JH (owner and baker artist!) and her staff are amazing! It’s so dangerous to have this place across from where I work - delicious pastries, cookies, rolls, and more everyday. Also, look at this beautiful cake that was made for us! It tasted wonderfully too. It’s a great start to any day to come eat here.

Sweet House Bakery is our familys go to whenever we need a cake! They are super delicious and beautifully decorated. Anytime I ask for something special or decoration its always spot on! This was my daughters Beanie Boo cake and we just added the plush toy to it and she loved it!

A very pleasant experience walking into this bakery for the first time. Its a small shop, but the variety is outstanding. They have some great deals (BTGO) which makes have a treat once in a while even that more special.

Rochesters best bakery hands down. We have gotten croissants and treats which are great, but they really shine with the specialty cakes. We get everyone from here now. The cookie cake is the best weve ever had and all the rest are a distant 2nd place.

WOW. Just WOW. I had a quiche from SHB this past weekend when Rochester fest was closed for rain.It was by FAR the best quiche I have ever had in my life. The crust was structurally sound enough to pick the whole thing up out of the tray, but yet was delicate and buttery and amazing. It was deep with a large amount of egg and meat filling. I honestly cannot describe how good it was. It just melted in your mouth filling you with buttery goodness.I also had a strawberry popover thing, yes I ate too much. It too had just a perfect consistency of the crust: slightly crunchy on the outside, warm, buttery and fluffy on the inside with a large amount of strawberry filling within. The popover was fantastic, but the quiche was to die for.

The most amazing cakes, cookies, macaroons, and cake pops in Rochester! Sweet House Bakery did the desserts for our wedding and it was the most beautiful dessert bar Ive ever seen! Everything tasted incredible! Hands down the best bakery in Rochester! Jeynce and Tierynee were amazing to work with from start to finish - we would highly recommend SH Bakery!!!

I posted a 3 star review meaning it is pretty average but the owner responded asking what we tried so I guess I will detail it out.The mini cupcakes have way too much icing for the cake. it is impossible to eat and all you taste is icing.The cinnamon bun was doughy not edible.The bread was good but not special which it should be for a bakery.The cookies were good.I bought about $40 worth of stuff.

Definition of a small locally owned bakery! I ordered a specialty cake for my wife that was an unusual request and they did a great job! The cake was amazing as well. I tried the pecan caramel roll while I waited and it was amazing!Walking distance to St. Marys hospital.On street parking.Extremely friendly.Cannot wait to go back and try more!

I am SO happy they opened up. Great bakery good prices, cest only im taking away a star because the water is really over priced like 4$.Last time I went, cest for the first year anniversary, I was I was told it was buy one get one and I ended up being charged for both.

Wow. This bakery is so wonderful. She seems to add new items every week. I see the same logo in various places around Rochester. The cake I received for Mother’s Day so beautiful and the cake was moist and rich.In a previous review Hamid Atchan is a joke. He mentioned that he wants small businesses to flourish. Then why say such negative things? Although I believe constructive criticism is important, there’s a difference between constructive and nasty. The owner of this bakery has been open for one year now. She started just baking out of her home with a cottage food license. She is completely self-taught and motivated. Her business is booming. I am personally impressed and I will always a Sweet House Bakery customer.

Here at Mayo for health reasons, stumbled onto this bakery just outside of St. Marys hospital -- and so grateful I did! Its their second day as their own place, newly opened after an adorable interior redecoration. Their pastry display is amazing!I had a plain croissant, black coffee, and savory Kouign-amann. Delicious pastries and great coffee! Ill be back for a cinnamon roll and maple bar (maple long john here), and maybe/probably something else from the lunch menu. ;)Since I was heading back towards the OR, owner Jenyce sent me with TWO BOXES of treats and goodies for the nursing staff! (One nurse called it nurse bait, lol.)Great café, delicious food, lovely people -- highly recommend!

A must stop if youre in the area of St. Marys Hospital. Anything you get is made with love and is super yummy. Staff are friendly and personable. Atmosphere is cute and charming.

I was done after another birthday party were a large company Baker messed my order up, I jumped in my car and googled bakeries, I made it to SHB with in 40 minutes, there is parking in the back on the side street, I was in and out with in 10 minutes, my daughters Birthday was cake! EVERYONE was impressed with the flavors and love put in to the cupcakes. Thank you Sweet House for having a Mommas back.

Place is not advertised as takeout-only but in fact it is. The 5 chairs border a thin bartable overflowing with stuff, so it is totally unusable. Kids coloring books scattered on the table (which are available at most restaurants for free) are for sale. No silverware provided.Food: only one choice of soup, and bowls are tiny (6 oz?). Two choices of sandwich with one being meat+cole slaw and nothing else. The Panera chain totally dominates in soups and breads, and even a fast food like Jimmy Johns dominates Sweet House Bakery in terms of interesting sandwiches.

I was extremely disappointed with the decorated cookies I purchased. I had ordered a variety of medical themed cookies. What we received were one shape and it had the wrong abbreviation on them. I had someone else pick up the order or else I would have asked for my money back. They didnt even taste that good.

OMG heaven. I just had a Kouign-amann and feel like I sold my soul to the devil it was that good. Buttery, crispy, Nutella center. Wow.

Unfortunately, this bakery fell flat for me. The cinnamon rolls have too much cinnamon in them so they taste really bitter. We ordered a dozen macarons, which I understand are hard to bake, but they didnt look like macarons at all and were overbaked! You can also see in some of their pastries that the pastry is undercooked. I really like their fillings - they definitely have that down. I wont be going back, though.

I have bought several baked goods and loved them. This morning I threw away your biscuits and gravy. You didnt make it home made. The gravy was horrible. And I only got one biscuit with way too much gravy. Change it or tell people youre out of it but dont sell that stuff. Yuck!

We got choco-croissants, regular croissants, Bavarian cream-filled eclairs & a scone. Very high quality baked goods! Flaky and amazing croissants. Were so glad theyre here!
