I went to AU Precious Metals yesterday to sell some jewelry I never wear. I was curious to see how much I could get for it and wasnt going to sell it until I could get a good price. I have to say I was very impressed. Brad scanned each piece with an RK spectrometer (I think that was what it was called?) that showed exactly how much gold was in the piece. Then he sorted the pieces in piles according to the amount of pure gold, and weighed each pile and calculated the price. I was surprised to learn that one pair of earrings that I thought were white gold, were in fact sterling silver. Anyway, I was very happy with the process and happy with the price. Brad wrote me a check on the spot and it was more than I thought I would get. I would recommend them to anyone looking for top dollar for their precious metals.

I had a number of small heirlooms left from my grandparents home and the owner spent so much time explaining the value of each, how and where to look for markings and identification, and what I might get for them if I wanted to try selling them on Ebay or Etsy. Ok. I have met many jewelers over the years. Some good, some sketchy. But Brad the owner of AU Precious Metal is by far the most honest, educated and personable precious metals guy out there. I used Diversion to South. Turn right and another right quick Into the drive. The office and workspace is mid center and his door was open because I called ahead for appointment. When you call, he will answer and set up a time. Im very very glad to have found this place.

Brad is a shady business man and a scam artist. He insisted that I send him my gold coins so he could test them with his machine to make sure they were authentic 1 oz maple leaf coins. I was very skeptical about sending such a substantial amount of gold through the mail but I decided to trust brad which was one of the worst and most expensive mistakes of my life. “Take me to court” “ where’s the proof” from the last conversation I had with brad. If anyone is thinking about going to brad I would strongly warn against letting him anywhere near your valuables.

Has the best gold prices and silver that I seen and I called 6 different places and he literally without exaggeration paid me double what every one else was offering. We also tested everything in front of me without even questioning it the other places I went through wouldnt even test it in front of me and they would just look at it and say it was fake and throw it aside I went to him most of the ones that those other places set were fake he found out were real but there were some fake ones in there but I was OK with it Because I could see it right there in front of my own eyes and I really appreciated that I will definitely do business here again.

Interestingly, Brads associate is a Diamond expert and investor. Brad was able to call him and, discuss the diamond in one of my rings then, explained to me in detail, the valuation and showed me a very minute flaw in the Diamond and its color rating.
