 3 stars.

Out of the Kroger stores Ive shopped at, this one is by far the worst. The employees here are treated terribly and the store is never in good shape when I come in.

Small kroger must not get a lot of traffic. Deli very small and empty. Check expirations. Nice staff though.

Double check your receipts especially the buy 5 get $5 deals .Also be ready to bag your own groceries or wait for a bagger .Other than that its a great store .

My experience is from 2015 but still relevant.Good: Conveniently located and never very crowded.Bad: Lack of friendliness from a few employees who run the self check-out laneWorst: As a veteran, I will never return to this store. I gave my military ID to the checkout gal who looked at if for a minute and said I need to see a real ID I said that is a valid ID and that I didnt have my drivers license on me. The response from your employee? Well if you dont have your license how did you get here? After asking her to show the ID to her manager, a group of 4 employees gathered around my ID to look at it. The manager concluded that my military ID is not an acceptable form of ID. Train your people. I had to leave totally embarrassed, drawing stares from other customers as your employees had basically publicly announced I was using a fake ID which is crap. Total crap.

First trip to Kroger on Adams. Enjoyed the variety of foods and the courteous service. Joann, the cashier was very nice.

Generally well stocked with a new large cheese bar and wine area. There are usually some cheeses out to taste and the people that work the area are friendly and helpful.

Kroger is usually a great place for good, quality groceries. This one has a bad layout and is rather confusing. Parking is also incredibly annoying.

Friendly workers. Wide selections. Higher than expected out-of-stock items. Open many hours.

A very nice, clean, organized, well-stocked grocery store. Has a Starbucks inside and is probably the nicest non local grocery store in the area. For higher prices but better produce go to Papa Joes or make the drive to Vince and Joes.

This Kroger is nice because it never seems to get too crowded. Its location puts this Kroger just out of convenience for all but those in its immediate area, which is probably why this location seems less busy than others in the area.

I went to this store looking for yahrzeit candles and they didnt have any. I spoke to the store manager, Sherri Alba and she said she remembered that another store carried them where she had worked previously at Fourteen Mile Road and Haggerty in Farmington Hills. She called to confirm that they had them and then offered to drive there to pick them up so I could have them the next morning. She went above and beyond and exceeded my expectations. Truly an example of superior customer service!

This was a Starbucks stop....a long wait for 2 beverages.....brand new girl.All good in the long run

Good choices of quality produce for instance if you want sour clemintines go to walmart if you want sweet ones come to Kroger 😉 I shop here regularly and havent found any issues alot of good deals as long as you pay attention to what you buy you can shop healthy and not spend alot of money.

My family has endured bad service experience(s) with this Kroger location @4888 N. Adams Rd. Many times my family has bought, unbeknownst to us, spoiled whipped cream. It happened four times throughout 2016 and twice in 2017. (With a whipped cream canister, its impossible to tell its spoiled unless you open it and use it.) In 2016, we noticed this location had a breakdown of their freezer & refrigeration units. Store employees confirmed their units were broken down and explained why all the ice cream was missing, and we noticed repairmen and trucks parked outside. When we tried to return the curtled whipped cream, each time the return personnel REFUSED to accept our return with receipt and denied any breakdown of refrigeration units caused the spoiled cream. Most recently, we foolishly tried to receive customer return service for a defective package of diapers. Per usual, the customer service rep Julie denied our return with receipt and these diapers were just purchased yesterday. The return was denied because we opened the package and used a few diapers. Yes, of course we used the diapers! Thats how we know we have a defective package! I am very puzzled why the constant horrible return service we have experienced at this location. We are no longer shopping at this Kroger location.
