Diamond in the rough. Quaint, cozy, and something different. So excited to have stumbled on to this gem. Returned a few times with family and friends. Highly recommend for a fun night out!!

Was pretty skeptical walking in to be honest. Looked very bland. But the service was great, seating wasnt terrible. Small enough theater to be close and not too close. Lots of leg room. 100% going back very soon!

Got the 7 Rick Husbands Mocha, iced, which was perfect for the 90+ degree day. Chick coffee shop sitting area with a theater in the back. Didnt see a movie, but definitely will when I get the time. Great spot for some delicious coffee!

Friendly staff, nice coffee menu. Clean and welcoming too! I love an indie theater and this one is small but charming. A nice break from the big theaters.

Awesome little coffee shop with a great vibe, nice place to hang out. They also show movies and even have yoga classes on Mondays.

This is now my go-to coffeehouse because its right in the neighborhood and offers an excellent selection of drinks. Andy, Anna, and Jake are incredible people and I look forward to getting to know them more.Its a great place to meet up with friends as well as a conducive environment to get some work done.I have yet to catch one of their cinema showings, but it is high on the list for upcoming date nights!Thanks for choosing Rochester! We had the best Sunday evening here. Since we are still in the “unprecedented times” we were able to rent the theater out for a private showing! It was a magical evening and so fun to be able to go to the movies again.The coffee was wonderful and we will definitely be back!

Cocoa was great and so was the movie, Parasite. Very small theatre with nice staff. They brought my popcorn to me because they kept running out ... very fresh and much in demand. Loved the coconut oil I could taste in popcorn.

Fantastic coffee and even fresh made soda options. The couple that runs it is super friendly and easy to talk to. Would highly recommend to anybody especially if you’re into indie films. Such a delightful time.

Went here for an event not specifically hosted by the theater but it was wonderful. There was staff there so I had some delicious popcorn!! Coconut oil so healthy and flavorful but not too salty! Lovely place.

I love the vibe of this place! It is intimate and small (66 vintage theater seats) and shows films that you dont get to see anywhere else - documentaries, art films, Sundance winners. It is refreshing to see a film where there isnt a loud blockbuster going on in the room next door. The seats are vintage but surprisingly comfortable. Popcorn and refreshments are excellent and the owner is personable and genuine.

Ive been waiting and watching and excited and its here! Today I stopped in for an espresso and got q quad shot for $5.95. It is maybe the strongest tasting espresso Ive had in Rochester and was smooth too. I like it. There are other drinks and they offer milk alternatives. Next I want to see Saturday morning cartoons and some cool movies here. Yay!

So awesome. Owners are amazing, kind, and personal, and will talk about movies to anyone. Theater seats are more comfortable than any where else, and the place smells so good. Popcorn is delicious, coconut oil and perfect amount of salt, actually agrees with me, which. Is really great. And the coffee, the coffee! The Marilyn Miel is the best coffee Ive ever had. As a budding cinephile who spends every waking moment in my own celluloid daydreams, Gray Duck is itself a dream come true.

Great micro theater. They seem to show mostly independent films but also offer older or classic films as well. I believe I detected coconut oil in their popcorn which was a unique treat. I hear their coffee offerings are also great.

I’ve been able to see a few films here and get to know the staff, as well. Incredible quality of space, picture, and sound. Plus an amazing coffee shop! Support your local cinema - you won’t regret it!

Great coffee and non-alcoholic drinks in a small, casual setting showing movies that usually cant be seen in Rochester. Good screen visibility. Seats are comfortable. Sound is not perfect.

Fun and great movie

I stopped in during a visit from out of town. Its a very cozy spot with a fun rotation of movies. Ill definitely try to stop in if Im ever in town again!

Great addition to the Arts Community! Affordable with an interesting array of viewings! The popcorn was delicious too~

They show movies you wont see in other places in Rochester.The one we saw was subtitled. The floor of the theater is flat so if you are a small person or have a big person in front of you. Its nearly impossible to read the subtitles.

We went last night to see “Gloria Bell”, and we were very pleased. Friendly welcoming atmosphere, comfortable seating, delicious popcorn! We will be back!

The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. My wife and I love coming to this theater because of the variety of movies, the great coffee, and the overall experience of seeing a movie without having to deal with crowds and overpriced concessions.
