Our neighborhood store. Clean, well stocked. No mask mandate, but almost everyone is masked. Best fresh produce, bakery & meat. Runs about $.50 more per item over Market Basket, but worth it on the produce & meat items. This store does have a pharmacy.

I was hired at this location but was training over at the other location. My mother passed away and as I was telling the HR person (Michelle Sinclair) she goes Ill Terminating you now and slammed the phone down on me. Now I could be wrong butIm pretty sure thats not how Human Resources is suppose to act. On top of everything its been over 20 days and I still have not received my last pay. After I post this Im going to call the labor board.

3 employees stood around for over 45 minutes while I struggled with a bumm carriage and I finally got ones to make eye contact and asked if they could get me a new cart ..she did but drops it 5 ft from me and didnt bother asking me if I needed assistance switching my groceries over to the new carriage. 1. I had a 2 year old with me and 2. I was struggling as Im disabled. I found this to be appalling as 2 of them seemed to be part of management team. Below are pics of the people that ignored me!! 45 minutes later still standing in same place.

Very clean store. Always a smile when you ask an employee where something is and willing to go the extra mile to ensure that you are taken care of and satisfied. The prices are a little higher than their competitors up the street, but overall the quality of the produce and meat more than make up for it.

This store is always clean and well stocked. Mandating masks tells me they care about their employees AND their customers.The pre-made food is always fresh with great taste! The employees are always really friendly and helpful.I would definitely recommend this store. It’s a pleasant shopping experience all around.

For the most part theyre good but these young kids need to pay attention when theyre bagging. I cant watch every little move they make when Im trying to input a phone number and pay. When I have to make a trip to come all the way back because they forgot to bag items or put them in the cart, theyre either not paying attention or theyre moving too fast and there was only one other customer behind me so its not like it was busy. But overall theyre good. But maybe the biggest problem is these cashiers are already ringing up new customers and sending food down before the previous customer even has all their bags and thats why stuff like this happens.

As Im working there and not shopping, and I pretty much only have dealings with employees and mangers, I find them friendly. The store is pretty well neat and organized.

Awesome, very helpful. I ordered 35 boxed lunches for my associates at work, and they were great. Appreciate the great service when I went to pick them up, as well.

Market basketay be cheaper for some things, but Hannaford meat is always better.if a little more expensive.

I no longer shop here or at any local Hannfords. 😞 I have came in 6 times recently and every single time was hounded about a mask. It gets embarrassing and old to say every time that I was born with a dysfunctional nasal cavity. An employee went so far as to scoff at me and say in the reason the virus is till around and Im putting people at risk. Otherwise this is my favorite store for great fresh veggies and meats.

Good buys on prescription drugs if you dont have health insurance

Quality is their top priority, and you never have to question that. some things are a little pricier....but they are well worth it!!

Great sushi and wine selection plus you get 10% off when you buy 6 or more bottles of wine basically buy 5 get one free depending on how you do it you could even get 2 free

Shop the outside of the store for quality. The aisles tend to be pricey, but the produce and meat are great. If you do need to walk the aisles watch the sales for non-perishables.

Clean & well organized store. Very fresh produce (often from local farms) and fresh meat. Deli has just reopened form COVID. You are asked to wear face coverings in the store.

I stopped in here for a quick minute and bought a few things. This store was huge! Not what I was used to!

Store is laid out like most every Hannaford, staff was helpful when asked direct questions, but not overly friendly. When I got to checkout, there was only ONE reg. Lane and ONE express lane open, the rest was self checkout.

I would give it a four, but the jerks that prepackage the deli meat, just love sticking the stickers on the bag in a manner that requires one to shred the bag to open.

Hannaford supermarkets, at least the ones in the Seacoast area, are hight quality and reasonably priced. However, the stores do have an odd layout that Ive seen on the left coast but nowhere else other than Hannaford. Running into the store to grab something, check out and dash out the door is impossible. One is forced to run a rat maze around the store, one would assume, to expose you to as much of the store as possible. For this reason I avoid Hannaford unless I cant get an item at another supermarket with more convenient layout. Its a shame they choose to waste my time vs. have my business.

The selection is lean and not as good as the other Rochester store. This one is often very full of people as well. The staff is friendly and helpful however.

I always check their clearance table because they usually have some rare funds for wicked good prices... I scored an eyebrow waxing kit that was originally 14.99 for 2.49 tonight! Cant beat THAT.

Great fruits and veggies and meats, much better quality than the grocery store just north of them. Prices are higher than the competition, so I usually shop both.

