Best donuts in Rochester. Opened in 1950’s it was closed temporarily and reopened several years ago. Can dine in. Also can order Salvatores pizza here. Has retained style and logo of original donut shop. Love donuts- gotta try Donuts Delite!

Really good breakfast omelette. Theyre much more than just donuts. All kinds of breakfast food and other menus as well. Been there a couple of times. Great both visits. Staff is well trained and attentive. Recommend.

What the heck??? First off I ordered on October 14, 2021 at 7:00 pm. Wrong pizza we called, they brought us the right pizza super cold and not even cut we recooked it. What’s the point. Save your money.

Great experience. Donuts are just like they were back when I was a kid. Theyre big and delicious cheaper than Wegmans. With Wegmans you get a tiny donut sometimes half coated with sugar on one side and the not the other side. Today not when you come to Donuts Delite everything is coated and tastes really good. The apple fritters, I got eight of them, two boxes for apple fritters because theyre so huge. Why not pay less money for more doughnuts. Why arent you buying these?

One of the best places in Greater Rochester to get a donut. In addition to donuts, they also have good other great options. I had their Donuts Delite Omelet. It didnt disappoint.

This is like a donut/pizza shop combo. Kinda of a weird place but donuts are better than average and prices are decent. Doesn’t compare with ridge donuts which are bigger and better and have the same prices but this place has better hours and is worlds above things like Wegmans and Dunkin’ Donuts. Totally worth checking out if in the area.

Yuck!Today my family and I stopped in for Donuts. Each tray had flies. Noha the manager said Yeh we have flies because they come in when people open the door. I cant do nothing bout the flies. The cashier with red hair waved the flies off the donuts. Then offered donuts from a box she reached into a box with the same gloves she handled money with. I politely declined. I ordered a breakfast pizza for Fathers Day the day before based on numerous recommendations. The breakfast pizza (meat with extra cheese) was very good, and reasonably priced. The only downside was my daughter got there at 9:50 to pick up the 10:00 order, and had to wait in line for 40 minutes. Would have been nice for them to warn me when I ordered - the day before - Im sure this wasnt the first time this has happened on Fathers day.

As usual...great donuts! But today I bought breakfast rolls. Eggs, cheese, meats with hollandaise sauce...omg! Yummy...plus a great wait staff!!

The donuts fillings are not the same. Theyre not what donuts delight was all about. the donuts were always filled with cream or jelly or whatever. Not anymore Ive discussed it with them before but to no avail I dont know if its the same owners or not. But not happy with them especially at the price they ask for them.

Although I came at a busy time, I was greeted by a friendly staff member and my order was filled quickly. I had a World Famous Cannoli Donut and a cup of coffee. I sat outside on their patio and enjoyed my treat!

I stop by because of the ad on TV about a free donut due to the donut day. Well the waitress told me that they run out of it and that they changed the offer for a buy one dozen and get one free. Well I still bought the free stuff but I have to buy it because it was only free with the ice cream. Well at least the pizza slice this time was much warmer. This is my third time I stopped by in a 6 years period that we being living few blocks from there.

If you havent been here, you need to visit. If you are looking for a normal donut, go to any chain: Tim Hortons, Dunkin Donuts, etc... but this place has great donuts. The cannoli donut is one of my faves. Even the Boston creme or other normal donuts are better. They cost slightly more, but are fresher and better. There is a Salvatores inside as well. They have meals where you get a huge slice of pizza, donut and drink for around $10. Or if you just want pizza, you can do that too, but I cant go there and not get a donut! Its a local gem...a must see. They have inside seating as well.

This was a great experience! The staff was friendly and helpful. Theres a huge range of donuts, some more fancy (and more expensive) and others more simple; some more kid-focused (think candy-covered and/or heavily frosted) and others not; all delicious! The breakfast pizza is super yummy too!

Great donuts! All different kinds.. PLUS we love getting our Buffalo Bills themed donut on the weekend also!. The store is small so there is always a line but its not too long and the staff gives you complimentary hot chocolate as you wait. 5 stars!

The donuts here are meh. Nothing really special about them. The Bavarian cream was not very flavorful. Same with the Oreo cream. The frycake was very ordinary as well. This place does not even compare to the other big donut place in the area. I was quite disappointed in this my first trip to donuts delight.

The donuts are great and the staff is patient and friendly. The last time I was here I had to wait outside before entering. It was cold out, but one of their staff came out offering hot chocolate to everyone waiting in line. Thats a nice touch. Another nice touch is how they had several Buffalo Bills donut options the morning after they advanced in the playoffs.

I think 95% of the time I have ordered from salvatores doughnuts delight the order is wrong I have ordered two topping pizzas more than once and the toppings on were wrong not even one of the toppings were correct out of two how does that happen. I also try to support them they are down the street but I also ordered a steak and cheese plain with lettuce I got a sub with peppers onions mushrooms no lettuce and no cheese I sent it back asked for a steak and cheese plain with lettuce and Mayo and had to leave my house again I got home and had a steak with peppers onions mushrooms no lettuce and no cheese or Mayo twice in one hour the most incompetent people I have ever seen in a popular establishment those are just a couple of accessions there are much more my wife has band them will never try again so so so bad maybe employ kids over 13

Honestly, Ive been here once and I was not amazed. I heard good things so I got a dozen to try with my family. A mix of normal and a mix of specialty. The donuts just tasted like frosted pizza dough. They were kind of bland and theres always a massive line in the morning for their donuts. I personally dont think its worth it.

UPDATE 1/26/19 - Im taking a couple stars away. I got a garbage plate today from this location, $14 which is fine for the typical mountain of food you normally get in a plate. But this plate had so little Mac salad and home fries its crazy. They charged me $14, then saved $3 more by not giving any sides! If youre gonna give me child portions, charge me a child price. Photos attached as proof. I wont be doing a plate from this location again.------- original review -------This is an excellent place to grab a cup of coffee and donuts or get a full breakfast with eggs, toast, etc. I wasnt born and raised in Rochester so I have never eaten here before it was owned by Salvatores. The food is like any other kind of diner food plus they have the full Salvatores menu so you can get things in the evening like BBQ or wings. Pro Tip - They deliver breakfast. You can call and have some eggs and coffee and donuts delivered right to your house assuming youre in the delivery area.FYI - Avoid the Salvatores on east ave. Terrible management.
