Great place friendly helpful staff

The customer service I received today was beyond exceptional!!! Manager Allison, went beyond above and beyond to help us with an issue we had. We lost our receipt on a chair that became damaged and we wanted to exchange it. Allison made phone call after phone until she finally got results for us and we were able to exchange our chair for a new one. Thank you very much for the customer service we recieved!!! Theres no question in my mind that we will always continue to shop at Big Lots. And we love the new chair, its incredible!!!

Purchased a mattress and box spring set. Popular and reliable brand and reasonably priced. Spent twice as much st another retailer.

Good store, they seem to have a good stock level here because I bought a couch that my previous Big Lots on Titus Avenue didnt have available, but this store did. Only reason I am giving 4-star instead of 5 is because the check-out girl (who also sold me the couch) forgot to ask me for my discount Big Lots club number that allows me to get redeeming points resulting in in future savings. So the next time I go shopping at Big Lots can use the points to save money. Because this was a very large sum of money being spent, the store associate needs to remember to ask the customer for this valuable information. It is an important question for a Big Lots employee to ask because Big Lots is all about membership, gaining points and I get many emails asking me to shop here. But this girl totally forgot to ask me for my bonus card! So on my drive home I finally remembered & needed to turn around to go all the way back to the store to ensure i got my credits. I wont mention the girls name, because she did finally to resolve the issue and had a cool head adding to her credit. But it was a huge hassle for her fixing the mistake it was so obvious.

Almost always find something good even if I wasnt looking for it. Free Christmas lights today plus 20% off total order. Could have faster checkouts though.

I know its not Walmart. Too me its the next best thing. I love the layout of the store. Its different from before. Went and bought some furniture for the first time. No offense shop around. I am sure that youll agree that Big Lots has great quality furniture after you check other stores. Plus they always have freebies with membership and discounts. Hope this helps someone!

Used to be my go to store! This location like many in this area has gone downhill. Lack of variety and inventory. Staff has always been pleasent.

Its different inside. I like it. More open. Had everything i needed today-juice, drinks.Shelves were stocked. Looks fantastic - clean.

Is it too much to think that retail should accommodate customers smooth and expedient exchange of money for stuff? The new store layout is convenient. After doing all my shopping and finding 10 people in checkout, the furniture is comfortably adjacent to the register, a great place to sit and wait and rethink potential purchases. I am disabled and unable to stand for extended periods of time. After waiting over 15 minutes for a break in the line I ended up leaving, having reconsidered all my purchases. Big Lots, wasting time and saving money.

I understand that theyre busy, but if you want to offer curbside pickup please staff that correctly. Being told to wait until its not busy anymore is not a way to offer that service if you get something online. Just dont offer it.

Always find good deals and I love the new layout of the store now. Just hope prices dont start rising on products with the changes being made. Furniture pricing is a main reason for going there especially having young kids

I decided to pay the store a visit and Im glad I did. They have a lot of items at discounted prices that are normally high other places and checkout was fast.

Great place to shop. Large variety of things you may and may not need. Good quality items, reasonably priced. Personable staff. Clean and roomy.This is a very difficult place to shop. You go into browse or pick up 1 thing and you come out with a trunk load of stuff.

Has the basics

Big Lots, is a store full of many things from necessities to gift ideas to home furnishings, home needs, food and so much more. I feel they have manitained well, keeping the lowest prices, on their merchandise, to the best of their ability. Im very happy with my shopping experiences there, and with the purchases that I have made. When I have had to do a return, It has not ever been a troublesome time. With receipt and with original packaging, I do always have with me, with my return. I also get my return back sooner then later, and the return process is a smooth time. Store is kept clean and is good on keeping items stocked and available. Staff is friendly and happy to be of help to their customer and their needs.

Decent prices and a clean, organized store. However, I registered for a Big Lots account enticed by the $5 discount. Got the discount email, but it didnt link to the barcode. The cashier apologized, but when I asked if they could re-register me in-store, all she offered was to call some 800 mumber. Furthermore, days before another late shift cashier was less than courteous, hence the two star rating.

Excellent customer service. I returned a piece of furniture I purchased as it had a factory defect and they replaced it with a more expensive piece as they no longer had any of the one I originally purchased. Very friendly and accommodating. Kudos to Theresa the furniture manager.

Was fine but the store was a bit messy and there was a lot of merchandise empty shelves ie: no fans, air conditioners, no pools, no hoses most warm weather items were non exsistant

Hadnt been here for at least 8 months. After looking around for a while, I found that their prices have gone up substantially since the last time I was there. Prices were so high one much of the items that I can safely say that you can find better deals elsewhere - even Walmart and other larger stores. I also noticed that the quality of many of the products in the store werent that great. Its too bad - this place used to have some some excellent deals - but not ant more. I am hard pressed to find any reason to ever return here again.

There was a lot of empty shelves not a good selection for a Big Lots

Just bought a futon from Big Lots greece and while most employees were great it only takes one to turn it into just a terrible experience to the point that Im actually writing a review after I complained to a manager. We asked for help in furniture when we walked in and had to have this employee paged again after awhile. Then the employee came out with a condescending attitude and proceeded to be exceptionally rude and sarcastic. Asked for a futon they asked rudely again about the color then rushed back and came up with only the mattress when questioned about the rest they said something along the lines of you didnt ask for the frame how was i supposed to know you didnt have one already and then went in the back to get it. WOW. If I didnt drag my grandpa there to help bring it home I would of walked out.
