I need to replace my garage door. They gave me a quote over the phone and promised to stop by next day. They did not come next day or the day after. When I contacted them, they told me that was not a promise. They could at least contact me and tell they cannot do that job. Not reliable business, horrible customer service.

I didnt want to post this but its hard to get this company to come and install a garage door. I was quoted then price went up because of covid now he wont even pick up my calls.

Back in May, 2020 we were advised that our garage door had come in that we ordered to replace an existing one. June 26th, door installed but with wrong window inserts. June 30th, correct inserts came in and was told someone would stop by to swap out; no one showed. July 3rd, he asked if he could stop by to swap out inserts; no one showed. August 12th, he asked again if he could stop by to swap out inserts; WRONG inserts installed again. I text him immediately was told it was not his fault; blamed it on slow production and shipping. August 19th, said he was sending a truck to swap out inserts; truck never came. August 25th, asked if he could send a truck to swap out inserts; truck never showed. August 26th, CORRECT inserts finally installed. Received a bill that overcharged is for extra set of door hardware that we did not order. I text him stating our overall dissatisfaction, and again he took no responsibility. He took off the overcharge, but no additional discount. Poor communication throughout and seemingly zero interest in keeping his customers happy. If production and shipping are this bad, maybe it’s time for a new affiliate???

Greg called me back promptly, was respectful on the phone, called me again when he was on the way and fixed my detached cable that I thought was a bigger deal than it was on my garage door opener. It was fixed in a minute or two and his price considering that he came out in a snowstorm in an emergency was reasonable. Found out that we graduated from high school same year from same town just different schools. He loves what he does and it shows. Very customer oriented and friendly. I strongly recommend Greg and Garage Doors Unlimited.

Have been a repeat customer for good reason. The first time I utilized their services they were $2000.00 lower than the next estimate out of five estimates for four replacement doors on a Barn. They even did other things for free the others wanted to charge extra for. Their workmanship and product quality are always excellent. I have called them back for repairs on a few occasions and they were always, prompt, courteous, professional and reasonably priced. I tell people often to call them as one of their estimates.

Greg was AWESOME!!!!!! Called them early morning because my garage would not open. Greg called within 15 min gave me an estimate time of arrival and came and fixed my garage on the spot. I was at work but the Hubby was home. I called him to say thank you for his quick and great service! He is very nice and knowledgeable and he wants my Hubbys motorcycle that he saw in the garage LOL

Six years and we are still very happy with our new garage door! We had just gotten our house re-sided and our new siding made our 50 year old garage door look worse than ever.We shopped around for awhile and then our siding contractor recommended Greg. Greg paid us a visit; his variety and pricing beat everything we had looked at. With his help we quickly found the perfect door for us ... a three panel cottage door with plenty of window area.Installation was flawless and we love it. Greg and his associate were great! Id been having an issue for a long time where my door kept getting stuck on the way down, and going back up. They fixed it in 5 minutes! Was as simple as swapping a couple hinges. If Id have known it was going to be that simple, I would have called a long time ago. Thanks!

I was referred to Garage doors unlimited about 6 mo ago, as my garage door needed to be replaced and there was no way to secure my garage. I called them and they sent Greg out to give me an estimate for a new door. He was there in roughly 4 hrs. his price was great so I asked him when he could install and he said they would be here the next morning. The install was timely and great. Last Thursday night I had an issue with my garage door in the middle of a snow storm and tried calling them in hopes I could leave a message. A woman picked up the phone and I told her I couldnt secure my garage and that they had just installed within 6 months. Less than 1 hour later Greg showed up and fixed the door at no charge in the matter of a half an hour. This was at 10 pm. These folks and their business are great. i will refer anyone who needs repairs or a new garage door. Thanks again

I had a misaligned door and a damaged door and he came out on the coldest day of the winter to do the estimate. The price was fair and the products were stellar! I was told by the big guys that if I had GDUs price then to go with it because they wouldnt match it. When the installation day came, they were courteous and polite and left my driveway and garage cleaner than I tried to leave it for them. I can not recommend this stronger.

Great work and nice team. Installed new door a few years ago and just fixed the opener. Both work great and cost was more than reasonable.

After describing the problem with our garage door opener, Greg took one look and immediately knew the cause of the problem. He had the part on his truck and was able to fix the problem without a repeat visit. Price of the repair was very reasonable and fair. I heard about Garage Doors Unlimited from a family member who highly recommended them. I quoted out a large big box store and another very well reviewed & well known company in the area prior to calling GDU. GDU came in a few hundred dollars less than the the lowest quote from the other two. Greg came out just a few days later and replaced our 16x9 door. It only took him a couple of hours. He was very polite and very efficient. He was sure not to leave any mess behind and hauled our old door away at no extra cost. I highly recommend them to anyone needing a garage door or garage door repair!

I called garage unlimited looking for a hinge for my grandmothers garage door. Greg asked me to send a picture and within minutes he called back and told me he had one, no charge just swing over and pick it up!!

The worst experience Ever!!! Greg is terrible to deal with!! Bad, bad temper and attitude. Will never use or recommend him. Came 3 times and the door looks like crap. Terrible customer service!! Be aware

Very frustrating, dont waste your time. Would give zero stars, but Google wont let me, so I reluctantly give them one star. Asked them to come out for an estimate on a Friday, told hed come on a Saturday. He called Saturday, swamped; I told him not to worry about it, but to let me know when he could come out. I called again 2 weeks later, after no follow up (shame on me), and told he could come Thurs or Fri (following is his words, copied from email: I can run out on Thurs am or Fri am). This is his reply, copied from his email: Thurs am I have appointment in honeyoye lake am Thursday. Ill meet am before. 9ish is ok? Whaaaat? When I emailed back to ask what happened to Friday, this is the verbatim (copied from email) response: I just read the re Fri. Thurs am us only day on my end. Is it possible for you to leave entry door unlocked so I can look? Need to verify measure. 1 min is all. WHAAAAAAAT? So, if you choose to use them, dont say you werent warned... Id recommend looking elsewhere.
