Amber and Ashley are so amazing to work with! I went there to purchase contacts with a new insurance and at first it seemed like the insurance wasnt going to work. They put in some solid effort and not only were able to make the insurance work for my contacts, but I got them at an AMAZING discount. They are very personable and have great energy. I dont buy my contacts/glasses anywhere else but the Target Optical in the North Target Store. Thanks again ladies for the great experience! :)

My visit was on 10/11 at 2:00 p.m.I arrived a few minutes before my appointment and Kristy greeted me with a smile and told me that Amber was going to be assisting me. Amber asked me to go through some paper work to that everything was up to date. After I was done with that she told me I can start browsing the eyewear while I waited for Dr. Johnson. When I was trying on some styles both Kristy and Amber stayed attentive and complimented me on styles that they thought looked good on me. I eventually went in for the exam and when inwas done Dr. Johnson send me to finish working with Amber. Amber was very helpful and was very patient with me as I had a lot of questions and she did an awesome job answering everyone of them. As I was getting ready to finalize everything Kristy followed up with me asking which style I went with and I thought that was very sweet of her as she really showed care. It was an overall very positive experience. Both Kristy and Amber went above and beyond to provide me a pleasant experience. I felt like I was hanging out with friends and it didn’t not feel like an appointment. Kudos to Kristy and Amber

Absolutely amazing service! Ashley was very helpful in answering all my questions and providing a great glasses option that suited my needs specifically. Dr. Johnson was quick, helpful, and accurate in updating my prescription. When it came for me to picking up my glasses, I was not able to pickup in store, and they shipped it to my address and it arrived next day via UPS next day air! Overall, absolutely exceptional experience and service, would definitely come again.

Ms. Elseth was very helpful during my visit as I picked out my frames and chose the additions that were best for me. Dr Johnson very insightful and very enjoyable to work with, and while I was there. I watched Ms. Larkoski, who wasn’t even working that day, volunteer to help another customer with a small issue they needed help with. Very friendly and super helpful employees!

Three of our family members have gone to this store and they are great! I found Dr. Johnson to be great! She is awesome! She confirmed what I had always known about my previous pair of glasses from America’s Best. The bifocal in them was completely off. No fault on the doctor at America’s Best, but the lab made them incorrectly. I can’t wait to get my new glasses!!

I was very indecisive about frames and staff was great helping me choose and giving honest feedback.

Amber and the team are amazing and will definitely get my business. Ordered 2 pairs after not doing so for so many years. Amber helped me, she was proficient and was awesome to work with. She searched up my insurance right away and made me feel confident in my choosing and purchase. Both glasses took less than 10 days to arrive. Never had such prompt service and the glasses barely needed any adjustment when they came in

They will tell you over the phone that they will take your insurance, but dont believe them. When you arrive they suddenly dont take it and want you to pay full price out of pocket instead. When you show them their name and location on the website of the insurance company (see below) they suddenly dont want to take, they get rude about it. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere they wont lie to you.

The doctor was disorganized and did not give me a full glasses prescription, likely because they didnt want me to buy glasses online and wanted me to buy the overpriced glasses they have in store. Also asked for an itemized receipt when I ordered contacts over the phone, and the email I received didnt even state that I had bought contacts, let alone an itemization. Sloppy service, will not be going back

The eye doctor was great but customer service apon pick up was atrocious. We ordered 2 pairs of glasses we received a text that our order was ready. But when we got in the lady only gave 1 pair of glasses she said the other was in but she would text us when it was ready I love how they have no trouble wasting peoples gas making them drive back and forth will not be ordering any more glasses from Target optical.

My husband and I went there last Saturday to get an exam and I picked out prescription sunglasses. The ladies who helped us were awesome! Very personable and helpful. The eye doctor was great too. Definitely will be going back.

I’ve called 4 times now today and 3 of those they picked up the phone and then hung up. This fourth time I got a mailbox. Argh- frustrating when I just wanted to ask a question about my optical appointment...

Awful return policy and customer service. I was given a loaner pair of contacts after the eye exam that were not the correct prescription but they were close. When the contacts I ordered came in the mail, the prescription was correct but the right eye was blurry and which gave me headaches. I tried to return them but was told that because the box was opened there was nothing they could do. One worker was also rude and scoffed at me for even asking. A waste of $50. I will never go back.

Dr. Johnson was amazing. You will need an appointment as it can get busy, but we got in at our scheduled time. She was very detailed and even gave us good advice on contacts. It was helpful that she gave us free trial contacts to try a new brand until we got the ones that worked the best. They have a lot of selections for glasses as well. They take the Mayo Avevis insurance and also Mayo reimbursement.

Brought my glasses in because my dog got to them. A family member tried fixing them with glue which didn’t turn out well. The staff was great and very helpful.

The folks working at this location of Target Optical are so friendly and helpful - Ive been having trouble adjusting to one of my two pairs of new glasses, and the staff here has gone above and beyond to work with me. The glasses selection here is also excellent.

Doc Johnson was awesome. Very thorough and personable. Jackie and the other tech (Marime?) Were super friendly and helpful, trying their darndest to keep up with the heavy customer and phone traffic. Jackie handled all my insurance junk for me, made it easy as could be for me. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars lies upon corporates shoulders for limited frame selection and those gals really, really need a 3rd tech. The existing staff did a great job and I would recommend.

The doctor was fantastic. I did not purchase any glasses afterwards though, so I have no opinion on that upon noticing the bad reviews on the sales.

I could have given this 1 star, but I also could have given this 5 stars:The perscriptions Ive gotten here are the most precise and accurate Ive ever had. Ive gone to Americas Best, Shopko, Walmart, Sears (when it was still open at the mall) Rochester Family Eye Care, and Lenscrafters. I had never been able to see as clearly as I can with my prescription from here. The doctor here tests for other diseases as well by checking how big your blind spot is, seeing how quickly your eyes adjust, and more. They are amazing.Now on another hand, one tall woman with short, dark hair and cat eye glasses makes the experience almost not worth it. I think shes the boss or something. I have had several bad experiences with her. I got my prescription on Tuesday one week and came in to pick out my glasses Thursday the same week. She had no idea who I was and tried to convince me that I had never been there and that I need to pay for another appointment, even though other employees were saying that I HAD been there and taken an exam. The doctor said that the notes were given to her (tall mean lady) to put away. She couldnt find them. Then there was about two hours of her searching (and making other customers wait and wouldnt let other employees help them..... I felt bad) and practically yelling at me trying to convince me that we never went and that I should just pay for another exam. The next morning I get a call from them saying that she put my papers under the wrong name...The next time (forward another year) she wouldnt accept my insurance saying that it wasnt accepted there when every other employee told her it was. The thing was that my mother got a different job in between those two years and it had been changed, so she needed to update it. The other employees had told her this too, but she ignored it. Then she went to another room to make a call..... It wasnt even related to work at all. She was on the phone saying something (quite loudly too) about how shes not sure if she wants to go someplace this weekend or stay in because shes got so many annoying customers to deal with and she needs a break....I went there once again to get an exam about 4 months ago. She was still there (and I see her working all of the time as I walk by getting groceries from target) and she basically told me that I never scheduled an appointment.... Then the doctor came and asked if I was who I was and if I was ready for my appointment... Then I told the doctor all of the problems I had with that lady.... I got my prescription but havent been able to get glasses yet.Idk what it is with that chickIm going again soon... Wish me luck
