The blueberry cake is my absolute favorite! And with a cup of coffee, theres no better duo. But the crown jewel of this place is the staff. Theyre always so kind, and so spirited. I cant wait until my next visit!

Staff was very kind. Ordered a to-go order and it was ready as soon as I got there. Delicious hot coffee, BEYOND AMAZING APPLE FRITTERS & a nicely made breakfast sandwich was exactly what I was craving this morning... I went in with my kids for the first time a couple of weeks ago and will not go back. When I told the woman behind the counter that it was our first time she said Oh. Can I help who is next? Instead of helping me or greeting me. The customer behind me actually started trying to help me.Eventually we were served by another employee. The donuts were okay, but nothing special. Definitely not worth the terrible customer service.

Ok so usually i go to this place i am greeted at the door and acknowledged to see what i want when i come in by the younger staff, but on this particular day i was younger and older staff the older staff literally was asking everyone but my girlfriend and i what we want ( mind you we were the only people of color in the bakery at the time) now once again this is the first time i ever came there and the older staff( a lady) was there we asked about a smoothie she just walked off so we asked another staff member she said oh i believe shes checking to see if we have the flavor i was ok with that but why the first lady we asked couldnt say that? the vibe was weird and i no longer wanted to spend my money with them on that day. i just hope that lady(the older staff) have a better attitude and treat people of color equal next time because at the end of the day all money spends the same way.

Nothing better than ridge donuts in Rochester. Hand cut glaze is the way to go, but the apple fritter is probably what they are best known for. You may have to wait outside in line but the line moves very quickly. Dont miss out on this.

Was a 5*, edited to 3* when every time I come theres no regular bagels for breakfast sandwich and the 50 cent extra after 2 fritters is ridiculous. Still taste good but it doesnt change the sour taste of that policy

Please, for all that is good and holy, visit this donut shop/cafe.My friends and I are from out of town and we wondered over to Ridge Donut because we heard of the hype. I also checked the reviews knowing that hype doesnt always mean its great but WOW, was I mistaken.This is very much a mom and pop shop. They have little seating and seats at the bar. You can order donuts from the counter or have table service. Each and every one of these employees were caring, sweet, and patient.Now to the donuts: I havent had a perfectly crafted donut in such a long time and these cured me. The famous apple fritter was unbelievably fresh. I could smell the yeast. The glaze wasnt overwhelmingly sweet. The apples were real. The simple glazed had the perfect bite - not too chewy, not too greasy. Simply PERFECT. I wish I lived in the area. Id be a regular.

Most donuts are very good and consistent, with exception of the apple fritters. Sometimes they are great......loaded with apple, sometimes there is very little apple and they are just a lump of dough. Wish they were more consistent since this the signature donut.

Great filling donuts that will give you all you need

These are the BEST donuts I’ve had from anywhere in the country. They’re always fresh and they’re so good! Walking in feels like taking a step back in time to an old school donut shop. I always end up getting more than I can eat but they’re still great the next day!

This was my first time there. The staff was amazing and helpful as they had a wide assortment of donuts, muffins and other baked goods made fresh in store. They also have a little breakfast/lunch dining area. Highly recommend and the donuts were amazing!

Still the best damn donuts in Rochester. Yes, if you go during peak weekend hours there will be a line out the door. Yes it will be worth standing in line for 10 minutes to get your donuts. (The folks behind the counter are hella efficient, even if youre the 10th person in line youre only going to stand there for a few minutes. Worth. It.) Only downside is that this place will spoil you for other donut places, for real. Consider that carefully before embarking on your first foray to Ridge Donuts... You will never be satisfied with run-of-the-mill donuts again.

Excellent donuts, but these are not your standard donuts. Most places serve you donuts that would make an excellent accompaniment to food or coffee, but these are a different story. Theyre extremely sweet, and best enjoyed only individually or at least only a few at a time, and with a drink to wash them down. Theyre very much more like having cake in donut form. Honestly, not what I prefer in a donut, but my friends love this place, so it may be your speed if you prefer the sweetest donuts you can find.

You walk in and there are rows of donuts, many selections I cant begin to say which one is my favorite. They also have Italian cookies, danish and more. We arrived at 10:30am on a Friday. The place was very small. There were many different types of donuts and pastries to choose from. The line was forming fast behind us. We felt rushed selecting our choices. The staff were warm and friendly. We bought a half dozen donuts. I bought a special choice donut The Cannoli. It was soooo good. I tried half of everything I ordered. Everyone of them were amazing. My friend bought a tuna sandwich. He said, there was not a lot of filling but the sandwich was really good.

Back when Kmart was located in the East Ridge Plaza and I was a kid.... this was my favorite donut spot. 30+ years later this is still my favorite! Every week I order some fry cakes and a huge donut and will continue to. The staff is awesome. I absolutely love you guys. Its almost like you raised me haha. My supervisor bought two boxes of Ridge donuts for a going away party for a coworker. I was excited because I had never tried them before. I reached for a cream filled chocolate donut and immediately saw there was a long black hair in it. I pulled it out and discovered it was actually baked INTO the dough. So gross. I threw it out and did not attempt to eat any other donut.When I contacted Ridge about this incident, all they did was apologize and say that their baker doesnt have long black hair. Didnt even offer any sort of recompensation. I think they need a lesson in customer service. You sold an inedible product and you provide no solution to make it right. Ill definitely never go here and will not recommend it to anyone.

I liked their fry cakes (e.g. red velvet, sour cream glazed) better than the regular donuts. The donuts were incredibly fresh (some were still warm!) and you can tell this place is a local favorite. My only complaint is that they have so many things on their countertops that I could not see all the donut options. A taller person probably would have had better luck.

Visited this place on Sunday at 1:45pm ish. This place closes at 3pm on Sundays, so when I got here, half of the variety was already sold. I suggest to go early if you want to taste their unique donut flavors. This place also has breakfast and lunch menu (coffee, sandwich, etc) and tables inside. I only had donuts but they were all great! Overall, great place to visit and grab donuts and meal :)

This is a gem. A must visit in Irondequoit! Its teeny weeny mom and pop style, with fresh homemade donuts. Sometimes there is a line and it is worth the wait. Please tip! The workers work really hard in close quarters! Its the best when you get an apple fritter thats still warm... the donuts are a generous size, and second to none! Once you taste ridge donut, you wont be able to go back to anything else.
