Great place to get asian coffee and tea from Malaysia, tea from China, snacks from Taiwan and China, instant noodles from Singapore, China, Malaysia, Thailand, Indonesia. There are mooncakes during the Sept season. The bakery makes good bread and other pastry. There is also a large selection of rice grains, produce and other sauces as well.
Amazing!! I went there once to buy tteokbeokki and a couple other Korean goodies and the elderly man at the cashier gave me and my younger sister Korean cookies! Definitely will come here again. :)
Great experience for first time shopper. Went in looking for food for a family hot pot dinner. Staff helped with lots of awesome ideas!
I love this place! The staff is extremely friendly, and the groceries are very reasonably priced.
Small store but good selection. Very friendly couple behind the counter.
Very rude staff and request them to at least keep someone at the counter, whos able to communicate properly.
Very friendly staff. Small family owned and operated grocery store but they have lots of important Asian cuisine staples. They also sell some cute house wears. I enjoy coming here and supporting this business. They offer lots of ingredients that are difficult to find at other grocers.
Everyone here was super friendly so very nice! I was even given free tea after I cashed out. Was neat to walk around and check everything out. They have absolutely everything I need to Make my boyfriend traditional dishes that remind him of his home country. Glad to have this lil market here in the area
A nice variety of things you cant really find anywhere else. Also, be sure to try the Aunties kimbap and banchan! Its nice to have that homie touch to the flavors you cant really get from the brand versions.Plus the Auntie and Uncle who run the place are just really nice. Ill be moving in a few months but Ill miss this shop dearly and wish I could take it to England with me.
I come here all the time, its legit my fav Asian Market in Rochester
Very helpful, wide selection
I very much enjoy this store. Has all the best authentic Korean products for decent prices. Be sure to check expiration dates though. You can get produce here as well as some beauty products. The owners are incredibly nice, friendly and very helpful if you have any questions.
Nice but small
Love this store. It has it all. I especially love the bakery and little cafe in the front of the store. Great prices on Asian greens.
Owners are very friendly and helpful even for someone who only speaks english. They have lots of things that you cant find at large grocery stores.
Had everything that I was looking for and the people working were very nice and helped me find everything I needed (trying my hand at Korean stew!). Will go back soon when I have more time to browse; lots of cool stuff!
Good real Korean food! Kimchi is good here. Real taste of Korean food.
This market is amazing! They are so friendly and easy to talk to! I go here multiple times a month for my Asian food needs and they always help me find what Im looking for!! I can even sit and eat their delicious Kinbop while watching Korean TV. This place is a little slice of heaven.
Everyone here is very nice and I always find what I need.
Great snacks and ramen
Good variety. Has a few items other like markets dont. Always worth a look.
A great place to pick up some of your favorite things! From snacks and ramen, to frozen dumplings or everything you need to make dumplings, they have it. A quiet little store with very friendly service!
Everything is way overpriced, dont go here!
Great selection of foods. Very pleasant atmosphere. Lots of parking and easy to get to. Open on a Sunday afternoon!!
Good place to get kimchi and pick up some other random Asian grocery items Ive needed. The owner is very nice and helpful. They have a good variety of rice as well.
Always so sweet when I go in to buy groceries!
Great store. I little tough for a English only speaker but we make it work.
My favorite of the Asian markets in Rochester (out of the 4 Ive visited) bc/mainly Korean food which is what Im looking for. Also, the homemade kimchi is amazing and the staff (owners?) are incredibly nice. I also think this place is more affordable than Asia Food Market. Im a Korean adoptee and this store makes me feel a small but significant connection to that part of home.
When you walk in, you are welcomed in warmly by the owners here. They are so kind and were incredibly helpful in finding all the things I needed. They had everything from the popular spicy instant noodles that have been a craze on the web as of late, to freshly made kimchi, to delicious traditional korean side dishes. You can also have the option of eating here as well! The owner offered to make some kimbab (a traditional korean dish) that some say look like sushi, but it is not but it was very delicious all the same. The confusing thing, however, is the fact that there is a VERY similarly named market not 5 minutes from this location! It is something to note: I had to make sure that I was writing a review on the correct Asian Market multiple times and was a bit confused. All to say, great experience here. Delicious food. Wide selection. Kind people. Will definitely come again when in town and highly recommend to all those in the area.
It has all the ingredients I need, is close to where I work, and the fresh buns are a buck apiece! The bubble tea is good too, but the buns at the counter are where its at.
Stopped in to see what they sold, while being in the area for a Drs appt.
Looking for authentic asian food ingredients? this is the place!!! got everything you need! sells seafood as well.
I found things there that i loved when i was travelling
The owners here are so nice and willing to tell us how to make some of our favorite Korean dishes at home!We also just discovered they serve some Korean dishes on Thursday Friday Saturday! The dokboki (sp?) was great! Cant wait to try out some other dishes soon.
Nice people! Good selection. Found everything we were looking for to make bi bim bop! Yum!
Nice place to find different exiting new food.
Good selection of both Korean, Japanese and other Asian groceries, best thing is they are so CLeAN and Sanitations are very satisfactory that I can feel safe.
Very friendly and helpful staff. Great selection of Korean food staples.
The owners are very friendly/nice and they serve a couple of dishes on the weekend which are amazingly delicious. Grocery prices are comparable to other Asian markets around Rochester, but they do have a bigger variety of Korean groceries than most of the other Asian markets that tend to stock more Chinese type grocery.I love the kimbap from here. Its about $6 and you get a really big roll. Compare that to Wegmans $5 sushi roll that is barely half the size of the kimbap and you know youre getting a great deal.
Reeks inside of fish and durian fruit but they have some cool stuff.
This is more of a Korean market as they have more variety of Korean food. The owners are so nice and make Korean food on hand that you can order there and eat, including tteokbokki, kimbap, kimchi, and more. Sooo delicious!!
Asia Market has a variety of mainly Korean food products. Pretty good selection of ramen and frozen food products.
Its okay. Not many selections for other asian food
As the senior over 60 age who now is retired, I want to buy 2 boxes of instant Chinese noodles from Asia Market near Rochester View Apts.; 4365 West Henrietta, Rd. Henrietta, N.Y. 14467 by the RTS ACCESS buses; it doesnt accept my EBT so unfortunelty. I am not rich. Intstead, I use cash. Only, I know that Win-Fa Market; 4 Lake Avenue, Rochester,N.Y. 14608 accepts EBT as I honestly inform to you. Do you understand? Christa DAuria
Good prices
My regular place for Asian groceries. Make sure to get some marinated meat.
What Im looking for a particular product that cant be found in most stores this is usually the place to go.
They had some pretty good kimchi.
Great as always, love these owners!!!
You can find Asian food easily
Very helpful!
Lots of selections, but there is a minimum spending limit to purchase items.
You can buy most Chinese food you need in your daily life and some of the prices are cheaper than than other supermarket.
Check out the cafe in the front!
Very big
Great variety of tea
The is the place to go when you need a dumpling fix
Great place
Horrible and smelly store
Ive been going to the store for 15 years
Great place
Very rude service
Pretty good
Alright
It is a mart for Koreans in Rochester. The scale is just right.I like buying Korean groceries rather than vegetables.
There were many things that were kind and necessary for Koreans.