Always a second choice to Market Basket, but I must confess to making regular trips here for their fish cakes and clam cakes. Excellent. Better than anywhere else. The stores are always clean. The produce is excellent. The meat and fish are very good. But the prices are considerably higher than Market Basket.

Were here for vacation staying at Grandview campground. We love shopping at Hannaford because of the great produce as well as the meats for the barbecue.

The Rochester one is a lot better than the Hannaford in Northwood. I found everything that I needed .

This Hannaford is well--stocked generally, clean, convenient.

Usually have no problem. Associates are friendly and helpful when you find one to ask. Not enough associates on the floor to help. Too much walking back n forth. Even to find assistance. I still dont care for the grey Hamburg . Grey on inside red stained like on outside. Always around the 5th to feed those in need that cant afford the good stuff. Also prices rise around food stamp time there.

I often pick up seafood salad finger rolls for a quick lunch. Wont buy seafood salad anywhere other than there. It was not the same today! Very disappointed!

Fresh local produce.Fish, butcher,bakery and deli ; salad bar and hot foods bar .Good selection of groceries. Self check as well as low item lines, and they open up new registers when it starts to get busy .This gets you out quickly .

Its a grocery store. Its got what you need. Im always able to find someone to help me if I need it. Fresh produce and great meat selection. The store brand of most things are as good or better than name brand.

They have just revamped the checkout area so that now there are more checkout stations and it seems like it will be easier to have assistance quickly available when you need it.Also, I am looking for a specialty item from The Butcher Shop area and while they did not have the item this day, the helpful person in the butcher shop told me how they could special order the item for me.

A good store with confusing policies. Nothing available by the each - donuts, bagels etc but veggies are ok to pick up and examine. TP not even a guess as to when.

Recently the young staffs service has been lacking. Attention to detail to displaying professionalism is something they need to learn. Talking to a co-worker and forgetting to ring a product is unacceptable. This isnt a place to chat about your friends and your personal life while completely ignoring customers.Overall great store especially the cleanliness, helpfulness of the staff and while the price can be a little better for groceries, its always a pleasant visit to the this. The baked goods are always fresh and have a variety for cakes and other special occasions. Excellent wine selection with new items coming in all the time. The seafood is one reason why we come here for as much as we love Market Basket, their seafood for whatever reason is nowhere near fresh as Hannafords. Parking can be very tight here as its always busy...

Everyone was super helpful. Had to return some sushi - not because of the fish but because of the rice that was in the sushi. We received double our money back (their policy). Wow! This makes me want to not stop getting Sushi from them knowing that they dont want to give everyone double their money back, and that they will try to keep everything the way it should be. I also had a problem with the new app and getting the $5 off of my first purchase with it, but the man who I assumed was the manager went way out of his way to help me as much as he could. So friendly!

Love the Hannaford to Go in Rochester. As a parent who works 3rd shift its easy to pick my groceries up right after work. It works also with having a budget and shopping online. Always get my vegetables, meat and fruit here. Great quality and customer service.

Love the store and the products, corporate customer service is severely lacking. I have written two emails to Hannaford corporate to address the lack of emergency lighting, (meaning zero lights), when the power went out in the store and I didnt even get a courtesy email back to say they would look into it. This is a viable dangerous issue, the store goes completely black when the power goes out, not safe and should at least be worthy of a return email saying they would investigate it. Same for Rochester NH fire department, I contacted them and just received crickets back, no email, no response of any time. I thought our job as a society was to report dangerous situations to help and make sure they are investigated for the safety of people, I am seriously disappointed!

Its a good store it has everything you need its just set up a little weird but other than that it was pretty good.

Love there canned carrots!

The only complaint I have is that I wish that the self checkout Express had a limitation on how many items you can go in with. A couple had 2 carts Full!!! Plus 3 others were 3/4s full. I had 5 things.

They have a great selection and a decent variety of sale items every week.

Very nice grocery store. The employees are pleasant. The produce is beautiful. The price is right! The bathrooms are clean. Theres a red box there.

Only time ever to Hannafords Supermarket - the chain has no presence in SC. I wish they did! Their store was well lit, cheerful, clean, well organized and offered just about anything that a grocery store patron might want. It was a pleasure to shop there.

Nice ladies room, clean store, good selection. Plenty of local brews, Good selection of wine and beer in general. Easy on and off 16 on the way to N. Conway.

This is one of my favorite locations, hands down! A larger variety of stuff than most. I drive an extra 8miles sometimes and pass other stores to come here.

It is a great place to get groceries when y our heading up to a house that you have rented for the week. Their meat is fresh because it has a high turnover cause their is no supermarkets anywhere close as well as the pharmacy.
