A-MA-ZING experience! Custom job on a brand new piano bench with terrible padding. They tricked it out with high quality padding and a new cover. What they did is incredible! They probably doubled its value. Reasonable price, excellent turnaround time and some of the highest quality work I’ve seen in a long time. They are very personable, too - but their real talent is understanding what you want and creating the best option for you. Trust their recommendations - they really know what they’re doing. Seriously - I’m looking around my house right now trying to figure out what else I can bring them to work on!

I’ve had several great experiences with Bob who owns Snyder’s Upholstery.First off, I own a jewelry store and had display case boards made with a velvet like fabric to hold the jewelry. We had over 30 of them made. They came out beautiful and perfect. Was very happy.Secondly, I had Bob custom fit an “elephant” pool cover for our pool. He had to trim off existing fabric and re-sew a hem and add hooks into the adjustment that was made. Our pool had a custom design or layout that wasn’t normal in any way. This came out better than I expected considering I know that Bob isn’t a pool cover engineer. This was a 2.0’ x 40’ cover! It came out exactly the way I needed it and looks like it was all the original pool cover design.I’ve seen some of the work done while inside their workplace. Everything from restaurant seats to car seats. Everything I saw appeared to be top notch. Since I run one of the larger automobile dealerships in the area, I have my choice of where to send our interior work. We have used these guys in the past and they have always done exceptional work. BUT recently I sent one of my personal vehicles in to have the seats repaired and i wanna say what a great job they did! Look at the before and after pics and you will see the quality of their work! It took a little longer than expected but it was only because they were trying to make sure the did things the right way, the first time! I would personally recommend Snyders for ANY interior work you have for your auto or boat!

Brought my 1999 boat to Synder’s to look at rear seat in the boat it was kinda falling apart. Big Bob checked it out and found the entire seat had basically disintegrated I left what was left of the the seat with bob The seat goes acrossed the entire back of the boat and is all leather. When Bob called and said it was ready I was first surprised how quickly it was done and then I asked what I owed was my second surprised (half of what I was expecting). The original seat had a 3 ft long hinge so to lift up and use storage underneath. I brought boat back to pick up seat and they installed a seat that looked exactly like the original!!!! They fabricated it!! The leather even matched perfectly with the rest of the red, white and blue leather through out the rest of the boat I don’t use the word perfection very often... but in this case... it’s Accurate! It’s 22 years old and they matched the leather perfectly!! Amazing. Well done Snyder Upholstery!!!

Bob and his team did an excellent job creating a foam pad for the floor of my jump aircraft. He took the time to go through my options and answer questions, and was just generally very helpful. I cant say how amazed I was when I saw the finished product .I was speechless, my jaw dropped. Bob was simply one of the best individuals I ever dealt with. He promised a week on seat made from scratch and he was done early.When I picked up the seat we tried it in the boat and fit like it was the original. Sofa upholstery needed repair. Price seemed a little high, but we agreed to it. Good craftsmanship costs money. But - within just a couple of months, one seam that didnt appear to have been knotted right in the first place started to come apart. Owner is insisting on charging again to come out to fix it. Hell tell you we agreed that there was no guarantee on his work, and thats true - but that assumes it was done competently in the first place, which this didnt appear to be, considering how quickly it came undone. I always want to support local artisans, and I get that they cant guarantee the work over the long term - but to refuse to even consider that it wasnt done right in the first place is problematic, to say the least. Ill look elsewhere next time.

From car seats to dining chairs, they do it all! Cant believe how fast my chairs got done. Now I cant wait to have Thanksgiving at my house. Everything was custom for me, and it took hardly any time. Great job, I will be back! :)

Bob, Tina, and the Snyder staff provided amazing customer service and excellent results. After contacting them early morning about repairing our vinyl medical chairs, I was invited down to their shop. Bob took me through their massive warehouse where we were able to find near perfectly colored vinyl matches for the three different color chairs that needed repairs. On top of this, all of these vinyls were antimicrobial and the Snyder team managed to repair the vinyl on 3 of our damaged chairs in less than 4 hours.All in all, Snyder saved us hundreds of dollars in replacement costs from chair manufactures, and were able to make all three of our chairs look new again in less than four hours. We are very pleased with their custom service, and their results.

Took a chance with my boat seats and called Snyder Seat Covers & Upholstery to redo them. Big Bob came up with the idea to custom monogram Fired Up -- my boats name-- to the back of the seats. They came out beautifully! Ive never been happier. We hit a home run with them!

I needed to have the headliner on my 2005 Buick LeSabre replaced. I called numerous shops in the Rochester area and received ridiculous cost estimates. Snyder offered the best deal and after seeing their work, I decided to go with them. They did an outstanding job and it looks like the original. The owner personally checks the job. He wasnt satisfied with the original job and had it redone. The owner definitely takes pride in the quality of workmanship.Price and quality sum up my experience. I decided against trying to put a seat cover on a Honda ATC seat that I bought online- staplers I tried didn’t do the job. After searching online, I found Snyder Upholstery. I called to see how much to attach my seat cover to the pan-$45 with stainless steel staples. I drove 35 miles to drop the seat off, no appointment. When I got there around 11:45am,it was no problem. She said it’ll be done by 4. Great, had some errands to run. I was done by around 2:30, stopped by to see if it was done. It was!!! When I went down to basement to pick it up, I was amazed at how big it was down there... the seat looked amazing! It was done to perfection! I am extremely pleased with the work that Bob and his crew did! I highly recommend Snyders Upholstery for any work you need done. Brought in a boat cushion. They measured it up gave it back to us. Called us when material was in. Brought it back and 4 days later it was done. Looks brand new. We will be bringing the next one in to be done soon. They were incredibly accommodating to us.

I cant say enough great things about Snyder Upholstery! I called on them to make a custom bench seat for my business and they did a great job at a fair price. Only a week after that my wifes car had some accidental damage to her leather seats, Snyders came through for me and fixed them too. They do amazing work & I will gladly use them again and again.

I got my motorcycle seat reupholstered here. New foam was installed and new leather was put on. I also got a saddle bag fixed up. A new zipper was installed and some tears were stitched up. Everything came out great and the service was very fast.

I have had this chair collecting dust, sitting in the basement forever, on a whim I looked into getting it redone. I found couple of places, one was 6 to 8 weeks and a little too pricey for me. I went to Snyders at first I thought was ridiculous. I received an education in material, foam and labor. They broke it down for me, my material I chose was just as much as the labor. I liked how she took time to help and explain. Bob had me try the different foam. I found something I liked in their inventory. I am amazed at how comfortable and how nice it looks and it was done in 2 days time. Do not let the store front fool you, It is bigger than it looks when i was taken down to see my chair it is big downstairs where the work is done. I highly recommend Snyder Upholstery.

Had 6 dining room chairs re-done. New covering, foam and support. Owner came up to advise me on recommended approach. He said they will be perfect when done. He was right! Craftmanship was outstanding along with his customer service. Would highly recommend this place. Don’t be fooled by the storefront. They are a big shop that knows what they are doing.

We needed our kitchen chairs upholstered and had no idea where to go. Happened to see this place on the way to work and are we glad we decided to stop in. I engage Snyder approximately 4 weeks ago to complete a canvas for my boat. They said they would do it and came up with a charge that was average compared to their competition. The boat was in the water and they said they could accomplish it in the water. After giving him a deposit a few weeks back they said they were going to start with it this past Monday and well be done with it by Friday. today is Friday the owner called me to say that he just couldnt do a canvas on it because it was windy this week which that is only today as he didnt really start working on it until today and told me that hes not going to do it and just give the deposit back. Very disappointing as I let those other bids go who said they could do it in a time frame very similar. He really didnt even want to look at additional options but just did not want to do the job after he had committed to it and had taken the money for it. I give him only one star because he did quickly give the deposit back but has left me hanging were were now Midsummer and I wont have a canvas while missing a canvas. extremely disappointed by not having it done, but more disappointed by the way the owner brashly handled the situation and basically abandon the project after he committed to it. I guess when you have a lot of work in the summer time its easy to dump customers but at the end of the day you can only go on a persons word and obviously his word is a very low value. I would seriously consider anybody using him if your trust in his word, proceed with caution

We spent the better part of 3 years looking for cushions for our wooden kitchen island stools and never found any we really liked. An associate of ours recommended Snyders to have custom cushions made so we took one of our stools over to see what they could do. Bob was very generous with his time and showed us many options for both the foam and fabric. We decided on the quality foam and leather. The stools (8) all turned out incredibly well and the look of them added so much to the feel of the room, let alone how comfortable they are to sit on! I wish we had found these guys sooner!

I went to them to have my subwoofers, 2 amps, and 4 door speakers installed. they broke 1 of the plastic covers in my door handle that covers the screw and also one of my doors doesnt open from the inside now. this is not the first time i have been there either. last time i was there they broke the plastic piece where they hid my wires along the door and didint fix it. needless to say im disappointed with my experiences there and would not recommend them.

Had the seats in my car reupholstered and new rugs installed. The back seat was never reattached so it was just sitting there which was very dangerous. They broke the side piece of my seat, broke my e-brake handle and pried my center counsel up then jammed it back down as best as they could. Obviously had no clue how to remove pieces or just didnt care. When I mentioned it they told me that stuff was already broken like I wouldnt know what my car was like before. Stray strings sticking out on seams everywhere. Sewed the openings in the back seat where the car seat clips go too small so cant fit the clips through. Would never go to them again I definitely made a mistake. I have works with Carls before and had a great experience. Only reason I tried these guys because Carls had a waiting list guess I see why. Told me I was getting a good deal but asking around after and I was definitely taken for a ride especially with the cheap material they used. Beware of these guys. The name is real dont need a Facebook page to prove I am a real person. What records did you go through? You wrote a receipt on a piece of ripped notebook paper. It dont seem like you would have a record of what I had done. I paid in cash so Im sure you didnt even claim my sale. Snyders had a great reputation and customers base. Had I known some one had bought them and the skilled people didnt follow over I would have never came to you.

I went to my friends here at Snyder looking for a new perogola cover. I wanted a water proof cover where I could remain outdoors during mild showers. The cover that came with perogola was a sieve and useless to me. It was one season old. I brought my old one in for measurements and picked my fabric. The choices were numerous and I found the one I loved. There are many wonderful points regarding the finished product which I was able to pick up in a few short weeks!1. Its gorgeous, well sewed with stripes matching at hem ends and its gorgeous!2. Ties were triple sewed in and of a far sturdier material than the ribbon ties on the original. (Which had ripped out on one side after only a month!)3. I needed 3 strips as opposed to two because my fabric choice was only 48in wide. It is sewed so well it is to the untrained eye seamless.4. Today was the test. It has been raining non stop here in Hamlin, NY. No seepage at seams. Furniture is relatively dry though its important to note any dampness is NOT due to a flaw in cover. Perogolas are opened at sides. Any water on deck furniture is due to wind and volume of rain pooling off sides.5. My only regret is I cannot figure out how to post a picture! Though a picture and my words hardly due justice to superior workmanship.If I could give them 10 stars I would. These people know their stuff. Thank you Bob and Tina for making my vision a reality!
